Could Cain have married someone he was related ? Yes that is possible but does the scriptures say that Cain married someone related to him ? The scriptures does not say either way, so one therefore can only assume, as one can not prove anything one way or another. Adam had sons and daughters after Seth, not before Seth, Seth was a replacement for the loss of Abel, therefore Cain already killed Abel before Seth was born, Cain went east and took a wife, Seth was born and after Seth, Adam had many sons and daughters. The odds of Cain taking a sister as a wife, would be zero to none.
Thank you!
That was plenty for me to see that you are scripturally stunted,
and therefore not worth wasting any more of my time on.
G'day.

You assume to much and when you base things on assumption, then you write your own story by adding, the bottom line is, the scriptures does not say who Cain married and that's a fact. So if you can show other wise, then please enlighten the world with the correct answer, the world wants to know, give facts not fiction and by all means don't assume ?

Can the fact that for example David and Salomon had many wives suggest that polygamy is ok?
No, read what Jesus said on the matter himself. What he says supersedes any example written in the Bible Old Testament or New.

Also remember this, that the Bible is unique in that it doesn't always portray the Old Testament characters in the best light. They were human, they made mistakes. Did the fact that King David had Uriah murdered make an example that murder is OK? Of coarse not. So don't take what they did always as examples of what is OK or not. Listen to the 10 commandments and Jesus and you can't go wrong.
