So, you are back to muddy the waters with your legalistic nonsense...

Nothing you mention about Paul is accurate...

Why don't you just get circumcised and become a Jew and get done with it - you clearly have no interest in Christianity....
LOL so you are back with (what you think are) derogatory remarks without any answers…

Being obedient to the word of God does not make you legalistic

How exactly does one respond to a post where the Apostle Paul is labeled confused - by you...
Particularly when the one who is confused is you!

No!
But I know your position - I have heard all this before...
So Paul is confused when he said he kept the law? Great gNp, you might have heard it all before but with very little comprehensnion of God's word.

Paul was doing what was right ACTS 16:1-3 in the eyes of Jesus Christ, I believe this because Jesus talks about being circumcised in are hearts. The Jews that were circumcised in those days that were against our LORD JESUS CHRIST were circumcised but not in their heart.
I hope and pray that this helps. thank you so much for all your input.

My comprehension is fine - your ability to get context is what is lacking...
Your whole "strategy" is to try and discredit Paul - easy enough to do when he is quoted out of context!

Like I say - I have heard all this garbage before...

100% friend, Paul also said that he kept the law (even after he came to know Christ) so if that was his stance and he tells us the law is bad, would that not make him a hypocrite? Paul was referring to the Talmud, not the Torah. gNp knows this but he is in denial....

So PS if we look at it they did nothing wrong according to the Torah, right? So what laws were they busy breaking? The Jews got two sets of laws, the one is written Torah (Torah)and the other is the oral Torah (Talmud). Jesus accused them of not keeping theTalmud not the Torah. Jesus himself said that His yoke is easy and his burden is light, Him being the living word of God would be contradicting himself and lying to us if He had to change the rules because the first burden was too heavy. God cannot change and cannot contradict himself.

It is exactly the same with Paul, Paul tells you the law is good and then the law is bad… where Paul confused or lying to us. And if the law was so bad why did he keep on keeping it after he came to know Christ… most of us will say he was a hypocrite by today’s standards. The fact that people are not growing in this knowledge is mind boggling.
The Old Testament people broke all laws. God is unchanging, neither does he contradict himself, the law still stands and has been strengthened under the New Covenant. Instead of a lot of 'nots' "thou shall NOT kill, thou shall NOT commit adultery" etc. we have two new positive commandments, to love God and to love our neighbour. We shall not be harming anyone at all with the 'nots' out of the way, but instead we will be helping them.

Christianity can be summed up in the Acronym J.O.Y.
J. Jesus first.
O. Others next.
Y. Yourself last.

There are many atheists who live the Christian life, for example in famine and war torn regions and although it may be a struggle at times it can be very rewarding and far less stressful than keeping hundreds of commandments that have no real beneficial effect on anyone at all.

Anyway, that is my two cents worth and I won't be responding to you any more.

except the greek word in the N.T., used 196 times , is nomos, which means the Mosaic Law, and can also mean the O.T. in general.

you guys should really research the Bible, and not the Pharisees were Satanists conspiracy theories.

You are referring to somebody else not me friend.....
you said the Pharisees were teaching the Talmud. we know what the Talmud says about Jesus. no historical accounts that the Pharisees were teaching it. the Talmud is not the tradition of the elders.

They were quoting the Talmud (oral law) to Jesus and he did not rectify them. Why is that? Because he knew their oral Torah as well as His written Torah...

Like you say, we should research the word and these things would make sense.

Brother I am not arguing that we are not able to keep God’sinstructions (Torah) but give me the verse in the Bible stating that God’s law will lead us to salvation? I am referring to the Old Testament, if you can show me that verse we can continue. Nowhere in God’s word (not OT or NT) we can find salvation by keeping the law. Hebrews 11 makes it clear we were always saved by faith.

as I told you earlier, the greek word used for law in the N.T. is nomos. it is used 196 times. there is not a half a dozen different words used for law, there is one.
