This is a great preaching point in John. The blood of Jesus cleanses us of all sin. But if we are to think we don't need Jesus because we are not sinners, we are deceiving ourselves. We're made to understand that the mortal material mind has a dead future. But to be redeemed in Christ and have a spiritual nature gives us hope in service with God.
