The Law and the prophets were indeed until John, but this doesn't mean that prophets ceased to be. For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law and Christ is the Spirit of prophecy. Anyone who has truly been born of water and Spirit has the capacity to prophesy.

The four daughters of Philip prophesied, there were at Antioch 7 prophets, there was one who was called Agabus that was a prophet, Silas Pauls companion on his missionary journeys was a prophet.

The Revelation of Christ is both internal and external, meaning... We grow up into the Lord a spiritual house, being filled with all wisdom and understanding in Christ, having the mind of Christ!

The external Revelation of Christ is those things which are to shortly come to pass, these are the words of prophecy which God gave to him (Christ) and he (Christ) sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John. The events so prophesied are not internal, but external as events that are yet to be fulfilled. They are are events that will change the face of the earth, and billions of people die, while the victorious Church prophesies for 3 1/2 years, she is persecuted of the Dragon (Satan) who has given his seat and power to the beast, and the false prophet works to destroy the people of God who have the song of Moses and the Lamb.

Not trying to be unkind to TO KNOW HIM, but you have been on your own for so long without the guidance of the governing body of annointed ministers, that you have fallen into delusion. It is written that God will send them strong delusion, because they did not recieve a love for the truth!

The first words in Revelation tells us what Revelation is about
Revelation 1:1
(1) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

It also tells of events from John's time to the end time
Revelation 1:19
(19) Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Revelation 4:1
(1) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

It is good to look at the overall picture first before looking at the events in detail.

The 7 churches reveal Christ Council for His Church at war scattered in many cities, while the New Jerusalem is Christ reward for His church at peace gathered into one city.

I have already stated my views on the 31/2 yrs. 42 mth, and 1260day thing.

I beleive with all my heart this is the work of Jesus Christ during His ministry, and what you have said is true to a certain point. But you see it as yet to come, I see it IN HIM, Finished.

And for the last thing you said, Lord forgive you for the harsh judement you have just done to me, for truly you do not know what you say.

And just to let you know, I love the TRUTH, for it is the only way to the Father.

Nice post!
Sadly as all of us have seen many times, some people get offended and take it personally when they are shown error in their doctrine. As a result many bull up in defense of their doctrine.

As you said in another thread "Its so hard to not press the scripture through your eschatological meat grinder. And make the sausage u want."
