So much garbage again with any proper in context scripture. And now you call me a liar in prblic forum Hmmm.
I didn't call you a liar, I said your thread prompt lies. In that you are deceived.
Ok here goes you need some scripture bexcuase you have none.
and you still have yet to post a scripture verse. You twist scriptures to make it mean what you want but if read in context it does not say that we are to command the weather or that God is a genie in a bottle that will grant your every wish.
That is a lie you wish to believe, I'm sadden that you want to surround yourself with such lies but it is your choice. IF you want to continue ranting, you have your own thread. I would rather talk to people who want to discuss what God actually commands we as Christians to do in a Biblical contents.
Oh I know I am sounding caustic. So was Christ. I just never made a whip for you yet.
Its rather sad that you don't understand that YOU are NOT Jesus. you don't get to whip anyone. Nor do you have the power to command the weather.
You may pray and if God chooses He may answer your prayers, but I know of many religions who do rain dances and claim to control the weather. True Christianity is NOT one of them.
And you unbelivers say God uses cancer and sickness. Wow what an acusations and against the most high God.
Biblical example of God using sickness for His glory: the trials of Job. He used Job's trials to show Satan his faithfulness and devotion to God.
God used Jesus suffering on the cross as a redemption for sinners.
God uses things others meant for evil for good: Joseph's brothers selling him into slavery.
Often times bad things happen and we don't understand why. However God asks us at those times, do we TRUST in Him?
or do we whine, complain and demand God do it the way WE think things should be done?
What do you tell the people you lay hands on and are NOT healed? Do you claim they lack belief? that they should have prayed more? or do you admit that YOU do not have the power to heal everyone?
God heals people even if they do not totally believe. He has done it in the Bible. The leper did not truly believe bathing in the river would work but he was desperate enough to try it.
You never address the fact that NOT all lepers in Jerusalem were healed. JESUS says that not all of them were healed. He did not say it was based on their unbelief but that it was NOT PART OF GOD's plans.
However, I would rather talk about what JESUS actually told us and not the made up schemes of men to give themselves powers God never granted them.
I would rather talk about these scriptures:
Luke 4
[SUP]18 [/SUP]“The Spirit of the Lord
is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to
the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,[SUP][
j][/SUP]
To proclaim liberty to
the captives
And recovery of sight to
the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
[SUP]19 [/SUP]To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”[SUP][
k]
In this world do you see and speak to the poor, the brokenhearted, the captive, the blind and the oppressed?
Where you one of those and how did God help you overcome the trials the world has placed in your life?
What do you believe God has commanded you to do?
