Yep, there's a little (lot) too much of that going on here.

So it was refreshing to see this thread.

It probably won't get a lot of replies because there's nothing to fight and argue about.

Hopefully, folks will read it, meditate on it, and take it to heart, though.

amen yes this was sort of the hope of the op that a few would read and consider the scripture examples of what the word says of Gods love applicable to Christians and our earthly daily lives

if we could look past the trees we could see the forest .

just fyi it was mostly just scripture quotes regarding Gods love sort of basic

but I was just wondering why if it was too long for you why you would keep reading 😅

I didnt start reading really, maybe the first few words , but when i saw it went on i stopped scrolling and jsut commented.

Long posts are great for some. not me... i am autistic and need to get to the information quickly.

yeah I was just curious as to why leave that comment , and if you didn’t read all of it how do you know you don’t understand it ?

honestly though I understand and agree some people like short summary posts d others want information that makes it understandable

this post however was just quotes from the Bible regarding what Jesus says of Gods love and how it applies Toni’s who believe

I respect though that some want quick and easy that’s not my style d I don’t find a lot of benefit in summaries in fact in my humble opinion quick summaries lead to a lot of arguing and misunderstanding of what’s actually in the Bible which is why I wanted to share some of what’s really there to explain and give understanding of those summaries

for instance

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭

that’s a good summary statement of the source of salvation but offers absolutely no information of what this summary actually means

so why come into the Bible discussion forum ? We usually share and discuss the Bible to learn and understand it better

there are also forums here designed to chat and fellowship which I’m sure even in fellowship or chat some people are gonna have more thy an a sentance or two to say

but I guess it’s just a preference thing and sort of the whole point I am here is to discuss and learn a better understanding of what’s in the Bible maybe that’s the disconnect it seems your here for fellowship and myself for study and growth in understanding of the Bible

there’s no harm or foul brother I was just curious I meant no offense I hope you don’t refrain from posting and hope to meet you in a different forum or chat here whenever

I was just thrown off by why you had read a post too long and then had commented “wow that was long “ there was no offense or harm or foul taken in anyway just found it curious

anyways I’m sorry if I offended you in any way and hope to speak again on a different subject in the future God bless and keep you but no offense whatsoever taken or intended I’m just a curious person sometimes

you may find some of the other forums really helpful for what you are here for bro give a couple of the fellowship forums here a try there’s some really wonderful people here who are looking for exactly what you are and it’s a good reason to come here also
