If a Christian was conscious of Righteousness they would be following Righteousness.

Stealing and all the other stuff you listed is not Righteousness. It is the RESULT of sin consciousness.

Romans 7:6-7
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

The only reason this is considered as "crazy thinking" is because so few really understand the New Covenant and even less teach it.

Rightly divide the word...
Im really not interested Grandpa. I joined this website for sensible debate, that is not possible with someone who holds to your views.

I guess John wasn't as enlightened as Grandpa:

If we claim to be without sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us 1John1:8

You can only admit you have it if you are conscious of it

I know. You can't fathom it.

All you can understand is sin consciousness.

That's why there are so many Judaizers and Legalists in Christianity that distort Real Christianity into weird legalism. It is obviously a really big trap because so many have fallen into it. Its kind of sad.

Well, you can't say no one ever tried....

All you have to do is turn from Righteousness for 1 second to examine yourself and you will know you are not without sin.

No, I cannot say you did not try to get me to accept God would not want a believer to be conscious they sinned if they committed adultery, murdered, coveted, bore false witness, stole, had other gods before their father in Heaven, took the Lords name in vain

This is the problem when you cannot rightly divide the word, in order to cling to your misguided beliefs you have to come to crazy conclusions. Better to admit to error, but alas

Instead of dealing rationally with disagreements, just dismiss the other person with an insult coded in biblical jargon. It's much easier, requires no thought whatsoever, and gives one the feeling of smug superiority while actually edifying neither.

Well if you think I am going to waste my time debating anyone who believes God would not want you to be conscious of sin if you took the Lords name in vain, had other gods before your Father in Heaven, stole, murdered, coveted, bore false witness you are sadly mistaken

Jesus said to the scribes and Pharisees,
"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (Joh 8:44 KJV)

They kept the devils Mitzvot laws.

1 Timothy 4
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; AND WORSE!

This "man" (and, I use the term loosely here), has obviously "Pooped in his drawers!" And, having been forced in the living his life in this fashion. Instead of admitting his sin? Feels himself justified in his running around and "stinking up the place!"
He's not looking for "sensible" debate, by any means! He's seeking "justification!" That he is performing a "righteous act" in his doing so!

Of the which, many here already know this.

Goodly people of the faith can, and should expect more of these kinds, as their "70 weeks" draws closer to their "FINAL NAILS" in their coffins!

I don't waste my time wondering how you're going to spend yours. :)
