Loving Father, who are Lord in all pure hearts, allow every reader here today, to experience the power of love in Your Spirit. Father give us a mind, positive enough to SEE your perfect will for our lives in Christ Jesus. Amen!

Today God finally told me how to put an essay together to explain why Cobus loves God’s plan for a life in Christ Jesus, and hates the life Cobus lived in himself! To accomplish the message I am about to give, I will ask all of you to accept every verse we use exactly how we quote it from the Bible, and do not even think of any other verse, not even if there is another verse just after or before the one we used.

Do not think of context, do not think of what or whom you are, the person we address today is the person IN you that will one day stand before Jesus, and Jesus will smile when looking at you, and say…. Welcome my brother, come unto Our Father.

The first verse we are going to walk, do and live is this verse… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus is the WAY to walk, to ABIDE in Truth, TO a LIFE in Christ Jesus. The ONLY WAY to a perfect life is Jesus Christ. ONLY a life IN Christ Jesus can be perfect! If there is one grain of Cobus’ life in me it is not gone all the WAY to a NEW LIFE IN Christ Jesus YET! It means that 1% of the WAY is still to be walked in TRUTH to the LIFE!


There is only ONE WAY that this perfect life can aspire in ANY MAN. That is if FATHER GOD does what Jesus asked Father in John 17. God has to physically PUT a LIFE of NO SIN in my body! God has to PLANT his will/love/Truth/righteousness/perfection/holiness IN MY FLESH! I know God imputes the righteousness of Christ to me, but He also INPLANTS that righteous LIFE INTO ME! There is only one WAY to impute the righteousness unto me, it is to have me WALK HIS WAY! You see the imputation of righteousness is the LEAD of Christ to all who are made ready for the SEED! After imputing Jesus righteousness, God implants the LIFE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS! The WAY is the imputation, the TRUTH is the actions and effect of the WAY and the LIFE is the destination of the WAY (the SEED) of God’s SON! Perfect righteousness IN HIM AND IN YOU! The WAY leads in TRUTH to a perfect LIFE.


The SEED God plants in us were already made perfect by Jesus Christ when He was here on earth! (The LIFE of Jesus the Son of man was completed at HIS CROSS!) When God plants that SEED (the life of Jesus) in us, we are made perfect, because that SEED was, is and always will: be perfect! That seed does not grow in perfection it only bears fruit of perfection. That SEED already grew to the FULNESS in Jesus, to the perfect state He manifest to now IN YOU!

Let me explain it this way… The SEED in Jesus was the Holy Spirit! And that SEED cannot be corrupted. Not even by you, and I do not care who you are, NOBODY can corrupt the Holy Spirit! Not even Jesus could corrupt the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit CANNOT be corrupted. If God plants HIS HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR FLESH, YOUR FLESH CANNOT CORRUPT THE HOLY SPIRIT!

When we are called by God, we are introduced to the WAY, and we are led in TRUTH, by the imputation of the righteousness, ALL the WAY to a NEW LIFE, where we are REBORN FROM GOD, when he IMPLANTS that LIFE of righteousness in us!

So this is the final verse…. Rebirth is an IMPLANT of God’s Spirit into our flesh, to NEVER sin again! This happens a second before you die. Let me assure you, you cannot live in your flesh and not sin. But GOD CAN! GOD CAN LIVE IN YOUR FLESH AND NOT SIN! The only way your flesh is not going to sin, is if GOD LIVES IN YOUR FLESH! And if God lives in your flesh, then your flesh CANNOT sin, and YOU cannot sin because you are not in your flesh! You died off the flesh and are ALREADY gone. You (your spirit left your flesh, because you walked the WAY, in TRUTH to a NEW LIFE IN GOD!

You are now not in your flesh but in GOD! You are as dead for this world as MOSES is dead for this World right now. AS JESUS is dead for this world right NOW! But when God is in your flesh, your flesh are made ALIVE to live a LIFE in HIS will! To His Spirit, and His righteousness. This is the ONLY WAY this verse can be true and lived out…

1 John 3:9… Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.


This will be my last post for a while; I will spend much more time walking the WAY, because I really want to be BORN OF GOD! May the Lord have many bodies here on CC to have His Seed remaineth in them. I will check from time to time but I will not spend as much time here as I did for three months now.

Many of you know my heart, many did not see what I see, but at least I did as best I could, and God knows that. If my efforts failed, my love did not. I still can confess with a pure spirit, that I love every person on this site. I think God will have His will done in me, as He has His will done in heaven, and I know that is PERFECT!

I can see from your posts that you believe that a true believer does not sin.

I admire your zeal, but that verse can put incredible stress on believers. Many young believers (like yourself) wil wrongly believe that they cannot be saved if they fail God by succumbing to sin.

Let us compare scripture. John also wrote in his letter 1 John 2:1-2:

1 John 2
"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins"

John clearly is not saying that a Christian will never sin. He is discussing 2 different things ie the soul (influenced by the sinful nature) and the spirit of man.

In 1 John 3:9 John is actually stating that the "born again spirit" does not sin. We are made up of body, soul and spirit. The spirit part of us is what died in the garden of Eden. Ephesians 2 says "we who were dead in trespassies and sins, Christ has made alive". ie the spirit that had died has been made alive. This is why Paul states that there is a battle going on inside us. The flesh (sinful nature of the soul) tends towards sin, but the part of us made in the image of God (with the help of the Holy Spirit) leads us away from sin.

However, if we fail (and we will) within our maturing stages (1 John 2:1-2) the blood of Jesus continues to cleanse us from sin. The believer DOES NOT habitually/willingly continue in sin because he is born again, whereas the unsaved habitually and willingly sin without regrets or conscience.

On another thread you asked for eveidence if Paul ever sinned. I could suggest his arrogance towards Mark and Barnabus may have been a sin when he rejected Mark and then there was a time when he confessed that he did wrong in Acts 23:

" Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!” Those who were standing near Paul said, “You dare to insult God’s high priest?” Paul replied, “Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: ‘Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people.’”.

Okay , Paul may have sinned in ignorance, but it was still a sin, which he acknowledged.

Here is what Paul had to say about himself in 1 Corinthians 4:4

" My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me"

Paul was only too well aware that he was in a spiritual battle against sin, but he also knew that it was the Holy Spirit who enabled him to conquer.

So Cobus, it is great that you want to seek God. Keep doing that, but understand that God wants you to receive Jesus by faith into your heart. Then, "He who began a good work in you (ie salvation of your soul) will bring it (the complete salvation) to completion until the Day of Christ."

It is Christ through the Holy Spirit who will change you. We CANNOT change ourselves in our own strength. it is Jesus start to finish who changes us. All we need to do is present ourselves into God's hands and He will do the rest IN US.

Sanctification is a life long process. What is considered sinless is higher then what man can reach alone and not even Paul judged himself as attaining perfection in this life but always ran the good race and moved toward the upward call of God.

the message was never to stay a sinner. the message was to learn what God's Truth really says.

anyways. I perceive this is pointless and leave you to whatever sparks you wish to dance in.

Sanctification is more then just having the SEED which I agree is PERFECT inside one person. it MUST grow and bear fruit or the plant will be cast into the fire. we are the branches, we are the trees, if we do not grow IN Christ then we are not OF Him. We are NOT robots of God, we are HIS CHILDREN. do you "remote control every move your child makes? Or do your speak to them, teach them and train them to obey your request and guidance?

IT would be the Word of GOD or the SEED.

What I took away from this post was....If we can keep ourseves full of Jesus....then sin will have to flee.
But, unfortunately we still live in the world and are around the influence of it.
I can honestly say it is much easier not to fall short of who God wants me to be...when I'm in the middle of church.
That is why we are to take every thought captive to the obediance of Christ.

2 Cor 10:5
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

THE LAW CAN NOT SAVE YOU.

Zone only to set the goal... Only for a short period to just set our goal. Our Goal is to have only Jesus to live in us. And once we set that goal, we can then take ANY VERSE in the Bible, and fit it INTO that goal!

Zone, I do not even read the law, I do not even worry what ANY law says, what I do worry about is: Do I love every person as I should.
Let me try to once again show you I do not try to KEEP the law, I try to LOVE all as God wants me to love them.

It works like this, I see four types of love in the Bible. One is for myself! second is to love my brothers in Christ. Third is to love my neighbor/enimy and the "other" like the tax collector and the sinners. And the Fourth is to love God, above all.

Now, I know the Holy Spirit knows EXACTLY how to love each as God intended. So I let the Holy Spirit do the TEACHING in my heart. And guess what is happening... without even realizing it ALL the laws are being fulfilled! I did not even think of.... Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, becasue I love my wife as I should, i do not covet the neighbor's wife. I used to, but the Holy Spirit taught me how to love my wife as God wants me to love her. Now did I do it for the law, or for GODLY LOVE?

If you can see this, you will understand how we get to be perfect. It has NOTHING to do with obeying the LAW! It has to do with LOVE AS GOD INTEND YOU TO LOVE! That is why it is the easiest thing in the world to be perfect, because all you would have to do, is to WANT TO LOVE!

Every person that wants to love, will be perfect! NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LAW!

Ananda, I am now so patient becasue i bumped my head once to many times trying to tell God to hurry. No my dear friend, I will ask God to just let this plant grow in HIS LOVE. You see Ananda, the day God calls us from our old ways, that day we START the WAY of love! Some people already had so much love for the right reasons they can achieve the PERFECT LOVE in a few weeks, there is examples of such people in the Bible!

Others like me, that had a lot of love for the bad things, we take a bit longer to get there. You? I sence you are and never even were close to the person I used to be. I can blame it on a lot of things, but only one seems to ring true... I made very bad choices in my young days. Fortunately, Paul were worse than me and he turned out to be my second hero in the Word. I love Paul because God turned him into a beautiful GODLY MAN, one with the same charactor as Jesus! A man that will take ANY bodily harm, and yet be 100% true to God! WAY more than JOB! Becasue Paul had Jesus live in him, I have the same hope to have the GODLY RIGHT TO SAY....

Nothing we do but acknowledge Him and His ways and the Holy Spirit makes the heart change because the will of one man is seeking God to do that in him.
This man doesnt believe that it is anything to do on his part but allow God to make that change in him.

he is not saying it will be done by his own works because he acknowledges his own righteousness as filthy rags so i dont understand why the anomosity towards his hearts desire to be answered, thats faith in action really, identifying that he needs Jesus' finished work of the cross to transform him into who and what God desires him to be, not for self vain glory but to the glory of God

I used to, but the Holy Spirit taught me how to love my wife as God wants me to love her. Now did I do it for the law, or for GODLY LOVE?

If you can see this, you will understand how we get to be perfect. It has NOTHING to do with obeying the LAW! It has to do with LOVE AS GOD INTEND YOU TO LOVE! That is why it is the easiest thing in the world to be perfect, because all you would have to do, is to WANT TO LOVE!

Every person that wants to love, will be perfect! NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LAW!

Nothing we do but acknowledge Him and His ways and the Holy Spirit makes the heart change because the will of one man is seeking God to do that in him.
