I guess you didn't put me on Ignore.

Step up and tell us all what the "explicit warning given by Jesus" is, that I am allegedly ignoring. Then, given the post of mine that you quoted, tell us all the Scripture where Jesus says, "The generation that sees these signs...".

Surely you know them by heart, since you are so confident.
I will not tell you anything other than to give you a warning that you are in grave jeopardy. As are all preterists.

Jesus didn't say, "The generation that sees these signs..."; He said, "This generation....".
Your claim is false
Here are twenty English translations of Matthew 24:34, including your vaunted KJV, that prove your statement wrong:

ASV Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.

AMP I assure you and most solemnly say to you, this generation [the people living when these signs and events begin] will not pass away until all these things take place.

CEV I can promise you that some of the people of this generation will still be alive when all this happens.

DARBY Verily I say to you, This generation will not have passed away until all these things shall have taken place.

ESV Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

GNV Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

GW “I can guarantee this truth: This generation will not disappear until all these things take place.

HCSB I assure you: This generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place.

JUB Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled.

KJV Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

MOUNCE I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away · until all these things take place.

NASB Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

NASB1995 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

NIV Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

NKJV Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

NLT I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place.

NRSV Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place.

RSV Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away till all these things take place.

WYC Truly I say to you, for this generation shall not pass, till all things be done;

YLT Verily I say to you, this generation may not pass away till all these may come to pass.

I did not say nor did I suggest that all ethnic Jews in Israel will be saved. Two thirds will definitely perish in the Great Tribulation. The remnant will be the beneficiaries of the promises made to king David and Abraham. For an EARTHY kingdom ruled by Christ. First for 1000 years in a renewed earth, from earthly Jerusalem ruled by Jesus and David and the Saints. Populated by Jews (all of which will be renewed and redeemed and saved......without exception), and the remnant of the gentiles, some of whom will be redeemed and some of whom will not be redeemed. After the thousand years there will be a final war then a final judgment.

Only then will the heavens and earth be annihilated in fire and a new heavens and new earth created.

This is end-time eschatology 101. Everybody should know it by now.
Your Claim Is False, This Earth Will Be Dissolved By The Lords Fire In Final Judgement At His Revealing, There Will Be No Earth In Existence For Your Claimed Millennial Kingdom.

Luke 17:29-30KJV

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

2 Peter 3:10-11KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

You said that my "claim", in which I stated that Jesus said, "This generation..." and not, "The generation that sees these things...", was false. I demonstrated that it is in fact true, with an overwhelming abundance of evidence.

Now, it is on you to prove that Jesus did not actually say, "This generation". That is the only possible way you can redeem your assertion that my claim is false. Of course, you can retract it, but I doubt you have the integrity to do so.

When you want to get back to discussing Scripture, let me know.
Your wish is my command.

Zech 14:16
And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

https://biblehub.com/nkjv/zechariah/14.htm

There is no preterist on the planet that can twist ch14 to suit their heretical whims. This chapter is 100% PREMILLENIAL....without doubt. It matches perfectly with the vast compendium of likeminded Scripture.

I only expect another back of the hand one liner from you. Yes it will be painful and humiliating. Such it was for the prophets of old, so it is for us the Redeemed today.

And? Does it prove that Jesus did not say "This generation..." in Matthew 24:34?

No.

No.
If that misconstrued verse is supporting your entire preterist edifice, I hope you have insurance.

Uh huh.

Dude, your attitude stinks almost as badly as your hypocrisy. Maybe you need to spend more time with Jesus instead of arguing about His word. Have a nice day.

The end has always been near and the day of the Lord is "at hand" and "hastes greatly" and this is true for all times. I don't mean to bash the OP, but can we leave daily politics out of BDF? We have News. When the end comes, the kind that people are afraid of, we won't be hanging out on BDF discussing online.

Another contemptible slap in the face by one-liner Dino. Because that's about all you've got.

You are not arguing with me Dino. You are you arguing with Zachariah ch 14. And believe me you are losing big time. And you will never win.

Yes I agree. Nuclear weapons are definitely in view here. Strangely, I don't see any preterists or
amillennialists chiming in with an opinion that makes any sense on this particular portion of Scripture. I mean how in the world are you going to allegorize away Ezekiel 38-39?

There is no argument regarding the words (This Generation)

The argument is, did these events in Matthew 24 take place in the 1st century AD, in Relationship to the generation Jesus spoke to?

As is clearly seen below, (This Generation) applies to a (Future) generation that will be eyewitnesses to the (Future) events that haven't taken place.

(This Generation Shall Not Pass, Till All These Things Be Fulfilled)?

This includes the (Second Coming) seen in verses 29-30 below, a (Future) event unfulfilled, a future generation will witness this event.

Verse 33: What is near, even at the doors, the (Second Coming)

Verse 36: What is the day and hour no man knows, the (Second Coming)

Matthew 24:29-36KJV

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

While you're at it, please put these verses through your preterist meat grinder.
I mean to me this has premillennial written all over it........
No no one-liners or artful dodging Dino. Let's hear you defend your position. If you can.
And don't deny being a preterist. You have openly admitted it many many times.

Matt 24
29“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His [d]elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
