Sirk,

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice body and soul.

Both His physical body and His Spirit are immortal.

Jesus would still be alive today if not for His sacrifice.

He was born of Mary and the Holy Spirit, perfect in every way, and in God's eyes.

Who could kill Him? Nobody.

Jesus GAVE up His physical body on the cross, still perfect, but carrying the "marks" of the sins of men on His body, and the sins of men on His soul.

His soul went to "paradise" , Lk 16:19-31,

Preached to those who were prisoners of sin until Jesus' sacrifice paid the price for sin. 1 Pet 3:19-20

When He rose from the dead, He brought with Him a "host of captives"(NAS), and "ascended up far above all heavens"(KJV).

His perfect body was in the grave until Jesus rose from paradise, where He took it up again.

This body was again, Mary and the Holy Spirit, God and Man.

The only thing that really jumped out at me was "Jesus would still be alive today". Hadn't heard that one before. Especially seeing how if He would have made that choice it would have been disobedience.

Then, you don't have any other answer than the one I gave?

No,I didn't give the same answer. If the Bible is up to everyones interpretation then there is no truth. The truth is the Word. The Holy Spirit guides us as we read and pray. The Bible is absolute truth or it is not. It is possible to be in "one accord" as they were in the NT. If we have the mind of Christ and let the Holy Spirit lead we will come to the same conclusion.

[h=5]2Pet. 1:19 So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts.
2Pet. 1:20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation,
2Pet. 1:21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.[/h]

Then, by this time in your lives, both you and MsS must be blind, and have no hands left.
Hahaha! But so far my hand didn't offend me yet, nor my eyes or my toes...that's why I am still here responding to your post!

*sigh* (I'll repeat it.) "Scripture", not Prophecy.
I have never said a single word about interpreting prophecy.

Quit grasping for straws, and admit that if you say a verse means one thing, and someone else says it means something else... and both of you are sitting there swearing you are being led by the Holy Spirit, then to BOTH of you, the truth is ONLY your own interpretation, NOT the way the other person sees it.

You are a hoot... the way you will scrap at the drop of a hat. LOL

I think you may want to worry about your own short comings rather than everyone elses. Maybe thats why you seem to be so prideful. You dont self examine often enough?

4For He was indeed crucified in weakness, yet He lives by God’s power. And though we are weak in Him, yet by God’s power we will live with Him to serve you. 5Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you — unless you actually fail the test? 6And I hope you will realize that we have not failed the test.…

Wow! You couldn't misunderstand that parable more if you tried.... but maybe you ARE trying to misunderstand it.
willie if you say it isnt so then it really is. It is an event of the picture of the chasm between the two places.

Pretty much, it seems like. I sure do hear this said in many posts: "God loves me more than He does you."

This is the rules of the Kingdom Conflict being talked about. The angels back in Noahs day were messing with the genetics of humanity. That is a no no. So those fallen angels are already in hell. God has set boundaries for satan and the fallen angels in the Kingdom conflict. If they cross those boundaries God will lock them up. They are only allowed to operate in certain perimeters with mankind. If they cross them God locks em up.

Satan knows this, so he sends his minions to do the dirty work.

We see an example of this when Jesus sends legion into the pigs. It is not allowed in the kingdom conflict for many demons to posses an individual. They are tormented before their time, because they broke the rules.

It is a simple statement of fact. I would be better to be temporarily mutilated in this life than to go to hell for all eternity.

How are you supposed to know Gods boundaries and consequences ? Besides the thing with the thing with the pigs makes no sense to me. Please break that apart

The reality is that Willie is a pretty reasonable guy. We had a dust up quite some time ago and we solved it like God fearing men and it garnered a lot of respect in me for him. It takes two to tango and maybe it might be wise for you to be obedient and humble to the laws of human interaction that Jesus established and practice what you preach. Just saying.
