Baloney, we sin because we want to sin. lock stock and barrel. That is what we battle on a daily basis. Thank God for the cross.
You thank God for the cross...........as for me and my house, WE thank God for His only begotten Son who shed His precious blood on the cross, which was the atonement for our past sins........

THANK YOU JESUS, SAVIOUR AND LORD.

1 Corinthians 10:13, There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1Corinthians 10:21, Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lords table, and of the table of devils. 1Corinthians 11:32, But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. Hebrews 4:15, For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. James 1:12-14 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13, Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14, But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
And that shows us the difference between the flesh and the Spirit of God. Thanks

[h=3]Galatians 5:13-18[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]13 [/SUP]For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. [SUP]14 [/SUP]For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [SUP]15 [/SUP]But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. [SUP]16 [/SUP]This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. [SUP]17 [/SUP]For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. [SUP]18 [/SUP]But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Romans 7:14) For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 .) For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 .) If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 .) Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 .) For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 .) For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 .) Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 .) I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 .) For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 .) But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 .) O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 .) I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

........not for nothing, but it seems the Apostle argues against you......

If you believe what Paul teaches about sin and the law, then you may change your opinion on any believer "wanting" to sin. I hate sin, but I know I sin, mostly with my tongue, but I do not want to, and I hate myself for it, but I love Yeshua all the more. This brings to mind, who will love him the most? The one whom he forgave the most; taken from the parable of the debtors.

Rom 7:14
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Rom 7:15
For that which I do I know not: for not what I would, that do I practise; but what I hate, that I do.

Rom 7:16
But if what I would not, that I do, I consent unto the law that it is good.

Rom 7:17
So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwelleth in me.

Rom 7:18
For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me, but to do that which is good is not.

Rom 7:19
For the good which I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I practise.

Rom 7:20
But if what I would not, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwelleth in me.

Rom 7:21
I find then the law, that, to me who would do good, evil is present.

Rom 7:22
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Rom 7:23
but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.

Rom 7:24
Wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me out of the body of this death?

Rom 7:25
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I of myself with the mind, indeed, serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 12:20On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

The greatest and second commandment is to love the Lor with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our might, and the second is like it. Love your neighbor as yourself. Forgiveness is a big part of loving our enemies or those who hurt us, not saying that what they did was right, but freeing ourselves from the bondage of hate. Allowing orselves to move on, and allowing God to also forgive us and them. :)

I was driving to the store this morning and didn't stop at a corner, but went through as being the first car at the intersection, and others stopping, cause I had the right-of-way. If there was another car coming to the intersection before me, I would have had to yield to them.

As far as temptation goes, strive to be the first at the intersection by study and prayer, then you won't have to yield to temptation that comes to the intersection after you do. If you have the yoke on that Jesus offered, He, and you together, can move really fast, and you can beat temptation to the intersection.

Romans 6:13-19 (KJV)
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Know ye not, that to whom ye yieldyourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
[SUP]17 [/SUP]But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
