If both are wanting to divorce then they are not called to bondage but I would say its not that easy espcially if children are involved. They still need their dad.

Most jails actually have conjugal visits.

The jail system is entirely predicted on the person sentenced repenting. But lots of people actually dont know HOW to repent.

say you murdered someone, you cant bring them back to life. You make amends to that person family, you ask for forgiveness. Then you live the rest if your life giving back and serving that family. (This is what Paul did, he was persecuting christians, and accessory to killing them...upon his repentence, God told him he had to go out and convert and spread the gospel to make more christians! )

or you stole...in the Bible, you give back seven times what you stole. Zaccheaus did this.

if you were a drug dealer...you work in a hosptial or rehab with all the drug addicts getting them OFF the drugs you once supplied.
if you were graffiti and vandalising property...you go and wash windows and paint fences.

You dont just sit in a cell doing nothing but eat and sleep! Thats not what jail or prison is meant to be for.

If a person divorces and remarries, and it is considered adultery, what should be done to rectify this sin? Should the person divorce the person to whom he is currently married and has children, and go back to the previous spouse?
Situations like that must find their own resolution. Too many variables with perhaps two families involved.

That by the way is the real problem.

In most instances, that should be permitted.
