OK try this... There is no love in sin... And there is no sin in love.. God says if our love is made perfect we will walk as he did!.. The only reason I still sin is I NEED MORE LOVE !!! 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
To say all are hypocrates and all sin, is also not true, do I know everybody in the world? Then i am a bit presumptious am I not? Who says there are no single person in this world that Truly Loves God as God wants to be loved,,, Somebody like this... 6That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

I believe GOD STILL GRANTS THIS TODAY!!!!! And these people are....17Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
The whole Body of Christ are all these people, just strive to be one of them and FOLLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT.. He leads you INTO THIS BODY! Continue to repent...UNTIL JESUS LIVES IN YOU! May God bless us with this obedience to the faith... AMEN!
Amen Cobus.

I was on an internet forum of about 20 people (small). And I met one person who has love of God and does the right thing. Encourages, teaches, but also can get quite angry :D frustrated more like it. We are really close and I hope it remains like that. I left that forum though. There was this one woman who really got at me (Yes I was judging - but I wasn't the only one). And she went on and on about Jesus. It started to get at me. I did the right thing and left. Only logged in a few times today, and only briefly, didn't post. I think it was more like a cult. There were about three, maybe four who were like this. Really intelligent types. Liked to show others too, how intelligent they were

Your right though.

Further to what I just said, the woman I was talking about, she was also causing problems for others. She didn't like other woman and seemed to want to be the #1, and get all the attention, through her perfectly put together posts. All the while, in private, causing all kinds of problems. Always behind the scenes. She would follow people around posting to them (always men), and say "Love you" - while not saying it to the others. It just got really annoying. Off putting. She had all these new doctrines she was trying to teach. But. I'm just as bad for judging aren't I.

Ok it is the spirit of Jezebel... when a woman wants to even rule over a king... They want their will be done not God's ...It is the spirit of Jezebel, she murdered two vinyard owners to get their property for her husband and king and her spirit is no at rest and influence even a church in Revelation. She hates GOD!

Neither are you. Have anything to say?
Maybe. You start out and accuse christians of being hypocrites. Go ahead, give some examples of what you are talking about. I might agree with you, I might disagree but if you're gonna say it I expect some concrete examples.

Cobus, from the little that I wrote, you figured it out. I like you! Yes, I worked out the person showed the same symtoms as Narrscissim. Then, somehow, stumbled across the Jezebel Spirit as being the same thing. It was good to have answers but sad as well, because damage was done. Relationships broken. Etc. I'v shaken the dust now. And the problems there still continue to this day and seem to be getting worse there. My friend has also left, but hes on holiday at the moment, good place to be :D But we got really close and I'v never married. We loved each other and she tried to come in between us. So I'm a bit hurt and hoping for the best. I trust in God though.

  1. 2 Timothy 4:3

I think a good personal test of hypocracy for people online is "would you say what you type?". I believe we all say alot on Christian Chat and I don't know if anyone would say so much in person.

Perseucuted:
I didn't accuse ALL Christians of being hypocrites. Sorry if it came across like that. I know theres good Christians. But will it be any different today than how it was when Jesus came before?

Here are some of examples of what Jesus had to say in Matthew:23:

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye enter not in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering in to enter.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is become so, ye make him twofold more a son of hell than yourselves.

Woe unto you, ye blind guides.

Ye fools and blind.

Ye blind guides, which strain out the gnat, and swallow the camel.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear beautiful, but inwardly are full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but inwardly ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?

Luke 18:9-14:

And he spake also this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and set all others at nought: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week; I give tithes of all that I get. But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me a sinner. I say unto you, This man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

And what of the latter times? Paul says in 1st Timothy 4:1:

"Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron"

And in 2nd Timothy 3:1-7:

"This, know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady], high-minded , lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away… ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth".

Matthew 24:37-39:

And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.

So do you think Jesus will be happy with us all when He returns? Really? I don't.

I know I would say allot in person, and likely wouldn't come off as impressive as I do with what I post. But for the most part what you see is what you get, (without all the artificial boogers though.)

Yes especially true on the Internet.

Daniel 12:4:

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Hypocrits are everywhere. Everyone stumbles. I am a hypocrite at times too, but i also don't look at others actions to determine my own salvation.

If I stayed out of Church because of hypocrits then I would never go at all.

Hypocrites are a problem because they can't be trusted. You hear them say one thing and they do other things. Alot of people claim to be Christian, but you can't trust them all. They might not really believe at all. They could just choose to call themselves Christian.

The trouble is a lack of the Holy Spirit. Paul wrote thus:

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.

Where does the desire to do other than what the flesh come from? It comes from the Spirit, as He comes and makes His home in our hearts. This brings about a change, a complete change of nature, but only on the inside, in the heart. But the heart is not conquered completely, it must have very deep fellowship with God to complete this change. The new desire is to be completely open and up front with God first, and then with everyone else.

What happens is that most people find this openness to be too brutally honest, that they are not willing to face such exposure before God and man. And they close their hearts to the conviction of God. They close their hearts to God's voice.

The only possible result of this is hypocrisy.

When the Spirit is in you, do you (all) find that you feel huge ammounts of empathy and compassion for the world? Your tears no longer become tears of self, but tears for others. Your concern is not for just the people you know as in friends and family but more so for strangers? Do you find your anger becomes more directed toward believers who preach on, but dont give a damn about others? You know what they are like inside, and cannot believe that others cannot see it. Like they are blinded. You know the Spirit and you know where it is and where it is not. I can imagine how Jesus felt. I can imagine his anger and also his compassion for those who were sinners or sick in need of healing.
