Jesus addressed many issues and many sins and, yet, he never said a thing about this topic.
He said several times "Have you not read... [the Old Testament]"? Its there.

Also, we must distinguish between a sexual disorder (from birth, from childhood, does not matter) and between a sexual behaviour.
To be attracted to the same sexuality is not a sin, its a disorder, illness. To be attracted to women (being a man) is not a sin either.
Behaviour based on this attraction is a sin. Behavior can be acts or thoughts.

Now I understand. You are right ... always and in all ways. Anyone who has a different view is wrong ... always and in all ways. I get it. I find it sad, but I do get it. I am not here to argue about this. I dont believe homosexuals are perverts who choose this. I believe they are attracted to the same sex (dont want to be but are). I am attracted to the opposite sex ... so I guess I am lucky. But I dont get on the back of their misfortune and call them perverts, or damn them to Hell. I think I will let God be the judge of all of these things and I suspect, sexuality (consensual between two adults/no harm to each other) will not be the biggest thing on his list.
Perhaps on his list will be things like murder, rape, cheating, lying, stealing, hurting others, etc., etc. Have a good day all.
It is not my view it the Bible's view, God's Word. You have a problem with God.

It's probably something Judeans didn't even think about doing. Jesus didn't mention child sacrifice or bestiality either.

Maybe not the biggest, but... I'll let GOD speak for himself
And thou shalt not lie with a man as with a woman, for it is an abomination. Leviticus 18:22
And whoever shall lie with a male as with a woman, they have both wrought abomination; let them die the death, they are guilty. Leviticus 20:13

Does God find eating shellfish abominable? Im serious here.
I've walked into either Costco or Sam's once when they were cooking up shrimp for samples, and I gagged at the smell. It was an abomination!

I've worked in counseling centers which is tough especially . if you are a Christian, moreso in California, All of the clients were addicts, many were gay and many were ex-convicts. Try looking someone in the eye and trying to answer, with love, why God let them catch AIDS! Or an ex-con say while they were in prison, all of the available sex partners were same sex, 'Does that make me Gay?'

Ouch, it hurt my heart, almost every day. Especially because I'm posititve homosexual behavior is a sin. Guess what, I've sinned too, I've fornicated, commited adultery, gotten drunk, lied, stolen, cheated and the list goes on and on. Sometimes I'm powerless over my sinfull nature and I need to give it to Christ! So I will defend a persons right to seek Salvation by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus tru the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen?

18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (MEV)

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."

As post-modern Christianity continues its slide into apostasy, we can expect to see more posts like this OP trying to justify and normalize lawlessness, and specifically homosexuality. Just this past weekend there was a 4-day festival for gay "Christians" in Hot Springs, NC called the Wild Goose Festival. It included several leaders of the emergent church movement as keynote speakers.

Jesus had already addressed this in the Torah. And then He addressed it through the apostles.

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Lev 20:13).

homosexuality is a perversion of marriage

God destroyed 2 cities and all their inhabitants because this sin was rampant within them

all sin is sin and you don't get to choose which is worse because all sin separates a person from God

actually, people pay the consequences of their sins whatever they may happen to be

seems you do not like the answers but homosexuals do all the things you mention above as well...lying stealing murder etc
plus their acts with same sex are an abomination so no pass on sin

and the final and damming sin is rejecting Christ

you have a good day too

The Bible teaches us to love the sinner but hate the sin, we should pray for them but be careful not to endorse sin.

Jude 1:22-23 (NLT)

"And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives."

Jesus did speak on adultery. Apparently we can’t even look at a woman!
I call it the masterbation passage.

Matt 5

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[e] 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

Of course he did. Jesus was the same Father God in the old testament that said homosexuality was an abomination worthy of death. He did not change his mind when in the new testament we are reminded that those who are sexually immoral, which would be straight and homosexual, will not enter the kingdom of Heaven.

The bible refers to those outside as dogs, advising us to watch out for them also. And, in the same way that I do not judge dogs for behaving as dogs, I do not judge anyone outside the body. However, as the Canaanite woman implored of the Lord, "even the dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall from the Master's table..." Even, so, do (as we all should) come dressed appropriately for dinner in order to fully enjoy His bounty.

Thank you for replying but it doesn't answer the question which is why didn't Jesus say one word about it? Homosexuality (orientation) was not undestood in Biblical times. It is not clear throughout the whole Bible; there are only six verses and some of those are questionable/have been questioned.

I am straight. I never chose. I believe it is not a choice. Not one I ever made and not one that anyone can make, or would want to make. That means it is not their fault. So many sins out there where people are harming others and we choose this particular thing to be obsessed with. Why???
Because this sin is the one being forced down our throats, taught to children in schools and if you merely respectfully disagree you're labeled a homophobe and hateful.
Homosexials have created a lot of enemies, not by being homosexual but by their aggressive agenda.

Leviticus 18:22 refers to homosexuality as an abomination. What exactly is an abomination? According to Merriam-Webster.com it means this...
something regarded with disgust or hatred
Perhaps Jesus didn't need to elaborate further when God made his opinion on the matter quite clear.
