They hate because they know inside it is right. Which makes them angry because in order to admit it. They would have to admit they are wrong.

A few pharisees did. So there is hope
truly

to 'convict' Christ they had to bring out false witnesses.

Supah ~ you state this on your bio:

Being saved is a process, not an immediate action.

How do you see that? It is my understanding that salvation is immediate, that is being born again (through the blood of Christ into God's family and having our sins forgiven) and after that, we are sanctified...which is a process that continues as long as we are alive on this earth
Amen,

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but by his mercy HE SAVED US.

Its not a process, its an ACT. The action is on God. Not us

The will of God is to stop sinning or you will not enter the kingdom of heaven - according to Jesus. Stop sinning. It is the will of God.
The born again, .......see that....>"born again".......
Born again into WHAT?

That is a spiritual birth INTO SOMETHING< LaVura

Into what?

A.) The Kingdom of God.

All the BORN.......AGAIN........are born again INTO the Kingdom of God.
"being translated from Darkness..........>>TO LIGHT"
That is what is meant by becoming.....> "ONE WITH GOD, in Christ".

Notice......"ONE WITH GOD".

See that? That's not symbolic......that is literally to be born again, by the Spirit of God......into the Spirit of God.

Result? = to exist IN the Kingdom of God.

Am I not to believe that being saved is something that is ongoing until it is complete? When we start a race, we don't immediately win just because we participate, we must see it through until the end. Are we not told to endure, hold fast to our faith?

If you are born again, you dont have to worry about that one.
or the unpardonable sin.
or "depart from me i never knew you'
or, "you wont be forgiven in this world or the one to come"
or, "if you sin willfully'.

You know, all the verses you dont understand, that you falsely use against the Cross of Christ, to try to convince a real believer that the Blood of God is only as good as they are.....

Salvation can’t be earned, it’s a gift of God

how can you earn a gift?

Not sure where I stated salvation must be earned.

I'm really starting to get the feeling I'm not welcome here...
It's like one thing after another. Tell you what, if someone would kindly tell me how to delete my account, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These two verses are speaking of people who are under the belief that they are in a righteous relationship with Christ and are living to the best of their abilities through Him. Some will prophesy, some will cast out devils and others will believe they are doing the will of the Father because of their works. They are convinced that they are in good standing with Christ. What of their salvation? What of their rebirth? Christ will reject them because he never knew them. They are lawless and lack intimacy with God.
I'm probably going to get the stuffing beat out of me for saying this...

But I agree...this passage is pretty alarming. There are people right now living their life thinking they are going to make it and will not. Now that is pretty scary to me.

Another thing that concerns me with this passage... is how on earth is an "unsaved" person going to do those works mentioned.

I mean, how could an unsaved person cast out devils and prophesy. To truly do those types of work it would take the spirit of God and Jesus didn't say that they were false prophets or falsely casting out devils.

Matthew 12
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

Then i am confused. You state it is like a race wer in in which we must finish, that WE must endure and WE must hold fast.

Unless your not talking about salvation what then are you talking about? Maybe I misunderstood you.

I just have one question.

he said, Depart from me FOR I NEVER KNEW YOU. He also said, THEY PRACTICED UNRIGHTEOUSNESS

How can this be true if they were saved.

As to your comments, Just because they said they did those things doe not mean they did. And jesus never confirmed they did.

I have been speaking very plainly here. But again, I will try to get my view across.

Very simply, using myself as an example, I'm in the process of being saved. He has not returned, so, my salvation is ongoing.
When we enter eternity with Christ, what are we being saved from? Nothing. Our salvation is complete at that point.

So, I would think it is safe to assume that salvation is an ongoing process until that time has come.
I don't honestly know how to word it any more clearly than that.

As I said it does really concern me and I don't know for sure....He never said that their works were false, though and that is what is concerning.

Ezekiel 18
23Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Lord GOD. Wouldn’t I prefer that he turn from his ways and live? 24But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and practices iniquity, committing the same abominations as the wicked, will he live? None of the righteous acts he did will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness and sin he has committed, he will die. 25Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear now, O house of Israel: Is it My way that is unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

Ok, but then why do we need to run the race? To make sure we are saved in the end?

It’s not concerning if we realise him say8mg he never knew them means he never knew them, because they were never born not Gods family and they practiced sin because they never knew God either. as john said, he who sins has never seen of known God.
