Because it says THE things .
verse 10 also 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God .
The answer is here look in chapter 3 ( remember chapter divisions are not inspired)
1¶And I, brethren, COULD NOT !!!!! SPEAK unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
Notice how it matches v 6 of chapter 2 .
6¶Howbeit WE SPEAK WISDOM among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
The whole point is COULD speak v COULD NOT speak . Can understand =Mature. v Unable= fleshy carnal.

Your making this way !!! complicated than is necessary.
Notice it doesn't say he couldn't speak unto them as ' regenerated ' . Or could not speak unto them as saved " . No he could not SPEAK unto them as SPIRITUAL .He can't speak about the deeper SPIRITUAL THINGS he can speak in v 6

You need to read Isaiah 28:9-10, or if you have already, re-read it. None of your references are pertaining to the unregenerate natural man.

Sorry, but you are going to have to be more specific, if I am able to understand what you are trying to show me in verse 6 that is not talking about things of the Spirit. You do, I assume, know that newly born regenerated babes in Christ see things through their carnal mind more than they do through their spiritual mind. That is why we are so diversified on this forum, because many are still regenerated babes in Christ.
Of course . They don't understand the deep things yet .

Yes, but as to babes in Christ. Babes IN CHRIST. These are regenerated babes, not the unregenerate natural man. You might as well give up, you are never going to convince me that the Natural unregenerate man can save himself eternally. The scriptures will not harmonize with your attempts to do so. And, furthermore, no man/woman can save themselves eternally.

I am assuming that most people on this forum are regenerated children of God, including you, but you, yourself, do not understand the deep things of God. The natural unregenerate man will never understand the shallow, or deep things of God.

That could be the false dilemma that is making you see things in ' extremes ' . No one can save themselves . But can they believe in the one who saves ? of course.

Notice your adding ' shallow or deep things of God ' i assume you mean ' believe the Gospel ' ? If so then you are going beyond into private interpretation. You think this verse means " not able to believe the Gospel ' ? The very thing God commands all men every where to believe?

There is nothing in the entire bible that says man is unable to believe the Gospel. The very idea is slightly nutty considering the bible commands everyone to believe and be reconciled to God and especially in light of the consequences of not receiving Jesus are so drastic .

Scripture?

from genesis to revelation that is the message.

you can make God whoever you want him to be, as paul said in Romans 1 God will not take away your feee will

i will take god for what he has shown to be from beginning to end.
loving merciful, long suffering, not willing than any should perish but all should come to life

if he does not offer it to all, then He goes against his will
OK. You've made your position clear.

Take care and God bless

Apologies for the quick responses . likewise my hands are full at the moment
I'm back (briefly). I've been through your posts. I think we've both said our piece and we can rest and let the others judge (as the Lord wants it (1st Cor.14:29).

Till the next debate ... (y)
