No, Islam is not inherently evil IMO. Plenty of atrocities have been committed in the name of Christianity & likewise Islam, but equally there has been lots of good work done in the name of those two (and many other) religions. Just leave it to God to judge.

Sorry if this has been said before, I didnae read the entire post.

in the sense that it calls Jesus simply human, degrading His real authority, it is "evil" but muslims are not evil, they are simply incorrect. Actually, even though close doesn't cut it, they are the second closest religion to Christianity. and, this being a sensitive subject, i apologise for any misunderstandings and or hurt feelings that may be in this post.

All is forgiven. I apologize if it seemed that I judged you as truly it was meant towards the situation.

Exodus 16:22-

And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.

23And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
24And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
25And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
26Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
27And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
28And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
29See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. 30So the people rested on the seventh day.

I truly believe that in the spirit, we are all one. The righteous Muslim as well as the righteous Christian. Jesus, the true bread of heaven was given to all. Every man according to his eating; some more and some less. God also said that every man is to abide in his place and to let no one go out of his place on the seventh day. We know now that the true Israel is spiritual Israel.

1 Corinthians 7:17-24

But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

18Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
19Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
20Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
21Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
22For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
23Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. 24Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

Again, we see the same structure as in Exodus. Those who know who they worship, are the ones that are circumcised. Those who worship without proper understanding are those that are uncircumcised. They both are accounted as nothing as we all are to keep the commandments of God. One who is circumcised (Christian) when called, let him not become uncircumcised. And likewise, one who is called in uncircumcision (Muslim), let him not become circumcised. We are told to abide in the same calling in which we were called, with every man a double portion of bread (Jesus) according to his eating. Some more and some less, with the commandments to obey being the ten summed up in loving God with all of our being and loving our neighbor as ourselves.

My beliefs might seem far-fetched, but if we are indeed trying to please God and not men, then all who is truly genuine in this will atleast look into it. If I am wrong, I will admit it as my pride will never get in the way of my salvation.

God bless

Why did Jesus say, “Judge not, that you be not judged”?
people miss quote this so much! Its Condemn not lest you be judged! Please if your going to use scriptures, use them correctly for Jesus said . " Do not Judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." John 7. The judge not was not that you should never use judgment! But that you should not ever use unrighteous judgment. For even Paul said " do you not know that we will judge angels". Yes Christians and non alike who like to hide behind this " don't judge me theory" to hide there lives from the light of God's word to get away with something, knock knock, it doesn't work.

I know that there are two brother religions and that is Christianity and Islam. But Christianity goes from the beginning to the end and is true and Even has the human relations from Adam to Joseph all in line. I don't know a whole lot of Islam and I think we should rather not talk about their beliefs.

Evil will twist peoples perception of things they have little knowledge about. I would like to make some Islamic friends one day, so I can learn their believes and how they view other people outside Islam. There is allways two sides to things. Let us not judge people by the extreme actions of others.

I'm married into a muslim family and they are loving caring and a wonderful family. But I am Christian. By the way, nowhere in the koran does it discuss killing people or suicide. In Islam, you are not allowed to kill anyone, you won't go to heaven, it is written.

In my relationship with my hubby, women are seen as equal too. My hubby is very loving and caring.

Being married to a Palestinian and non-practicing muslim with the same Godly beliefs as me is normal and healthy.

I think, brethren, that the answer lay outside our personal feelings for what Islam is and is not,
To be able to discern from falsehoods, is not the same as being able to point your finger and pass judgement on a whole race of believers. Surely as many of you will, and do; I believe that Islam is intrinsically flawed, but my opinion is based on countless hours of prayer and study over the actual writ, not on personal bias.
For instance, I do not enjoy the way it depicts Jews, for being a peaceful religion (or faith) it has a way of transforming something beautiful and turning it away from that which it originally was.I do not cast my judgement upon the followers of Allah, for once, he was the same as the God of Abraham and Isaac, but Ishmael fell away from such things, by the fruit of His laboring, I think, we can say this.
However! I do not, as a follower of Christ, condone the way in which we raise our own righteousness above them, for we all fall so short. Certainly, you have never been forced to read a qua'ran and certainly, no Muslim person has come to you in the name of evil. Surely, the evils within our own hearts warp all forms of beauty.
Again though, it is not beauty that we are here to pursue, or discuss, it is not beauty that came to take away the sins of the world. Neither was Christ a simple prophet, for He neither claimed the office of the prophet, nor was he a man alone; but in the fulfillment of the Words of Isaiah, a prophet whom even the Muslims will know, He came as Messiah.
Stop casting each other down, it is the folly and task of fools.
By the fruits of your labors are you to be known upon this earth as Christians, followers of the one True God.
Do you have such little love of His example, that you can take it, claim it, and still somehow manage to speak in hateful derision?
I love each and every person upon this earth, no matter how sadly they fall from grace, for I too, am but a man. I too, am unrighteous.
On the day we go unto judgement, on the day we are swept from this earth, what do you expect God to say to you? When you look into Him who was entrusted the final Judgement, what will He say to you? That you followed His example and His life boldly? Or that you warped what He said, and used it to your own means?
We all understand that Muslims and Christians, and Jews are at polar opposite ends of faith; one the fruit of Ishmael, the other of Isaac... Why then, do you ceaselessly war against each other? Arabian Princess is my friend, do not cast her down for keeping safe those people whom she loves; do you think your own kind fall somehow less short because they worship with a 'christian' title? I tell you, we are slaves to that which we obey; and it is of no man to pass his judgment upon his brother... It is not our right, nor our purpose... There are so many among the world's house of god whom claim a christianity they are not given unto. So so so many, and you know this much brethren.
I am sure, there are still those whom laugh and scoff at my words, true though I have spoken. Fine, go, and do as you all will to each other, but I follow the one true Christ, so take my other cheek I turn to you; and with the tongues of vipers continue to spew such foolish things.

Blessed are the meek, blessed are those who come in The Name of The Lord,

Love, your brother in Christ,
~Witness_Israel

If we follow the way that Jesus embraced everyone and even broke bread with them. Then we shouldn't even be having this discussion. I think some people get joy out of stirring the pot. I know America is still hurting from 911 and I hope that time will heal.

Terroists were responsible for 911, and we cannot attribute this to all the good muslim families, in general.

It's really quite simple when you get over the political correctness.

1. Rebellion against God is evil.
2. All false religion is a form of rebellion against the true God.
3. Islam is a false religion.
4. Islam is evil.

Just a simple question... Why do people in ignorance call something evil without an intimate knowledge of it? Is it out of ignorance on Christian's part, or Muslim's part, That helps cause divison between them, And from that, Rivalry... What is evil to one person, May infact be very good to another. You could indeed say that I am evil, But then someone else would find me as a good person... No human living is all knowing enough to know true good from true evil, when there is a seed of good, and a seed of evil in everyone who is human.

Christianity is the ONLY TRUE Religion with TRUE doctrine. And whist there are similarities between te Koran and Holy Bible. There is some false doctrine in the Koran. But Islam as a religion is NOT evil either.

How do you know people are calling it evil out of ignorance?

What divides Muslims from Christians is their worldview, not ignorance. (In some cases it may be ignorance, but even if we take away the ignorance we are still left with a division over truth.) And I don't see how you can be all knowing enough to know that there is a seed of evil in everyone, but we can't be all knowing enough to know that one thing is evil and another thing is not.
