Why do you not trust Christ to keep you saved?

See, you believe that you can lose your salvation, and that is why you post "self saving" instead of : "Christ keeps me saved."
So, the real question is......Why don't you trust Christ to Keep you Saved. ???
Amen

Our faith is supposed to be in Christ. Not ourselves.

Friend, seem to me you change the Word

The Word say murder not inherit the kingdom

You change into

Murder inherit the kg only not disciple
That is big change
David murdered
Moses murdered
Saul/Paul murdered

if murder keeps us from the kingdom of heaven. Then they will nto make it

The bible says if we are angry we have murdered..

so who then can make it to heaven?

They have a problem realizing in Gods eyes. A little white lie is just as damning as murder.

so they look at someone who murdered on person = 1 sin

yet can not see the 20 sins they committed in the past month (most likely way more than that)

and somehow think they are better, because they did not commit murder.

Jesus "became our sin"......on the Cross, and we became "the righteousness of GOD.......IN CHRIST".

God and Christ and the Holy Spirit, could not live IN US< if we were sinners.
We have to be as righteous as they are, for them to exist IN US.

Being born again, has made us a "new creation" in Christ, and that is our born again Spirit that is "made Righteous".
That's how they live IN us, who are born again. = "Christ IN YOU, the hope of Glory". "Glory " is heaven.

The born again are already IN the Kingdom of God.

You are talking about a verse that is not talking about the born again.

John Calvin burned a man to death.
Pope's were burning real Christians for 1500 yrs.

You have sinned after you were saved.
So, did you lose your salvation because you sinned after you were saved?
And the next time you sin, will you lose your salvation?
When you understand why you don't, you will have begun to understand .... : "The gift of Righteousness"
The word say murder not inherit kg who ever did it is the Word not my word and I believe it
The problem is not wether I am still sin or not the problem is what the Word say

If I have the authority to change the word, I will make everything you do you go to heaven, because easier for me
Unfortunately I am not God and don't have authority to make the rule

God make little easy, if you do sin repent He will forgive you otherwise God not a liar
He say murder not inherit, who ever found murder not inherit

If you tell lie you not a liar
If you murder you not a killer
Than why Paul say murder not inherit kingdom?

It you rob the bank, police don't have the right to arrest you because Jesus die for that, He pay the penalty for you
Murderers will not inherit the kingdom of God, that's why a murderer needs the righteousness of Christ. When a murderer receives the righteousness of Christ through the new birth he is no longer a murderer. He is righteous! Why? Because Christ is righteous! All the things that are true about Christ belongs to the believer.

Sin is already forgiven 2000 yrs ago on the Cross.

Read John 3:17

Believe it., as its true.

If you claim to be without sin, you deceive yourself and the truth is not in you.
I never said I am without sin. No one is without sin. Where did I ever suggest that I am without sin?

I never said I am without sin. No one is without sin. Where did I ever suggest that I am without sin?
Where did I say you had? Do you not recognize the gist of Scripture when it is presented to you?

You may have a wrong interpretation of legalism. If we are a born again believer, are we saved? Yes.
Are we who are saved followers of Jesus? Yes. Are we who are follower of Jesus observing Jesus's commands? Yes.
Do we observe Jesus's commands for the glory of God? Yes. Do we who are born again saved believers who follow Jesus and observe His commands for the glory of God have a personal relationship with Jesus? Yes.

If you claim to be born again, and claim to be saved, and claim to be a follower of Jesus, and you are living in total disobedience to His commands, you are not living up to your claims of being a born again saved follower of Jesus. Jesus will say "I never knew you. Go away you who practice lawlessness."
Are you suggesting any can live in total obedience to His commands?

Let me show you something that can help you see the wonder of God's Grace.

Now, i give you the benefit of the doubt that you born again, and not just water baptized, being told that "the water washed away your sin".
So, if that happened to you, then you are water baptized, and nothing else..

Here is the thing,

On the day you trusted Christ and God took your faith as..."faith is counted as righteousness", God KNEW That DAY, of every sin you would commit later, and all the days that you were cold to God, that would happen after you were saved.
He knew all that, about you, and He saved you anyway.
He saved you anyway, Jerry, knowing of your sinning and other issues that you would do later.
Why?
Why would God save you, KNOWING that later, you would break commandments, willfully sin, and sometimes just not be concerned about God, .....?????

Why?

Because God understands that His Blood that Is Christ on the Cross, and His Death, which is Christ on The Cross.......has more power to keep you saved than you have the means by lifestyle to lose your salvation.

Notice Romans 4:8..........PAUL teaches that God does not charge your sin to you, ever again, if you are born again.

Notice that Paul teaches the REASON...... = Romans 5:20.....>"where sin abounds GRACE more abounds"..

= where sin is found GRACE is greater than your sin.

Welcome to your salvation. Its a GIFT.
Amen. Yes, indeed. Once I was regenerated, I knew I was no longer my own but belonged to the Lord. As a result of my regeneration, I have the convicting Spirit of God in me, and I am chastised at every wrong turn I make in my flesh.

Although I am not perfectly sinless, all of the prompting of/by God causes me to sin less and less and less as time goes by. Will I ever be perfectly sinless? Not likely, but I do have my perfectly sinless and completely righteous Savior and Lord Jesus Christ that covers me. I know I have an advocate in Jesus for when I stumble into sin, but by the continual conviction of/by the Holy Spirit that lives in me, I know I am eternally saved.

Because I know I am eternally saved, I will always follow my Lord, and my Lord calls on me to be obedient to His commands. I will follow Him and I will fall short. So, I will confess my falls and failures and He will forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. Then I will continue on the narrow path with my Lord, my advocate, my helper, and my comforter. The narrow path is the difficult way, and it is the only way to eternal life.

I do not need to read it again. Why have you not answered my question?
I know you were using scripture to reply to my message. I know what that passage means. If you were not directing it to me personally, I apologize. But that is how it seemed.

The narrow path is the difficult way, and it is the only way to eternal life.

Let me show you something interesting..

"the narrow way"................... vs.............>"the broad way".........

Jesus said......I am THE way................See that? that is your "narrow way"......>its Him.....>He is the only way to heaven.
And that is NARROW, as its specifically only ONE........ John 14:6

Now, what is the "broad way" that leads to..........destruction..........that is hell, the 2nd death, and damnation.......Its this John 3:36.

So, the broad way, is RELIGION, is self effort, is everything a person can try to do, of THEMSELVES to have relationship with God, that can only be accomplished by Jesus.

So, the "broad way" is the SELF way.

The Narrow way, is........Jesus Himself.............. John 14:6

Its not a lie

A child of God is not a sinner.

A murderer by practice has never met God.

You need to put scripture together and not make doctrines based on one verse.

why can't you answer her question?

Anyone who would read what you posted would think you believed what she thought, Because of what you said.

You should stop thinking everyone understand what you say and be more humble

It is jesus saving us and keeping us saved (the narrow way)

or us saving ourselves or keeping ourselves saved - The wide way.

This what Jesus say

Matt 7
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
True and False Prophets
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
True and False Disciples
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Evil fore not go to heaven narrow because must bear fruit of Holy Spirit
