Out of curiosity..... why do you think he said that?
He like JESUS worked with a team.

Paul like JESUS was sent to Preach not baptize.

John 4:1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

FYI, a lot of people not sure if your one of them don't like Acts 2:38 or Acts 22:16 which is being baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins.

I'm getting a spirit check!!!

I have NO idea what spirit your following BUT WHATEVER IT IS I DON'T WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

I'M OUT...
I'm not surprised you getting a spirit check, but if you are insinuating that I am lead by a spirit and not the Spirit you may want to exercise a little discernment and caution. God doesn't take kindly to such things against His children. I wonder why you didn't get a check about that.

Have you been baptized in JESUS name?

Have you spoke in tongues?

John 3:5
King James Version
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Are you proffering that I'm not saved?

Are you proffering that I'm not saved?
That is between you and JESUS.

It's my job to share his word.

Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

But that's what you are implying, right? That's what your questions were about? Because I wasn't baptized with the correct words and because I've never spoken in tongues, I'm not saved?
Forget about me, can someone who has never spoken in tongues be saved?

Yes. I have a tongue talking daughter and son in law as well as a tongue talking sister and brother in law. They arnt to worried about my soul. But then again they arnt in the cult of oneness.

I can only share HIS word, it works with humble people.

Why do you think JESUS said the path to HELL is broad and wide?

I'M OUT.
You were out before you even started. You have to be in the ballpark to play, and when the heat get's too high in the kitchen, it's a good idea to leave.

On the other hand, we could still converse if you would deal with what I actually posted rather than make up a bunch of garbage I never said. If not, then perhaps you'll learn proper etiquette.

"salvation via faith rather than via circumcision"

You are trying to make this say what you want it to say.... Paul is talking to Jews that thought that their "Jewishness" was enough for salvation.... He was saying that their Jewishness was not sufficient for salvation, that faith is necessary... it had nothing to do with baptism, unless you wish to connect the dots that tell us that if we have faith, we will be in obedience, which includes baptism...

"contradict himself by teaching that baptism is required in addition to faith in the other epistles."

When did Paul teach that baptism was NOT necessary? Leaving a part out of a discussion does not mean it is not still there. If that part was not meant to be there, then it would not have been allowed to be in ANY discussion of salvation... but there are numerous references and examples that show the necessity of it.

John 13:35 has no bearing in this discussion at all "35 By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.” Perhaps you mistyped the scripture you meant to reference?
Paul taught that WB is not essential by not teaching that it IS essential, and Jesus did the same.

Do you care that JESUS says we need BOTH to be reborn???

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. CAN'T ENTER without BOTH...

BACK WHAT YOU SAY UP, "WB merely a work and way of professing faith in Christ's baptism" IF YOU CAN'T then it is NOT TRUE...

I sure have, I was filled by HIM the same why he filled HIS DISCIPLES.

NO ONE SHOULD BE PREACHING WITHOUT IT!!!!

Sorry IT was look again at John 3:5.

I LOVE PAUL, BUT you will NOT see anywhere after the book of Acts how to be saved.

They are letter to Pauls churchs which have been reborn with the foundation of the book of Acts.

Do see anywhere how Paul started those churchs????
Jesus did NOT say WB is necessary to be saved/reborn. Being born of water refers to natural birth.
Every Christian/disciple has the Spirit and remains filled more and more of the time as they mature spiritually.
If you think Paul does not teach how to be saved other than in Acts, you're NUTS!!!
We are reborn and we are discussing how to be saved, RIGHT???
Why do you think Paul would refrain from doing so???!!!
