Did any of y'all READ her post?

You mentioned feasts, which on this site, even if you say you follow the feasts because Jesus did, you're going to be accused of doing it for salvation or to justify righteousness (even if you state plainlty that is not you're intent). This site is not "feasts friendly" which really doesn't make sense to me because the feasts are at least biblical, and there's a lot of defense on this site for man-made traditions oppose to Godly biblical traditions. Some will go as far as to say to follow the feasts is border line sinning (which again makes no sense).

Anyway I apologize about that rant, I understand where you're at as far finding a place. I was in the same spot you are about 8-7 years ago as far as finding a place. I suggest patience and praying.

Those verses are very spot on. There is a lot one can learn from the feasts, both in study and observation of them.

My view is...which of us have not put ourselves back under law again?..imagine the pressure Paul was under to please man....after all they were the original apostles who walked with Jesus and James was Jesus' half brother..enormous pressure!

..or he could have been doing what he said one time..." I will do anything to save some..to a jew...I will be a jew..to a gentile..i'll be a gentile

I wouldn't be too fast to judge what was going on...some believers still think sunday is the Sabbath day.....of course we all know that is absurd...but Paul says to let him who is weak in the faith have his sabboth day if it makes him happy...we don't want to ruin a person's faith just for the sake of our liberty in Christ...I really don't know what the answer is..as you can probably tell by now....lol

My view has always been three of the four laws mentioned were done so to appease Pharisees who had become christians. A compromise if you like to keep unity. Hardly for purists I know, but Thu far I have not found anyone who has disagreed with that view. I emphasise, THUS FAR lol.
Methinks that could be about to change!

That's right..the feasts all speak about Jesus! we certainly don't follow them but we can learn about our Lord from them. We see His beauty in them!!

2 Timothy 3:16 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

What "Mainstream" Christianity were you into?
The kind that said "Oh if you believe you're saved!" And then the churches and pastors go on this merry go round of books and verses. I have been to two different churches and heard the exact same sermon! It's like no one ever talks about Revelations or Jude. When they talk about Hebrews, James, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Exodus, Genesis, Jonah (sometimes), Galatians, and Ephesians it's mostly the same verses. Sometimes there will be sermons on 1 and 2 Timothy but it's the same thing with those too.

It's also the mainstream Christianity where people say "Lookie! I'm a Christian!" And then turn around and do horrible things but it's ok because they'really just human and humans aren't perfect! I HATE MAINSTREAM CHRISTIANITY! The Bible says you will know a tree by its fruit and mainstream Christianity is producing some pretty rotten fruit from what I have seen! So there HAS GOT to be more to this! If mainstream Christianity allows people to behave so badly I want NO part of it!

Mainstream Christianity taught me the basics but now I want more! There has to be more because this cannot be what God intended!

Some of what you claim is mainstream is probably not really, especially if you think LDS is mainstream.

Right. There's nothing Christian about LSD. It's a cult more than anything else.

JF...ask your loving heavenly Father to send you people that love Jesus and that speak about His grace and love for you. He loves you dearly and He will do as you have asked Him.

Speak the below psalm to Him..He loves it when we speak back to Him what He has said that He has promised to do for us... He's a good, good Father.

Psalm 37:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.

And so, what are "the basics" you feel you have been taught? And what "more" do you feel you need to learn to be accepted by God.

So that church I talked about turned out to be right about a lot but also turned out to be wrong about some stuff too. I walked into Bible study and they were like "God has a wife!" So I'm re-thinking my choices.

Anyways I do agree with them on the Jewish festivals and stuff. They made A LOT of sense there. So now I'm lost because I don't want to go back to mainstream Christanity but I don't want to go to that church at this point...

John 14: 15, 21, 23, Matthew 28:20 - This is why it is so important that we keep the ten commandments

John 13:15- Jesus kept the sabbath

John 7- Jesus went to the feast

John 6:53-58- as I was explained this talked about how we need passover

What do you think about all this? Because I cannot just pretend like this stuff doesnt exsist...
Where did they get that from??

This breaks my heart to pieces, it freaking hurts. Why is it so hard to believe? You are so close. I would try and observe and follow all these feasts and passover, if this would save your soul. But no, it won't.

Sometimes the hardest thing is the easiest thing.

I am giving you step-by-step instruction like you asked. But not to overwhelm you with so many things at once. The first step towards a life with Jesus is, getting saved.

Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

And here's to back it up:

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

---

We can take this slowly until you find exactly what you're looking for. You will get there, JF.

John 14: 15, 21, 23, Matthew 28:20 - This is why it is so important that we keep the ten commandments
If a person tries to keep the ten commandments, they would have to do It without the grace of GOD because the ten commandments were under the law and when the ten commandments were given, JESUS had not died on the cross yet so then they would have to do It perfectly on the inside to be accepted by GOD.

Now we are under grace.
