Let´s say John was a hugger but, to me, Paul looked like a grumpy man (Act 15:39 Paul and Barnabas argued, then each of them went his own way. Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus,

They were all still chosen Apostles of God even though they had disagreements among them, and the dispute between Paul and Barnabas was just who should go with them to spread the gospel truth of Christ.

They could not agree so they each took who they wanted and went their own ways to share the gospel.
They were not debating over the doctrine of the gospel !!!

I was just talking with my wife about this thread, and she put me straight.

She informed me that King James invented the Bible in the only correct language that God had been waiting for thousands of years to reveal.... And, that our American founding fathers invented Christianity when the built the first 60' pointed steeple on a building...... with a cross on top.

When will I learn to listen to this wise woman?

I my opinion holy kiss comes from 100% out of Love from the heart.


On a side note nothing to do with a holy kiss the topic but There are hypocritical and deceitful kisses too, such an one as Joab gave to Amasa, when, inquiring of his health, he took him by the beard to kiss him, and stabbed him under the fifth rib, 2 Samuel 20:9; and as Judas, who cried, hail master, to Christ, and kissed him, and betrayed him into the hands of his enemies, Matthew 26:49.

Interesting for sure but if I'm not mistaking King James and his colleagues gathered all the known writings, Greek, Arabic Hebrew bibles etc. and translated them to English language inspired so more people could know God and scripture.
And our founding fathers were from Europe who left to build a free nation in North America back in Europe many of church's had a Cross on top long before America had the first church.
