It was about the past since I am online school I have to turn in a lot of stuff. So I sometimes don't because of my Iresponsibility. So I asked him why he talks about the past? I was wondering if talking in frustration (loud vioce) but respectfully (no cuss words or disagreement )
Is a sin? Like is expressing emotion a sin?
Hun, parents sometimes get frustrated too. It shows when they constantly bring up past mistakes. Remember, we are human too and need forgiveness. Sometimes we forget that our kids are no different from us and need constant forgiveness. Your dad loves you. He wants to teach you responsibility because he knows you need it to survive in the world when your own your own. He wants you to know and understand the consequences now so that later, you will be all the wiser. Please forgive him for constantly bringing up the past. When God forgives us, He places those sins as far as the east is from the west and remembers them no more. Ask your dad if he can do the same for you, and promise in return that you will try your best to do better. I'm sure your dad realizes that you'll never be perfect even though you might not feel that way now. He just wants to see improvement, that's all. Give it your best, and forgive dad for when he messes up, because he will. God loves you child. He really does. He is the only one who can do so perfectly though, just remember that.
