I think this has to do with what I'd just put over in a different thread, re: the word "G3862 -
paradosin" (I'll try to go find that post, and link it here)… but for this post, I wanted to point out its usage in the following verse also:
"And we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to withdraw yourselves from every brother
disorderly [G814 - irregularly] walking, and
not after the
deliverance [G3862 - paradosin] that ye received from us" 2Th3:6ylt
IOW, I don't believe this is just [merely] referring to the problem of being "idle" (not working, etc), but walking "
disorderly/irregularly" according to the "paradosin" that ye/they received from us [/Paul, Apostles]
