Utah - I've always thought God hears the prayers that are honest and real - what you really think. Not because of pure, Christian words.

Some will never understand this, but things drastically changed for me the day I went alone in a church and cried and yelled, "I hate you God". Afterwards, I had such a wonderful feeling of God's presence and great peace poured out upon me. Things began to change in so many ways in my life. I had the sense that God was waiting for me to talk real to him. He knows that "hate" was just the best word to describe what was in my heart. And he looked way deeper into my heart than the word coming out of my mouth.
Amen to this, Joidevivre. May your words and experience be extremely comforting to everyone who is struggling with their relationship with God. God bless you! :)

it seems USA has lost its way in darkness.
Most definitely. First we allowed the ungodly to kick God out of public schools, now we're allowing the ungodly to kick God out of the public arena and the social conscience. Spiritual warfare is a reality.
