Its not a lie

A child of God is not a sinner.

A murderer by practice has never met God.

You need to put scripture together and not make doctrines based on one verse.
So after you put the Word together, practice murder gwithout repent go to heaven?

Amen

It is jesus saving us and keeping us saved (the narrow way)

or us saving ourselves or keeping ourselves saved - The wide way.

Paul says that when a believer, who is born again........loses faith that Christ keeps them saved, they become this...

"who has bewitched you that you NO LONGER obey the Truth".

Paul says that all who are born again and have come to the place where they believe they can lose their salvation are :

1. Fallen From Grace

2. Bewitched

3. In the Flesh

I know you were using scripture to reply to my message. I know what that passage means. If you were not directing it to me personally, I apologize. But that is how it seemed.
Of course it was directed to you! But that does not mean I was accusing you of anything...

beyond vacillating between saying one must be sinless and admitting you are not sinless.

He is showing you the difference between committing a sin, and being a sinner.

See, if you are born again, then you are become "the righteousness of GOD.......in Christ"..
So, you are no longer a sinner, but you can mess up.
Paul calls this........"committing a work of the Flesh".

whereas, the UNBELIEVERS, are SINNERS, because Christ has not paid for their sin.
This means they are sinners, who are sinning.

As john said, He who is born of God does not sin (practice) because he has been born of God.

He who sins (practices) has never seen or known God

As I said, You need to study the whole word. not just one verse

John says those who have come to the point they reject Christ have never been saved.

I am not sure why people depend on self effort and cant understand thats works based Gospel. not grace based

A combination of the two would mean we become sinless... as in, stop sinning altogether.
Disagreed. I believe it is about having a repentant heart. It is the desire to stop sinning. Nobody can stop sinning permenantly-- it is our nature. But having the desire to be christ-like and having the desire to not sin is more the point.

Not saying "Thanks for saving me Jesus -- I think I will go murder somebody and just ask for forgiveness later*

This is just my interpretation. I guess we will know when we all get to heaven.

It's not vacillating, and you are not correctly positing what I said. I never said one must or will ever be "sinless", but that when we are saved we will sin less. We sin less because we are saved. The only one perfectly sinless is the Lord Jesus.

I am not sure how one can be relying on Christ's righteousness if they have to attain their own righteousness by becoming sinless.

Its the nature of a person to want to get some praise and applause.
So, the "i am keeping myself saved by commandments and self effort, Gospel", is what God is explaining at this..

Salvation is Grace through FAITH.......= "lest any person will BOAST"...

So, when you read or hear someone ranting about "Losing it", or...>""""you MUST KEEP THE ....whatever""""....they are become..>"look at me, see me trying to save myself, = BOASTING".

What you defined believer
Believe Jesus as God but don't believe His teaching or believe His teaching ?

The believer is defined by becoming a "new Creation" "in Christ"....born again.

Being born again is the only proof of Salvation.

See, a person can FAKE being a Christian......>"fake fruit".
But you can't fake being born again.

why can't you answer her question?

Anyone who would read what you posted would think you believed what she thought, Because of what you said.

You should stop thinking everyone understand what you say and be more humble

Agree not self effort, but effort than Jesus help

John 15
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciple

Remain in me! This is command friend
We can not bear fruit of ourself it is a promise
Jesus produce fruit and we bear but it is a command to remain in Him

No fruit thrown to the fire and burn verse 6 it not only stop being disciple but save it is burn or not save

So does born again if it is fake God know

John 15
5 “I am the vine;

Remain in me!

Jesus is the vine.

How do you get INTO Jesus. ?
Works?
Water baptism?
Praying to mary?

The way you get INTO Jesus.........to become this....>"in Christ".....is to be IN the VINE.
How do you get into Christ?

A.) Jesus said.....>"you must be born again"..

So, to be IN the VINE, is to be born again into the Spirit of God....as this is defined as being "In Christ"

"abiding IN the vine"......is to be born again into the Spirit of God, as "In Christ".

You "ABIDE" IN THE VINE, by being a part of the Vine, as "born again".

To me murder is practice murder

There is only one sin that isn't paid for by the blood of Jesus, 2000 yrs ago.

What is that sin?

Dying a Christ rejector. .... = John 3:36.

Why is this sin the unpardonable sin?
Because you rejected pardon. You rejected forgiveness.
How can God forgive you with the Blood of Jesus, is you REJECT CHRIST?
See it?
That is the unpardonable sin, and a born again Christian can't commit that one, as they have already been born again, which proves they didn't reject Christ.
