Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.

Lead us not, it does not say, tempt us not. God DOES NOT tempt! It's saying keep us from falling into temptation, from giving in to our human desire to sin.
Why pray if God does not lead you into temptation? Have you sinned being tempted? You should have prayed instead.

I don’t care if you answer back. Read it if you want understanding. If you understood how much I had to read, study, pray and meditate to formulate that information you would be thankful it was condensed so neatly.
I know where people are coming from before reading their posts.

Temptation is not sin. Jesus was tempted but did not sin.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses,
but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin.

Hebrews 4:15

16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
So Paul is not Jesus' slave even though he says he is?

Scripture shows that God did not create evil and does not promote it; rather, it describes God’s actions in combating it. God limits the impact of evil, warns us of the dangers of evil, acts to stop the spread of evil, gives us an escape from evil, and will eventually defeat evil forever.

Taken as a whole, as it is intended, the Bible describes evil as something God allowed, but never condoned, for the sake of our free will (or self will in opposition to God's will). All through history, God has taken steps to limit the influence of evil. And, most importantly, God Himself took the consequences of our sin, so every person can have access to forgiveness and salvation. As a result, all sin, evil, and suffering will someday be completely ended. Beyond the philosophical or theological aspects of this issue, Scripture in and of itself goes a long way to neutralizing the power of the “problem of evil.” source

The word translated “evil” is from a Hebrew word that means “adversity, affliction, calamity, distress, misery.”

It is unwise to assume that “I create evil” in Isaiah 45:7 refers to God bringing moral evil into existence.

So? It sounds like evil to me.

Could you address the point that being tempted does not equate to sinning?
But if you pray, you might not give in.

Are you really incapable of distinguishing moral evil from, say, natural disasters?
Evil includes wicked people too. God created war and mayhem which relies on wicked people.

The Ten Commandments were the Law. The New Covenant abolished them.
The law of faith completed it making it perfect.

Death as to the letter of the law will not be cast into the judgement fire of God until the last day under the sun . Not one jot or tittle until then . It will not rise up and condemn through corruption an entire creation ever again.

The law, death was made perfect according to the law of faith. the unseen work of the father and Son .Not the Son seen alone. Together as one work of faith or labor of love the just the father, and the justifier the Son brought the gospel of peace that surpasses our human understanding . . . .from faith the unseen eternal to the same faith .Comparing the things not seen(spiritual) to the things unseen .

No division between the old testament and the new testament. Same author and finisher of our newly created faith.

Jeremiah and Hebrews say the New Covenant replaced the old.

Mankind was good when first created. God did not force Adam to choose as he did.

Adam wanted to sin but God controlled his steps.

Yes relies on wicked people who know not God. Fools.

They as a froward nation have "no faith", not little but none. No faith by which they could seek after him in order to understand.

Because of the letter of the law. God creates a evil but is never the cause. To attribute evil to God and not the voice of a stranger Satan posing as a flesh and blood creature. . is to blasphemy the name by which we are given his understanding or by which he calls us unto Him .
