well yes you do feel peace and tranquility. But, then I want to shout and jump and down and run around the church and do flips and swing from the rafters. Hollywood has tried to imitate that Holy Ghost dance but dreadfully fails. It's like your toes start twitching and moves up to your legs and the next thing you know your hips are not swinging but vibrating and you start stepping and then your back goes and your head snaps back. Kinda like whiplash but it don't hurt. Then you are worried about what other people think so you calm down. But the Spirit aint through. so you holler ands yell and cut a rug all acros the front of the church and turn around and most of the others are doing the same thing. And it feels like heaven like something you never felt and guess what when it's over your not tired nor have a headache. It 's just awesome.
Holy Ghost [Spirit] dance? Is that scriptural?

ALL are filled with the Holy Spirit when they are born again. When you manifest the Spirit within - YOU are in control - And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

. . . Let all things be done unto edifying.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Let all things be done decently and in order. 1 Cor. 14

I don't know why people dig up these videos of 'so-called spirit filled' individuals. It is a mockery of the manifestation of the gift of Holy Spirit that has been given us from God. Totally against scripture - :(

I know where you are coming from, I am just saying that scripture seems a little too informative for billions of personal experiences, from my experience it doesn't really fit

Dear friends and loved ones, we have not received the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:16 says that, [SUP]16 [/SUP]and the Spirit himself speaks to our spirits and makes us sure that we are God’s children.
Dear fiends we cannot confuse our spirit of God. Our spirit is Different from the spirit of God that Jesus promised to send.
We have not receive the Holy Spirit the Jesus promised

The disciples in the past have baptised people with Holy Spirit. The people who baptised are the ones that had the Good news Just like you and me today, and they believed in Jesus Christ just like and me today, and they baptised in water just like you and me today and they did not receive Holy Spirit. As soon as the disciples laid their hands on them and prayed to God, the people receive Holy Spirit.

So today we say that we have been baptised in holy Spirit and we say that we have receive Holy Spirit and the Gift of the Holy Spirit. If you have receive Holy Spirit then who is that disciple that laid his hand on you and prayed God and you receive the Holy Spirit? Name that Disciple please?

If you can not name the disciples then we have to find it now?

I've been confused for quite some time. I'm not sure if I've been filled, or if I haven't been filled. I'm also just rather curious to hear what it's like, and hearing everyone's descriptions. Please describe it the BEST you can.
Also, if the changes in you after the encounter took some time to happen, or if it happened right after? I also always question if I have the Holy Spirit or not, because, well, I've always had a short temper. I still do. So, that really discourages me as to wether or not I have the Holy Spirit. . .

Thanks for hearing me out, and to anyone that answers, thank you.

Dear BeautifulAftermath,
the truth is that we have not receive Holy Spirit. As stated in the bible after Holy Spirit came down, the apostles had that People of Samarai hard the word of God and they beleive in Jesus christ and They batpised in water but they did Not receive the Holy Spirit. When John, Paul and Peter laid hands on them and prayed for them to receive Holy Spirit and they receive the Holy Spirit (acts 19:1-8,).
the desciples were doing this around the palce adn they were put in prison, killed, stoned adn put to court (acts 8:1-4,Acts 12:4-5, acts 21:11-12 etc). The work they were doing is besically distributing the Holy Spirit to people by laiying hands on them and prayering.
But they have not succeded in what they were doing. But the Good news was successfully spread out to the entire world.
Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to his Desciples and not to every one beceuse the world will not accept him (holy Spirit) (Acts 8:15-17, John 14:16-17).

But it says that, the work of the Holy Spirit will be given to someone who will bear fruti (deuteronomy 32:21, Romans 10:19 Asaiah 63:10, Acts 28:28, Acts, 21:11-12.

we have to find it about who is doing the same things as the apostles did in the past. ( They will have the evidance to everything, both physical, spritual and hard evidance.
God says that He will not be with the Isralel people so today God is with what people and where and How? Is there any eveidnace to that.

Dear friend it is better to find by asking God in you prayer.

You speak in tongues and have a euphoric feeling that drugs cannot reproduce. Oh and it's biblical

Dear The_highwayman,

Do you have any evidnace? If yes then provide the evidance.

Were you in the past during the time of the Apsotles and if you come from one of teh 12 tribes of Israel and if you have evidance then proof it.

your words indicated that you are not a christain and indeed you are not a christian becasue you have not baptised in Holy Spirit.

Let God judge between us.

Let it go Enga. You have already said what you believe. Why are you trying to take away the enjoyment and power of the Holy Spirit that many of us have received? He is the "living water" that Jesus spoke of that we drink.

We have to have the fullness of the Holy Spirit in us so that we can walk by the Spirit and receive the power to even love others and say no to sin. He is the One who testifies to us of our loving, gracious and forgiving Lord Jesus Christ.

There might be another "outpouring" that you might be talking about at the end times - but please don't discredit what we have through our faith now. We read Galatians 3:14 ".......so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through FAITH" And we believed that word, had faith to receive it and are now living in communion with the Holy Spirit.

Just let us enjoy what we have.

Innocence, holiness, purity, cleanliness, peace, joy, confidence, humility, safety, and that God is your soul's home. How you feel emotionally effects how you feel physically. For example, if you are angry your muscles tighten and your heart beats faster. But it makes you feel so good you forget you're even in a physical body. Like someone could keep interrupting you trying to say, " Um, your foot is on fire." and you just say, "Shhh, not now, I'm thinking about God right now."

One thing that really stuck in my mind was a bible translater who was about to be arrested and killed, who just stood there with his finger in the flame of a candle while he recited the words of God. You just can't describe to a young boy who thinks girls are yucky, the love and pleasure kissing his future wife will be like, that even her name will cause feelings he never even knew he had. Since I got baptised I felt alive in a way I hadn't before. It's not really something that words can explain. But it is wonderful, and I don't ever want to go back to not having it.

It is not physical. Everything physical is put aside temporarily. With the infilling of the Holy Spirit comes the knowledge from our Father that everything is going to be ust fine, forever. It is experiencing love, unconditional love for the first time, and there is a warmth that is not felt in this age except at this time. It comes because we realize we are not the answer and our Mker is all that is important. Everything turns to light, and the light enters into you. Your breath is taken away, but there seems to be no need to breathe, adt least for that moment. After, the weight of all evil that you may have experienced or witnessed disappears and there is the knowledge of not touching the ground when walking. You are left with the conviction that God is always good, and He knows exactly what He does and why He does it. There is so much more, but I don't want to dizzify folks. The most wonderful ting that occurs after is the Word has a tendency to leap out into your heart when you read it. God bless all who know this, and God bless all who seek this that they too are filled with the Holy Spirit and have the joy of God's love thrilling their very beings, amen.
