You obviously have not read and reflected on posts # 454 and 455. First, Jesus water baptized no one. Secondly, if you had read the posts you would of realized that Jesus used the word " baptism" with a different meaning than water baptism. Jesus went through water baptism so that John would be able to identify Him as the one that will baptize with the Holy Spirit. Water baptism was a Jewish ritual that symbolized repentance for the remission of sins. Water is used as a symbol for cleansing sins.
First, changing words in the inspired word of God to support a position hinders ones ability to understand truth. Keep in mind that the tactic of the enemy from the beginning has been to twist/suggest something different than what God actually said. Remember Eve. The enemy's tactic hasn't changed. Many have been, and others will continue to be, deceived into taking the broad way that leads to destruction.

God established both the purpose of water baptism and how it was to be administered. Obedience to the God-given command is for remission/washing away of one's sin. To reject its purpose is to reject the counsel of God. (Luke 3:2-3, 7:30) Also, unbeknownst to many, in 325 A.D. "religious" leaders, forerunners of the Roman Catholic Church, changed the established way water baptisms were performed. And this distortion continues throughout denominations today. They modified water baptism by opting to use a phrase rather than a name as commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19. What is the name? The answer is found in every detailed water baptism recorded in scripture. (Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-6, 22:16) Also, Peter and Paul establish they baptized people in the name of the Lord Jesus and the baptism was in fact in water:

"Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord."

"Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. 1 Cor 1:13-16"

The removal of the name of the Lord Jesus from water baptism is no small thing. For as Peter said there is salvation in no other. There is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) Jesus instructed the apostles to baptize in a name. And they obeyed as attested to in scripture.

Consider God's warning to people who follow traditions of men. God's intended purpose never becomes a reality. Think seriously about how that applies where water baptism is concerned.

"...Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Matt 15:6-9

Baptism is Required

Peter 3: 21.... whereunto even baptism doth also now save us...

John 3:5 .......Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2;38-....Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22;16... And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Galations 3:26...... For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

KJV Marrk 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

KJV Matthew 3:14... But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15. Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now, for thus it becometh us to fulfil all rightesousness. Then He suffered Him.

KJV Matthew 28:19..... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:.

Acts 8:12-18: But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

Acts 19:4 And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”

John 3; 22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.

Quote from Billy Graham that is note worthy;
....Also, to clarify I did not say remission of sin takes place at repentance. Scripture makes it clear that it occurs upon obedience to water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus. Each is a step of faith, along with receiving the Holy Ghost, in the process of one's spiritual rebirth

.."Paul explains the doctrinal significance of what occurs when one is baptized. His explanation is found in his letter to those who had already been obedient to the command.

Paul tells the Roman Christians what actually occurred when they were/are baptized; they were baptized into His death. Being buried with Jesus into His death resulted in their sin being destroyed.

Even though Paul explains this concept, the NEW AGE RELIGION TEACHING is......... that water baptism is nothing other than a mere public display.......... And that is so far removed from the truth.

Keep in mind that Satan knows if he can continue to perpetuate that lie ...... he can keep people from entering the kingdom of God. Thus He has proven scripture which says ...in the end times there will be ...great delusions.....they are here.

Conclusion....teaching that baptism is not necessary is violation of Rev. 22;19.... And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Also two other books of the Bible).

If there is no water baptism anywhere then why do we find these passages:
Mark 1: 4 And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 5 The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
Luke 3:16 John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Matthew 3:13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?" 15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. 16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
Acts 8:36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized? ” 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.
Acts 16: 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized.
Acts 22:16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.’

From these we learn:
1.John's baptism was with water in which repentant received forgiveness. Jesus submitted himself to this baptism to accomplish all righteousness. His baptism blesses and gives His benefits to out baptism.
2.Those who heard Jesus' words to make disciples "baptizing them" in the name of our Triune God clearly understood that meant connecting Jesus Words with water. The other passages where people were baptized included water.
3.The Holy Spirit uses means to connect the blessings Jesus won to the won receiving them. In Baptism it is Water.
Acts 2: 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” 40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”
41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

You are so right. Scripture says it all. Sadly, people reject it and opt for traditions of men. And according to God, those traditions make the word of God of none effect. Those who refuse to believe God's stated purpose for being water baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus will not receive the reality associated with it. Remission of one's sin becomes a reality for those who believe and obey God's command to be buried with Jesus into His death. (Romans 6:3-6) Also proven by Paul's statement in 1 Corinthians 1:13, baptism is to be done in the name of the one who was crucified for mankind.

I read it and some parts are quite interesting. I had never seen baptism looked at from the perspective you’re having. Other parts are less clear and some parts were wrong. I mean that constructively. I’ll reply to it later because it’s so lengthy.

When Jesus came to John to be water baptized, John said he needs to be baptized by Jesus. The kind of baptism Jesus came to John for is the same kind of baptism John wanted from Jesus - a water baptism. Jesus answered in the affirmative saying to John to let it so because it is becoming of them (John and Jesus) to fulfill all righteousness. Jesus agreed with John here. While the text doesn’t say Jesus then water baptized John, there is strong evidence that He did so. Jesus wouldn’t say He would do something and then not do it.

Matthew 3:14,15 KJV
14But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Furthermore, there are verses that say Jesus baptized.

John 3:22,26
22After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.

26And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

Jesus, at His water baptism, said it’s to fulfill all righteousness. So that’s the reason He got water baptized.

I’m not aware of any verses that say water baptism is a ritual or is a symbol of cleansing sins.
John 3: 25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about PURIFYING.
Purifying means cleansing sins as when water cleanses stains.

John 4: 1-2 When, therefore, the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John ( Though Jesus himself baptized not, but His disciples),
Matt 4: 12, 17 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jesus begins His public ministry by preaching repentance which for the Jews was ritualized in water baptism. That is why John's baptism with water is referred to as the baptism of repentance. Repentance is the first step to salvation and is granted by the Father ( Baptism in the name of the Father).

Do you think YOU can fulfill all righteousness? Good luck with that.

What we do is put on the righteousness of Christ. He fulfilled all righteousness
despite your pretensions to the contrary. We clothe ourselves in HIS righteousness.
By grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

If for some reason someone is unable to be water baptized after coming to belief and having
faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, the salvation
of their soul, and to be reconciled to God, having repented of their rebellion against God, and

being adopted into God's family, then they will not lose their salvation for want of physical water,
when Jesus Christ gives them water that will become in them a spring welling up to eternal life.

Jesus said so :)

Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of
his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”
John 7:38

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks
of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will
become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:13b-14

And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment."
Rev 21:6

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one
who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
Rev 22:17

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isa 12:3

You ( @peldom10 } X'd this ^ earlier  Scripture seems to make you disagreeable and cantankerous.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal,
flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. Rev 22:1

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice,
“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as
Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
By this He
meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.
John 7:37-39a

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any
scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and He will
guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Rev 7:16-17

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you,
‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

John 4:10

Make sure you do not allow the new age religious movement of works
for salvation distract you from God's plan for the salvation of your soul.

I realize you disagree with a lot of Scripture due to all the X's you apply to it.

Please reconsider and accept what Scripture teaches. The salvation of your soul depends on it.

According to Jesus unless a man is reborn he cannot SEE (comprehend) the kingdom. (John 3:3) In addition, Jesus said unless a man is born of water and Spirit he cannot ENTER the kingdom. (John 3:5) Belief and obedience to the God-given command to repent, be water baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus and receive the Holy Ghost is what results in the NT spiritual rebirth. (John 3:3-5, Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:38, etc.) This is only made possible because of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Born of water does not mean water baptism. It means natural birth like when a pregnant woman's water breaks just before giving birth. In other words, in order to enter the kingdom , you have to have two births, one natural and the other spiritual. I've already posted in post 454 and 455 that being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ has nothing to do with water baptism.

It's odd though that in the old testament Sons of God were the angels that found human women attractive and came down to them. Yet we humans are also sons of God?
The same title?
I don't think it's odd at all because the spirit of angels and regenerate humans are direct creations of God. They both come directly from the Father.

When a believer repents of His sins and turns to God for forgiveness ( baptism in the name of the Father), trusts in God's plan for the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ (baptism in the name of the Son), and gets filled with the Holy Spirit of God ( baptism in the name of the Holy Spirit), he then becomes part of the spiritual body of Christ who is the Son of God. As part of Jesus' body, we become part of the Father's family and are adopted as children of God. As part of Jesus' body, we live and die with Him and will inherit all of His blessings and become greater than the angels. THank you Father and thank you Jesus for your Holy Spirit.

You don't believe being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus pertains to water baptism. However, what you believe does not line up with scripture.

The great commission, per Jesus, included the command for born again believers to baptize others in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. (Matt. 28:19) This proves the referenced baptism is one that is administered by believers. As such, that baptism is water baptism.

John the Baptist introduced water baptism for remission of sin. And after Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, as prophesied by Jesus in Luke 24:47, that baptism was modified to include the use of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This occurred in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:38)

It is undeniable that baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus is in fact water baptism as reflected in Peter's comments in the following scripture:

"Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord." Acts 10:47-48

Concerning your comment in #2. "Those who heard Jesus' words to make disciples "baptizing them" in the name of our Triune God clearly understood that meant connecting Jesus Words with water. The other passages where people were baptized included water."

The apostles actually obeyed Jesus' command by connecting Jesus' words, meaning His name, to water baptism. Notice water baptism scriptures confirm the apostles used the name of the Lord Jesus in every single one. (Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 10:44-48, 19:1-6, 22:16) Not even one single time do we see the phrase Father, Son and Holy Ghost being uttered. This confirms that the NAME of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost is Jesus. For according to the word, in Jesus dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (Col. 2:9) Understanding this truth is life changing for those who receive it.

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." John 20:31

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." Acts 10:43 After making this statement Peter commands the group to be water baptized in the name of the Lord.

"...be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,..." Acts 2:38

I’ve seen many try to make the water be something else in John 3:5. All claims to the contrary don’t hold water, no pun intended.

There’s a teaching in the modern “church “ that one must do nothing to be saved. Even believing isn’t a work, but water baptism is viewed as a work because doing something is confused with saving ourselves. God has requirements that must be met in order to do the saving. This messaged will fall on many deaf ears in my experience, but we must keep pumping the message out there into the masses.

This is not correct.

The name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is Jesus. For as SCRIPTURE says in Jesus dwells ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Col. 2:9) Obedience to the God-given command to by water baptized in His name is when the name is applied.

Acts 2:38
And be immersed (or “baptized”; see Mt 3:1 N) on the authority of Yeshua the Messiah (literally, “on/upon the name (Greek onoma) of Yeshua the Messiah”). The command is to absorb completely and accept totally the work, power, authority and person of Yeshua the Messiah; on “onoma” see 3:16 N, Mt 28:19 N.

In Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. The Godhead is the Father who glorified Jesus by giving Him His Holy Spirit to form a spiritual body which He gives to those who believe throughout history. Jesus' spiritual body will reach completion when all the predetermined saints have been reached. I repeat, people get baptized in the name of the Father, and in the Son, and in the Holy Spirit by preaching, not by getting wet.

The following scripture alone confirms that being baptized in the name of the Lord is done in water.

"Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord." Acts 10:47-48

The left wishes we give up and they win. Can't happen if one is a true Christian.
They even want to assign prayer as ...a works and totally reject ...scripture...."faith without works is dead".....;
