The sequence does not matter. What matters is that both experiences take place since they are essential elements of the NT rebirth.
there is only two things essential for NT birth

1. The cross
2. Our faith in the cross.

nothing else is required.

"And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee." Gen 17:2-7

And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you." Gen 17:8-11
Look at the highlighted part.

Only the nation of Israel had the covenant of circumcision.. The other nations had no part in this covenant, nor where they required to be circumcised.

In fact, the jews, who in sin, took this wrong. (like baptismal immersionists do) called those nations the unclean or uncircumcised..

As stated previously, repentance is a willingness to turn from one's sin and seek God's righteousness.
No

repent means to change ones mind or ones view.

It is also not actually seeking Gods righteousness per say. It is agreeing with God about his own unrighteousness. And seeking Gods salvation through the righteousness of His son.

Regardless of who administers it, water baptism is commanded by the Lord.

Its promises still apply.

For you to deny this command of the Lord is a sign of rebellion.
Taking communion is commanded also. Yet that has nothign to do with whether a person is saved or not

Scripture reveals those who trust in Jesus believe and obey the word of truth.
Oh we agree..

What we disagree on is why we obey

Obedience to the gospel message as recorded in Acts 2:38, 8:12-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 17-18, 22:16 is exactly what Paul referenced in the Ephesian scripture below:

"In whom (Jesus) ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." Eph 1:13-14
Read this quote.

1. You hear the word of truth
2. You believe
3. You are sealed until the day of redemption.

no water baptism involved

Those who do not obey God are not relying on God.
Oh I agree

1st Peter 3:21

The waters of baptism do that for you, not by washing away dirt from your skin but by presenting you through Jesus' resurrection before God with a clear conscience.

The rejection of the simple command of water baptism is a sign of a seared conscience.
um, I was water baptized. I did not reject this command.

what i reject is that this WORK has anything to do with my eternal salvation.

ok, Your trying to equate the anointing of the spirit. or the spirit coming into a person with the baptism of the spirit. a totally different event.

no wonder you are confused.
Scripture reveals otherwise.

Communion is not a required element of the NT rebirth revealed at Pentecost.

Receiving the Holy Spirit is the experience of being sealed. Believers in Jesus who repent, and submit to baptism in His name are promised they will receive the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)

No it does not
anoint means to Pour on or in the Holy Spirit was poured out or placed in us

baptize means to place into
2 different things
Receiving the Holy Ghost is being filled with the Holy Ghost and takes place just as it did for the individuals on the Day of Pentecost.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:3-4

Peter explained those speaking in unknown tongues were not drunk as some supposed:
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts 2:33

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Acts 2:38-39

The sum of God's word is the truth.

The word of truth, the gospel of salvation is presented in Acts 2. The birth of the church took place on that day.

"Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine..." Acts 2:42

Then if Jesus is the one who Baptised (washed )you, then why do you preach that you needed to be Baptised(washed) by someone else in Jesus name? You would be clean as Jesus said in 13:10 below.

All you needed was one baptism (washing) by Jesus in his own name.

John 13:8-10
“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”
Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”
Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”

Of Course we know which one was not Baptised (washed)in the holy Ghost.
