- My answer:

- Yes, but it is necessary to hurry!

- And study and speak about the Bible and God and Jesus!

- And live according to God’s criteria, not man’s criteria!

So now it is the time as exhorted, to awake out of sleep, as the salvation is nearer then when we believed.

Now is the time to provoke to good works, not to say it is too late, that would be as the serpent advising to hear man and not hear God in His Word.

We see the day approaching, so exhorting one another so much the more is required, nothing else is..

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

- Yes, action!

- But we must do our best to live according to God’s will too!

Adam received the same death, but a difference was set out for what happened, and Adam wewas therefore not in the transgression, so that Eve has no authority over him.

1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

- My answer :

- Yes, Adam was not deceived !

- That’s why his responsibility is greater because he chose his wife instead of God !

- And not only that !

- If he had chosen God instead of his wife, it would have completely changed the situation of mankind !

- Moreover, he was the one who received the command from God !

Perfection never came yet till Christ came to us..

1 Corinthians 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

- My answer :

- We should be careful when we speak !

- If it was true, it would mean God’s creation is imperfect !

- If God’s creation is imperfect, then God is imperfect !

- Which is a total nonsense !

- Saying such a thing is like cursing God !

- On the contrary, Adam and Eve lost perfection !

- And Jesus had to die and repurchase this perfection thanks to his offering of his perfect life so we may get back to perfection !

- And we must be grateful to God for permitting it !

Adams path was before perfection had come, as the bringing in of the better hope of Christ is our perfection..

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

- And it is only the beginning of the first book of the Bible !

- Then how is it possible to understand the rest ?

Again about :

Its good you can tell the first half of the story, so I can remind us of the conclusion that God has shared.

Eve used no free will, she was beguiled by the devil, instead of knowing simplicity is only in Jesus Christ. ( God)

- My answer :

- Read carefully Genesis 3:2,3: first she answers correctly the devil!

- Who looks at the fruit!

- Who sees something good to eat!

- Who sees something good to see!

- Who sees it as something desirable to get wisdom!

- It's a process!

- Same for Adam!

- Same for any human being when he knows something is wrong but finally he does it!

- Same for the angels when they go down and get married with women and became demons!

- Man is not a child!

- Deceit is one thing!

- If you let it go into your brain then you do it the wrong way!

- When you are alone and you know there is something you will never do!

- But when you become part of a group and you do it, you are responsible!

- Lot was told to go away from Sodoma and Gomora!

- If he hadn't fled, he would have died!

- His wife was more interested with what she left and she disobeyed and turned back and died!

- it's a choice!

- Eve and Adam rejected their mistakes on somebody else!

- And they were perfect!

- The majority always does the same!

- the majority doesn't listen to the warnings!

- And the Bible is full of examples!

- It has always been so, same with the Israelites!

- But individuals can use their free will to get away from the way of the majority!

- It is probably not easy!

- But faithful servants of God did it!

- Of course not many, but some, that's what is important!

- And some will do it again before it's too late!

Again about :

Eve did not think, oh I can be God now.

Eve, as written, saw that the tree can make her wise ( knowing good and evil as gods, but not creating as being God)

- Of course not!

- Look at Genesis 3:5!

- The devil said it you will be like God!

- And he added: knowing good and evil!

- He didn't say you will be God!

- And he connected it with knowing good and evil!

- She would become independent from God and away from him!

- Opposing his will!

- And thus doing evil!

- Of course, there is only one creator !

- A creator the creation of which is constantly recreating itself as the universe renews itself constantly, as living creatures can give birth !

- It is a perpetual movement and God and Jesus as Jesus says keep working !

- How would it be possible to compare anything to God which makes no mistakes compared to man who can only build things and who keeps repeating the same mistakes all the time !

- Of course, man’s tradition pushes him in this direction like a magnet !

- But if we want to make progress, we must make mistakes and learn from our mistakes !

God agreed with this...

Genesis 3:4, kelohim

From Biblical Ambiguities

Back to Genesis 3.
For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like gods, knowing good and evil.

In Hebrew, the word elohim is used for both "God" and "gods." Grammatically speaking, the phrase kelohim could be translated either as "like God" or "like gods." I'm translating it as "like gods" because of Genesis 3:22 --
And Yahweh God said, See, the human has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, and now, least he put out his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever ...
Also, for what it's worth, the Septuagint here reads "like gods".

- The devil emphasized one aspect!

- Not the opposition against God's will and its consequences!

- He said you won't die but they died!

- Not at all!

- God's creation is perfect!

- Be careful to what you say!

- Perfection is one thing, free will another one!

- If Adam and Eve hadn't opposed God, they would have lived forever and not only 930 years which is far more than us!
