This passage may be referring to the angels watching the original creation or it may be they were watching the establishing of the earth’s new continental levels after the flood. I don’t know for sure.Kent Hovind

I’ve never found a perfect answer to that one. The Bible mentions this creature six times in Numbers 23:22, 24:8, Job 39:9-10, Psalms 29:6, 92:10. I suspect all the pictures of horses with horns have been so imbedded in our minds we cannot get them outKent Hovind

Every once in a while someone will ask me the question, "Where did you get your degree?" While I am not the least bit ashamed of my education, I have learned by experience that they could be asking the question because they have come to the point where they cannot attack the message I bring against evolution so they wish to attack me personally instead. This is called an ad hominem argument. They mistakenly think that by belittling the man they have answered his points and won the debate. When the opponent in a debate begins using ad hominem attacks, it is an obvious signal that they are losing the debate on facts and must resort to other means to try to save face or divert attention. It is also interesting to watch how the evolutionists will spend much time and effort scrutinizing a subject like my degree or credentials yet won’t spend 2 seconds scrutinizing how ridiculous the evolution theory is! They truly strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. Matthew 23:24http://web.archive.org/web/20000903025232/http://www.drdino.com/FAQs/FAQmisc13.jsp

Scripture mentions the unicorn’s great strength, aversion to man, and untrainability. Horses are domestic animals that train well; reptiles are wild animals with small brains that don’t train well if at all. If we could start fresh and read what the Bible says about unicorns, I think we would find that a stocky strong reptile like the triceratops would fit the description much better. We have all seen so many pictures of a horse with a horn that I doubt we will be able to clear our minds and think about this subject without bias. We will have to wait and ask God that one.[h=2]Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)[/h]

It is reasonable to assume that the larger types of animals on the Ark were young animals because they would weigh less, eat less, and sleep more. Also, after the flood they would live longer to produce more offspring. No one knows for sure how many animals were on the Ark. Limiting it down to two of each kind does not mean there were two of each species or variety that we have today. Also, many animals become dormant, lethargic or even hibernate during stormy weather.[h=2]Dino[/h]

Through the instructions that God gave or through the wisdom of Noah he was given the ability to provide a watering mechanism to disperse water to the animals throughout the Ark and possibly even a food distribution system. In Genesis 1:29-30, the Bible teaches that before the flood all the animals were vegetarians so there was not a problem with, for example, the lion trying to eat the lamb. Some have suggested that there was a moon pool, a hole in the center of the floor, which would provide a place for fishing and if necessary a way to dispense animal waste from the Ark.[h=2]Dino[/h]

The minor problems that the Bible believers cannot always answer are nothing compared to the problems and questions that the evolutionist cannot answer. Although I do not know exactly how Noah took care of all the animals on the Ark I am going to believe the Bible until it is proven wrong instead of doubt the Bible until it is proven right.[h=2]Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)[/h]

Noah was commanded to take into the Ark all the animals on land in whose nostrils was the breath of life (Genesis 6:17, 7:14-15, 22). I do not believe that all the varieties of insects were on the Ark because they breathe through their skin and do not have nostrils. [h=2]Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind) a total joke[/h]

They could have survived on floating matter or by burrowing in the mud. Some of the insects may have been on the Ark in the fur of the animals or in nooks and crannies of the ark; the Bible is not clear on the subject.[h=2]Kent Hovind[/h]

This question assumes that the world before the flood was like the world is today with animals specialized for certain areas. Today the world is 70% water and the oceans separate the continents. Also, some animals only live in a few selected locations. Kent Hovind

**i usually stop posting in threads that get longer than ten pages**
note that my signature says 'usually'...i started doing that to avoid the problem of being accused of 'running away' when really i was just getting sick of wasting my time on threads that had degenerated into 'irresistible forces versus immovable objects'...but of course i have no problem with participating in discussions that are actually going somewhere or at least making people aware of useful information...

now do you usually like to sideline discussion of the best creation evidences such as soft tissue and DNA found in dinosaur fossils by flooding threads with 6+ pages of one liners and duplicate posts?

The Bible teaches that before the flood the water was gathered into one place (Genesis 1:9). There was probably one ocean and much more landmass. Also, if the climate was more temperate animals could live in all types of places which means Noah did not have to go gather animals from all over the world. In fact, the Bible says that the animals came to Noah (Genesis 6:20).

The dinosaur question is dealt with for 2 hours on my videotape #3 of the creation seminar series. To summarize briefly: Dinosaurs were made the sixth day with the rest of the animals. Noah took them on the ark (probably young ones). They have always lived with man[h=2]Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)[/h]

After the flood many died from the climate changes and from mans hunting. They were called dragons for many centuries. (The word dinosaur was just invented in 1841) A few small dinosaurs may still be alive today in remote parts of the world. There have been over 20,000 reported sightings of dinosaur like creatures in this century. A few pictures and stories are on my web site.Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)

It would take 4.4 billion cubic kilometers of water to cover Mt. Everest. Where did the water come from to flood the earth?Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)

This question also assumes that the pre-flood world was like the world is today. The Bible states clearly that the water was 15 cubits over the tallest mountain. Sea-shell fossils have been found on top of mountain ranges all over the world. The top of Mt. Everest is covered with petrified, closed clams. They had to be buried alive to be petrified in the closed position.Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)

This was definitely a worldwide flood. The Bible says in Psalm 104 that as the flood ended the mountains lifted up and the valleys sank down and the water hasted away. Today’s mountain ranges are well above sea level, but this was not the case before the flood. If the earth were smoothed out today, that is, the mountains pressed down and the ocean basins lifted up, there is enough water in the oceans right now to cover the entire earth 8,000 feet deep (approximately 1.5 miles).Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)

All of the water ran off rapidly through the soft sediments into the ocean basins during the last few months of the flood. This would explain the rapid carving of features such as the Grand Canyon and the Bad Lands.Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)

This question assumes the oceans were salt water during the flood like they are today. I believe the entire world was largely fresh water. Today about 30% of the rain water washes into the oceans, bringing mineral salts with it. The oceans are getting saltier every day. Today’s oceans are about 3.6% salt. Between the salts washing in from ground water and the salts leaching in from subterranean salt domes, the oceans could have gone from fresh water to 3.6% in the 4400 years since the flood. If the earth were billions of years old, the oceans would be much saltier – like the Dead Sea or Great Salt Lake.Dr. Dino (Kent Hovind)
