I disagree.. A person who thinks of Jesus as just their leader may think Jesus is not God / divine ...

Like the muslims who declare Jesus to be just a prophet... Very different..
I coached my son's football team. When we were at the field he called me coach. This didn't mean I was no longer his dad. Just like coach is a title, lord is a title. Lord doesn't mean God. We call Him Lord because it is recognizing Him as our authority. There would be no reason for non-Christians to call Him Lord because they do not surrender authority to Him.

"The Holy Spirit is sent meaning he is separate." <<I'm not sure about this. Since God is omnipresent, being "sent" doesn't necessarily mean the Holy Spirit is separate from God, right? Perhaps the Holy Spirit embodiment of God was in Heaven, and then was sent to earth. The same could be said of the Jesus, the human embodiment of God sent to us to teach us, lead us to salvation, and die for our sins. Just a thought.
Here is the fact that everybody seems to be ignoring; there are other beings or entities that exist that people have worshiped as their gods. Our Heavenly Father doesn't say these lesser beings don't exist, He says not to worship them. If I own a business and tell my son to create a machine. The machine belongs to me, because it's my company and one day my son will inherit it. If somebody tried to take the machine I would be upset. The point to this is we were created for The Heavenly Father by the Son. We are the machines that tried to jump ship and work for another employer. The Father said, "No! You belong to me. You shall have no other gods before Me." We all try to fit scripture into a box that allows only one superior being. There are other beings but we bow to our God. Just like my kids have similar DNA as me The Father and the Son are similar but they are not each other. We say God the Father is omnipresent, not Him. He knows everything because the Holy Spirit is omnipresent and communicates to the Father who is on His throne with His Son beside Him.

3 working in unity as one.

<snip>

Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Mathew 26:64.

And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Luke 20:42.

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Luke 22:69.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts 2:33.

It's when I read passages like this that I begin to wonder if Jesus and God are one and the same. For example, if you replace "Jesus" with "God" in Luke 22:69 it says, "Hereafter shall God sit on the right hand of the power of God."

I had begun to think that the saying, "God of man, God as man, and God within man" was an apt explanation. But when I read passages about Jesus sitting on the right hand of God it seems to imply that Jesus is a separate being.

Hebrews 1:8 - But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.
I had missed this excellent verse from Hebrews 1 in your post #5 above in this thread. (I noticed this verse from your post in rehbein's thread that you bumped recently. Then I noticed you made the same post in this thread.) It's something I need to study a bit. Thanks!
