I have a couple of flat topographical maps and an atlas. They are flat. When traveling through the hills of West Virginia, winding down mountains and hiking hills, it's anything but flat. I've heard things like the United Nations symbol/ "map" is proof that the earth is flat. That's why it seems funny. I don't want to troll my flat earth believing friends. I've met a few in my area that treat it like a religious dogma. They take it more seriously than the fundamental doctrines of the faith, yet tell us that people won't get saved unless they are convinced of their theory. I haven't heard that here yet, but I've heard it. Any clues why there's such passion about this one topic?
