this guy may say he is not Calvinist, but I see nothing to dispute that he actually is

the op is so convoluted as to seem to be one way while actually being another
I sure dont follow his logic.

He is not plain in his expression.

Salvation is a covenant. Involves 2 parties.

and here we go

where has anyone said they save themselves?

nowhere. that's where

that is just you trying to confuse the issue

salvation comes by Christ and no other
The job offer gospel must be accepted before salvation happens. = people save themselves.

yup

backdoor Calvinism

if you say you cannot choose Christ, then you are agreeing with Calvinism. simple as that

yet, the gospel says 'whosoever will may come'

do you understand what the will is?
Calvinism is the spec sheet on sin and grace. You cannot understand them without the specs.

= a job off that pays with salvation.
Actually, it’s the opposite of a job offer. The offer the Lord provides is to stop working for your salvation but allow What I accomplished on the cross to do the work for you.

only if you choose to come to work for him. Which certainly is not biblically sound.

To labor for the Lord is not biblical?

2 Corinthians 5
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

But if you are not saved until you pony up with obedience, it's a job offer.

“He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 16:15–17 (KJV 1900)
Yep. And?

He reveals to all. Thus no one has an excuse

But only if you let him?
This is a nonsensical question

When someone offers you a gift
do you let them
Or do you receive (or reject) the gift

We must be humble and say I don't know if it is or not. And not draw conclusions based on our misunderstanding.
The spec sheet on sin and Grace is the scripture themselves. Calvin was a human with his own ideas and many of them quite wrong. Much like the rest of us. I agree with Calvin on 2 things. 1 salvation in a work of God by his sovereign grace, not by the work or will of any man. And 2 that the depraved or unregenerate man can no more choose God than a dead man can choose to get up and walk. From there we part ways.
