At the risk of sounding smarmy I will put the same question to you. Why don't you deal PURELY with the word? I gave you several verses in the Bible concerning election and predestination. Being a Calvanist isn't a problem. Tell me one part of 5-point Calvanism that is not COMPLETELY Bible-based.

there is no such thing as calvinism in the bible. whatever it is, it is man made labels and doctrine. the word is pure. you approach it yourself with a humble and contrite spirit with no preconceived ideas or doctrines. you cant put new wine in an old bottle.

You can't do it, can you. :) You can't prove that the Holy Spirit doesn't go to present believers. You try to put labels on people (something that you claim not to do) by saying their affiliation with the principles of a group negates the validity and accuracy of their perception. Here's one for you. I believe God comes in three persons and all are alive and active in the affairs of man today. I believe that it is by grace through faith ALONE and not of any works that we are declared justified by God. I believe in the flood, creation, the sanctity of marriage, man's total depravity (both Jew and Gentile), and Perseverance of the Saints. I believe that only the elect (of every nation) can come to Christ because it is only the elect that the Holy Spirit goes (both Jew and Gentile). I also believe that a person that God has made part of the elect can't say no. (the most disputed point in the history of Christianity) All are biblical and my understanding of them comes only from God and the Holy Spirit's revelation from the point of God's justification of my soul.

your affiliations should not be to the principles of a group. your affiliation should be to the word of God

Was that a counter to any of my testimony, or are you still trying to reinvent the wheel?
What group are you "affiliated" with? What local or particular group do you fellowship with on a regular basis as instructed in the Bible?

By simply not fellowshipping with other believers you are living a contradiction. You are also instructed to edify...
This isn't to say that popping onto a largely Christian website to talk isn't fellowshipping as long as it is for the purpose of glorifying God in the dwelling on His word, edification of the saints (other believers); however, Hebrews 10:25 makes it clear that an actual meeting together focused on worship of God, love, and encouragement to be sanctified.

He speaks with his own interpretation of scripture which puts symbolism where it doesn't really make sense. He also said that the Holy Spirit does not belong to every believer.

depends on what you mean by a believer. many people run around calling themselves believers but are they really ? not everyone who calls my name is off me matthew 7 vs 21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. <<<< a true believer is one in deeds not mouth. so back to your post, no the holy spirit does no belong to every believer. not every believer is a righteous believer.

i would not get into details as to how the switch happened but try to ponder on this verse >>>> MICAH 2 VS 1-2 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

Is the point of the thread to proclaim dark skinned vessels are the real JEWS?

It is true, there is a lot of quoting from the Word in this thread, also a lot of interpretation.

Among others, it is difficult, no, impossible for a believer to possess the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Maker, never something to simply be had by believers.

The Holy Spirit resides in all who confess Yeshua as the Only Begotten Son of the Most Hight God and Savior by His own gift, His Blood, for this confession will only proceed from the Holy Spirit. It is written; it is true.

Sometimes it is acceptable due to figures of speech to say I have the Holy Spirit, but most know this intends to say residing.

no it is not. the point of the thread is to make sure that believers worship the lord in truth so that rivers of living waters can run through their belly JOHN 7 VS 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

I am of the opinion those who have the holy spirit have the humility not to mention it. by their deeds and words you shall know them. those with the holy spirit have a light in them that shows either in real life or 'virtually' through their posts. you are a reflection of God now and your posts are a symptom of the holy spirit in you. so its easy to tell if you have a discerning eye.
