If the Blood of Messiah is powerful enough to save "you" but not powerful enough to keep "you" saved doesn't that make it worthless unless "you" die right after Salvation so you can KNOW you will go to heaven?

Maybe the Blood of G-d is ALL POWERFUL AND CAN KEEP PEOPLE SAVED!!!!

We are all born with Adams fallen nature. We are ''in Adam'' at birth. We are unacceptable to God regardless of any sins we commit
as long as we remain in Adam. The blood shed within the sacrificial system temporarily cleansed Israel from sins committed but did not change an individuals nature. The system was set up as a temporary remedy until Christ the true sacrifice came. Belief in his sacrifice and his shedding of blood places us ''in Christ''. We then have his nature because he is the second Adam. The Christ nature is
to be considered as a form of deposit towards eternal life. While we are here it is still possible for us to sin. We receive forgiveness for
sin by confession. Our salvation will be complete when we are transformed and given immortal bodies at the resurrection.

Scriptural Review:

The Precious Blood of Jesus

1. Leviticus 17:11, 14 (cp. Deuteronomy 12:23) “For the life of the flesh
is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an
atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement
for the soul…. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life
thereof …”

2. Hebrews 9:22 “Without the shedding of blood, there is
no remission of sins.”

3. 1 John 1:7″… the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth
us from all sin.”

5. Exodus 12:13 “… and when I see the blood, I will pass over
you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you,
when I smite the land of Egypt.”

6. Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood
of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony …”

7. Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who
through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience …

8. Hebrews 10:19, 22 “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter
into the holiest by the blood of Jesus … Let us draw near with a true
heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an
evil conscience …”

9. Hebrews 13:12 “Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify
the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.”

10. Romans 3:24-25 “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”

11. Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

Jesus said:

Matthew 13:5) Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6) And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

20) But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
21) Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Matthew 24:10) And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13) But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

I'm guessing Jesus knows exactly how powerful and precious His blood is......

Choice. We are not forced to be saved if we want to go and live in the world
I honestly do love this and think your responses are great....

Which sin crosses the line and makes us unsaved? Is there a number or how do calculate that?

If someone never changed at all could it be they were never saved?

There is only unforgivable sin, the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Belng unsaved is a choice of life. If u leave God and become a wiccan or santi, u arent saved anymore. Wrong kingdom.

Maybe they were never saved or maybe they were never delivered. Idk

You know what I don't understand is how "saved" people can deny the Old Testament as the Word of G-d! Thank G-d I'm not god I would send them to hell.... He IS SO GOOD!!!!

I don’t think anyone denies the OT. But there are some who
place more importance on the Old than the New. They still think they
are saved by the old wine instead of the new wine.

Even Jesus said you can’t put new wine in old wine skins.
We are saved by the sacrificial blood, death and resurrection of Jesus.
Not by the blood of bulls which was a shadow any symbol of things to come.

The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed.
The Old is in the New revealed.

I dont unterstand them either. How many times did God say *and they turned off of my ways* etc.
Its prosperity gospel nonsense that is trapping people into thinking the OT was abolished (exceptLooks the psalm) tho Jesus fulfilled it

Heb 10: 28, 29 "He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witness: of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"

Rom 15: 4 "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope."

One thing I have learned as a opinion I hold, when walking by faith according to 2 Corinthians 4:18 .Is that the life of the flesh is in the temporal blood seen but that life unseen is eternal as Spirit. Literal blood without the spirit essence has no life to offer.

The Son of man informs us his flesh profits for nothing but rather the unseen eternal spirit quickens are souls.T he words he speaks are spirit and life

Blood like water are used as metaphors in parables to give us the unseen understanding. Its what you do not see (faith) that does profit .

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.2 Corinthians 4:18

Those in John 6 who do walk by sight after the things seen walked away in unbelief (no faith) I order to find the spiritual meaning drink the blood of men hid from natural man . we compare the spirutl meaning to the spiritul in order to find the gospel .

To Drink the blood of man is simply giving ones spirit life in jeopardy of losing ones own, as a living sacrifice.
We are offered a beautiful picture of the gospel in the parable below. Recorded in 2 Samuel and Chronicles 11 two witnesses.

Note...... bolded in purple metaphors used to help us with the spirtuall understanding hid in that parable.

2 Samuel 23: 14-17 And David was then in an hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem. And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate! And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord. And he said, Be it far from me, O Lord, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men "that went in jeopardy of their lives"? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.

I would offer..Many metaphors

David typified as thirsting...………... not for water but the water of the word, hearing the gospel .

Bethlehem...………….. the house of bread to represent..... flesh.

the water of the well of Bethlehem...…...the gospel in respect to the woman at the well in the new testament. typifying the living water the gospel

by the gate!...……………. Christ is the door or gate by which we enter into fellowship.

but poured it out unto the Lord...……………. as if it was blood to fulfill the ceremonial law, pour it out at the foot of the altar or with Christ the foot of the cross

We have beaten the horse carcass until it isn't even a bloody mess any more. It is literally beaten dry, and the bones crushed to dust. We didn't need another osas thread to run for another 40, million posts.
Here is a new topic this horse ain't even dead yet.
In John 14:27 Jesus says, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. But then in Matthew 10:14 we read: Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword. So which is it? More disturbingly: In what possible way did Jesus come to bring a sword?

I wanted to put a like on your post but I wasn't sure what you meant by "we receive forgiveness of sin by confessing", I didn't know If you meant forgiveness for sin by confessing once or forgiveness for confessing and continuing to confess for sin?

No maybe about it....it does save, keeps saved and we are KEPT by the power of God through the FAITH that CHRIST BEGAN IN US and PROMISES to FINISH in US....a losable salvation is not found in the bible regardless of the few sets of verses that are stomped all over by the workers for dia a denial of context, verb tense and OTHER verses in CONTEXT that teaches ETERNAL LIFE/SALVATION/JUSTIFICATION and POSITIONAL sanctification eternally applied to all who genuinely believe.....!

We dont receive forgiveness thru confession , if we are saved and in Christ , we are already forgiven
If we have to confess every sin to be forgiven then were in
