Saying (quite a few times) that Adam and Eve ate an apple (which caused the fall of man).

You can do a search for the word "apple" of Blik's post stream and see how often she has done this.

Here is one example:

Whereas Scripture says no such thing. Let's call it what Scripture does: the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Putting Satan's words in God's mouth and vice versa.

Claiming someone is in error when what they have done is post Scripture :censored:
NOW! Apple trees are of the devil?

Even though it is against what we are told by the lord to do, we are not to be an enemy of anyone who declares they take Christ as their Savior as both you and I have done, you have acted as my enemy, but this post tops any of your other post that positions yourself as an enemy.

Using an apple tree to promote accusing of being of the devil!! Wow.

I think some people want to abolish commandments so they can compromise with the world.
This indicates the limited extent of your understanding. I have already told you that your position is a false dichotomy, but you haven't learned.

Do you really think that the only two possibilities are "Follow the law" or "Be a profligate sinner"?

You completely missed the point once again, Blik, and once again, falsely accuse me. You specifically asked to name one thing that you have posted that is not scripture based. I complied with more than one example, and even gave a direct link. I get that you don't like being shown where you are in error, but to go to the lengths you do to condemn and falsely accuse me as you do shows a spirit that is not aligned with truth at all. How nice for you to have a new fan who lies on your behalf while you break the commandments and bear false witness.

Let me ask you this do you think your faith is to produce obedience to God's will or disobedience which is dead faith? And you don't follow law you follow and live in Christ.

I just did a search of the word "apple" on Biblegateway.com

There are 11 instances in KJV, none in Genesis.

And none of the others refer back to Genesis either.

7 Bible results for “apple” from Young's Literal Translation.

Three are from Genesis, but have nothing to do with Adam and Eve and the fall of man.

10 Bible results for “apple” from New American Standard Bible.

Again, none from Genesis, nor referring back to Genesis.

10 Bible results for “apple” from New International Version.

Guess what? None from or referring back to Genesis.

There is no apple tree mentioned in Genesis in relation to Adam and Eve.

There is no apple mentioned in Genesis in relation to Adam and Eve.

There is nothing in Scripture to justify saying Adam and Eve ate apple and caused the fall of man.

They ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

How you @Blik got from that, that I was using an apple tree to promote accusing of being of the devil!! Wow.

Yes, Wow. Wow indeed, Blik

I have you on ignore because all your posts are those of an enemy, not of a fellow Christian who loves to discuss the Lord's ways.

I often find that you post scripture that does not relate to the post you are responding to, or that indicates something different, and you got terribly upset over this and have positioned yourself as, not a fellow Christian but someone who posts as an enemy, never to discuss differences in interpreting scripture.

So I will keep ignoring you unless you get so completely out of bounds that ignoring you is like ignoring a lion out to destroy me.

Clearly you are not ignoring me as you keep saying you are.

I think it is must be you who are terribly upset since you falsely accuse me without end.

I am not upset. Saddened that you are so self-deceived, yes.

You made yourself an enemy because you cannot accept correction.

Somehow it gets blown all out of proportion in your mind.

I am not amused to witness you going off the deep end so often.

Nice way to avoid the truth of what I say just say Amen it's so whether you do or not. Everything I say is from scripture all you do is say it's false with no scripture to prove otherwise because you can't refute the truth.

Yeah, see, this is what I mean... since I said nothing of the sort, but Blik comes back at me with this, as if I did :oops::rolleyes:
And are you not bearing false witness on me accusing me of telling lies.

Shall I school you in proper punctuation, as well as logic and sound biblical interpretation?

Everything I say is from scripture
That's odd; nothing in your post 369 is from Scripture. Nothing in 364 either. Maybe you have a strange definition for "everything".

all you do is say it's false with no scripture to prove otherwise because you can't refute the truth.
You clearly don't read too well, and you clearly don't understand the nature of logic. "Fallacy" and "false" are not the same word, and they are not synonyms. Do your homework.

No. Since you have claimed more than once that "blik follows Christ and(/or)
keeps his commandents" (sic) when she repeatedly bears false witness.

FYI? Bearing false witness is not keeping His commandments.

How good of you to acknowledge it was you being referred to.

But how wrong in your assumptions.

Again no scripture all you do is put down my spelling and say my beliefs are in error so go back read all of my posts and try and prove me in error with scripture you can't because you can't refute the truth.

Tell me, is teaching that Adam and Eve ate an apple which then caused the fall of man Scriptural, or not?

And when someone says:

Name one thing that I have posted that is not scripture based.
When someone invites that, and then are shown where they are promoting
things not in Scripture, would you not then show them their error?

Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Not once is it identified as an apple tree.

Yet Blik has named it thus multiple times.

But instead of acknowledging her error, she goes on tirades against me.

Well, you said it: "Again, no Scripture." Don't be so quick to make all-encompassing statements like "Everything I say is from Scripture".

I haven't addressed your spelling; at least, not recently. Your punctuation, however, is almost non-existent. Maybe try emulating the punctuation you find in the Scripture that you allegedly read.

Your interpretation of Scripture is not "truth". Scripture is truth; your interpretation is your interpretation, which may or may not be consistent with the truth of Scripture.

If Jesus was alive in the body today and came to tell you as is quoted in Matthew and John, would you answer Him as you answer posts about obedience?

Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The only way to repent is to want to obey the law.

John_15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Any post that is quoted here gets this sort of response, always bringing in something against what Christ tells us, and saying they are right and it is wrong to believe these things Christ said. There are even posts saying that obeying the law is not obeying the real law, for the real law is always of love. It is as if they think the law of the Lord is without love.

The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth, and what are you a schoolteacher always nagging about punctuation.
