That is why I was taking E to task earlier with her holier than thou attitude, when she was repeatedly claiming it is wrong/a sin to admit you are a sinner, and a sin to even acknowledge yourself gay... such garbage posing as truth and presented as being Biblical, it turns my stomach. Then she questions whether I am even a Christian to counter with the truth, as if she has been completely blind and and totally ignorant of my presence here since she joined (when I have been supporting her for quite some time before falling ill a few weeks ago and being absent as a result for a while). And then the big B shows up to side with her, and along comes another crony to deride me as they have right from the very time they started talking to me after joining... further showing their blindness by claiming there is no contradiction to say A. it is wrong and a sin to do XYZ!! B. It is wrong and a sin to do XYZ! C. It is neither wrong nor a sin to do XYZ, I like to keep a balanced view! The blindness is staggering to say the least. Then they act like they believe they need to be schooling us.
What turns my stomach are holier-than-thou types who come here and try to turn people against the right thinking that Holy Spirit pours into them by poking holes in the grounding of the word.
You, my dear, have a problem with righteousness and what God calls us to. You seem to be in agreement with those who think that they are saved by what they do or don't do. We aren't righteous by what we do. We are righteous by what God says makes us righteous, and that is the blood of Jesus poured over our sin.
If one has experienced that cleansing, then one needs to repent and turn away from their sin. If one is identifying himself with a particular sin, then one cannot fully comprehend that he is saved---or he is just not saved, and he is one who is taking a liberty with God's grace and embracing his sin.
Do you believe people who are indulging in homosexuality and at the same time claiming to be born again are
not in deep trouble spiritually, or are even unsaved altogether?
