are in direct 'contradiction' to what the SCRIPTURES tell us about His appearance!!!

Claiming art is an agenda is a bit much. I wouldn't worry overmuch as there are unattractive renderings of Christ in art as well.

Imagine all the Bibles over the decades that have picture plates within them that include images of Jesus that for some, are outright wrong.
