If we live in a holographic universe (as I think we do), how do you measure time and distance in a hologram? Is everything just an illusion? The bible seems to say we are not living in the real world. What do you think?
An interesting hypothetical. None the less I believe that God can not lie and that the Scriptures are inspired. Since there is no verse I am aware of that hints that creation is 'holographic' (did you mean 'virtual'?) I don't feel there is an answer in Scripture starting from an untrue proposition. There are verses which if taken at plain reading indicate an actual physicality to the universe. Thus the verses indicating physicality would be untrue and either Titus 1:2 and/or 2 Tim. 3:16-17 would be false. I don't think a mature Believer/Member of the Body of Christ would ever hold to such a position.

Supporting/referenced scriptures:

Titus 1:2 [...] God, who cannot lie [...]

2 Tim 3:
16 Every scripture [is] divinely inspired, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness;
17 that the man of (*) God may be complete, fully fitted to every good work.

Genesis 1:1 and following [omitted for brevity].
