It has been my experience that there are two types of members of the Roman Catholic Church.

There are Catholic Catholics who follow the Pope, the order of service, and Mary, yet they almost never study the Bible.

AND

There are born again Christian Catholics who follow Jesus Christ as LORD, and study the Bible almost daily.

YES, the born again Christian Catholics are the few on the Narrow Road, but they still are there. I have known and spent a great deal of time discussing the Bible with two definitely born again Catholic Priests in my lifetime.

BUT the protestant side is equally filled with the non-born again Church members, who only know about Jesus, and in REALLY DO NOT KNOW JESUS PERSONALLY AND INTIMATELY AS LORD, MEANING MASTER. AMONG THEM YOU WILL ALSO FIND MANY FALSE PROPHETS LEADING PEOPLE ASTRAY. BENNY HINN AND THE REST OF THE WORD OF FAITH MOVEMENT are right at the top of the heap. BY THEIR FRUIT, YOU WILL KNOW THEM.

Is there any doubt what kind of fruit GREED is:

The only thing relevant in your post is the reference to Benny Hinn. He is of the same stripe as Lindsey, Walvoord and Ryrie, Impe and Hagee. Perveyors of false teachings.

Cassian, have you ever considered that you are the one who was DECEIVED with a LIE?

I have personally heard you quote our beliefs, totally wrong on several occasions. Obviously someone taught you those false statements about our beliefs. IS THAT NOT A LIE?
Quote anything that I stated as false?

I know that what I believe is of the Holy Spirit. What I believe was believed from the beginning without change, addition or subtraction. Man has tried valiantly to change that Revelation that He is preserving within His Body, the Church. You, on the other hand, relative to premillennialism have adopted a man made theory. A theory that was never given by the Holy Spirit, thus never held as a part of the original revelation to be preserved.

And we are gentiles as the very word of it gives its meaning
from the times of ancient
Isaiah: 63. 16. For thou art our father, and Abraham hath not known us, and Israel hath been ignorant of us: thou, O Lord, art our father, our redeemer, from everlasting is thy name.

`∞` the only thing that most of us always forgot
to search the words in the scriptures
Luke: 24. 27. And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures, the things that were concerning him.

Matthew: 22. 29. And Jesus answering, said to them: You err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
30. For in the resurrection they shall neither marry nor be married; but shall be as the angels of God in heaven.
31. And concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken by God, saying to you:
32. I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

Mark: 12. 24. And Jesus answering, saith to them: Do ye not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
25. For when they shall rise again from the dead, they shall neither marry, nor be married, but are as the angels in heaven.
26. And as concerning the dead that they rise again, have you not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spoke to him, saying: I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27. He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You therefore do greatly err.

John: 2. 22. When therefore he was risen again from the dead, his disciples remembered, that he had said this, and they believed the scripture, and the word that Jesus had said.

John: 5. 39. Search the scriptures, for you think in them to have life everlasting; and the same are they that give testimony of me.

John: 17. 5. And now glorify thou me, O Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had, before the world was, with thee.
* . ... 17. Sanctify them in truth. Thy word is truth.

" HOW SHOULD WE THEY ANYONE BELIEVED SOMEONE WHO CANNOT EVEN ANSWER :haha:
SUCH QUESTIONS THAT MUST BE ANSWERED " BIBLICALLY " FIRST :sigh:
AND NOT BUY SELF OWN INTERPRETATIONS ONLY WHICH HAS
NO ENOUGH BASIS FROM THE GIVEN TASK :sigh:
FOR IF SOMEONE WANTS SOMEONES TO BELIEVED HIM/HER US/THEM
BEING A LIAR WONT DO GOOD TO HIM/HER US/THEM
ANYTHING AT ALL tsk tsk tsk

`` that those creature(s) does not only makes a fool of him/her/them/ selves

Acts: 4. 19. But Peter and John answering, said to them: If it be just in the sight of God, to hear you rather than God, judge ye.

Luke: 18. 1. AND he spoke also a parable to them, that we ought always to pray, and not to faint,
2. Saying: There was a judge in a certain city, who feared not God, nor regarded man.
3. And there was a certain widow in that city, and she came to him, saying: Avenge me of my adversary.
4. And he would not for a long time. But afterwards he said within himself: Although I fear not God, nor regard man, 5. Yet because this widow is troublesome to me, I will avenge her, lest continually coming she weary me.
6. And the Lord said: Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7. And will not God revenge his elect who cry to him day and night: and will he have patience in their regard?
8. I say to you, that he will quickly revenge them. But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?

John: 2. 23. Now when he was at Jerusalem, at the pasch, upon the festival day, many believed in his name, seeing his signs which he did.
24. But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,
25. And because he needed not that any should give testimony of man: for he knew what was in man.

Matthew: 4. 7. Jesus said to him: It is written again: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Dear Bowman, where you got the idea that col. 2,13-15 is speaking from Satan? In my greek bible there is nothing in this verses which shows that Satan is the subject. This vers 15 is telling from principalities and powers and not from Satan. And special nothing about bounding as it does in revelation. Which is often refered in this thread.

We have no problem understanding the Scriptures, we have the spirit of the author and the Holy Spirit in us to teach us what it means by what it says. You only interpret the Scriptures with what lies between your ears.

And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
16. Then Jesus answered and said: O unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
17. And Jesus rebuked him, and the devil went out of him, and the child was cured from that hour.
18. Then came the disciples to Jesus secretly, and said: Why could not we cast him out?
19. Jesus said to them: Because of your unbelief. For, amen I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove from hence hither, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

John: 14. 29. And now I have told you before it comes to pass: that when it shall come to pass, you may believe. 30. I will not now speak many things with you. For the prince of this world cometh, and in me he hath not any thing.

Here is the rational for this passage pertaining to Satan:

· The closest preceding nominative (subject) word to ‘He has taken him out of the way’ is the word ‘hypenantion’, rendered as ‘adversary’.

· ‘Adversary’ is singular.

· The only other inflection of this word, in the entire NT, is in the plural term ‘hypenantious’ and is used in Heb 10.27 in the context of a fiery judgment for the ‘adversaries’.

· Clearly, the singular ‘hypenantion’ is Satan; and the plural ‘adversaries’ are the demons.

· The singular neuter personal pronoun ‘auto’ which follows it, can, and does, apply to ‘him’.

· Juxtaposed to this is the conquering of evil in in the statements of disarming ‘the rulers and the powers’, which are evil spirits.

· This public display, at The Cross, is referred to using the term ‘thriambeusas’, triumphing, which carries the meaning, ‘I lead one as my prisoner in a triumphant procession’.

· Clearly, and unmistakably, the reader is informed that Satan was bound as a prisoner at The Cross.

Dear Bowman, regarding Col. 2,13-15; I dont know which Bibel you use. I used different german translations and also KJV.In all this translations "has taken him out of the way" from the gramatic rules, is regarding to "handwriting o ordinances" χειρόγραφον (KJV) and not to any person. So if you take a person instead of this, there is no scripture which proof this.

Very true for he was bound whilst Jesus walked this earth. Matt 12.28-29. I would prefer to believe Jesus' view rather than the clever imaginations of chat members.

If Scripture appears to conflict with this we are misinterpreting Scripture.
So if he was bound while Jesus was here who was it that tempted him in the wilderness, offering him all the kingdoms of the earth? There is no room for misinterpretation there because only the Devil could have made such an offer.

Dear Valliant, i am sorry, but non of this verses says that we are ruling now with the Lord
Ephesians 2,5-6 speaks from a status which we have in Jesus, but according vers 7 this will reveal in future. And it must mean anyhow in a miraculus way which we can not understand, as 2. Cor. 5,17 says we are a new creature.

Rom: 5,17 speaks about ruling, but says nothing about yet, but in future:
will rule = βασιλεύσουσιν

Rev. 5.10 is also saying will rule (on earth) βασιλεύσουσιν

Col. 3.1: is speaking that we are risen with the Lord, who is sitting on the right hand of God. Nothing about that we are ruling now.

Eph. 1,19-2,1 is saying nothing about our ruling, but about ths Lords status and our status which we have now and which wee had before we became christians.

Rev. 20,4 is not speaking from us, but from the dead which die for their trust in Jesus during the antichrist ruling time (tribulation time) This is also in the future and not now.

So you cant convince me from the scripture that your view that we are ruling now is correct. Ore are you ruling now?

may we ask again please
Question: how come there's no written record of "LUCIFER"
IN THE OLD TESTAMENT?

AND WHY CHRIST JESUS TOLD DIFFERENT FORM OF EVIL
IN THIS SCRIPTURE
Luke: 11. 18. And if Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because you say, that through Beelzebub I cast out devils.
19. Now if I cast out devils by Beelzebub; by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

WE CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SATAN AND BEELZEBUB

Simple logic......
If Satan were bound and unable to influence humankind, we would be relieved of his influence.
He is still today active and very much creating chaos....
(1 Peter 5:8) . . .Keep your senses, be watchful! Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone. . .

Once abyssed he will no longer have influence over humankind for the thousand years of peace provided with the oversight of Christ as King ruling from the heavens.
