Hebrews 6:4-6
English Standard Version (ESV)
4 For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.

how can one look at these verses and say that these people were never saved.

They were once enlightened, they tasted of the heavenly gift, they have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted of the goodness of the word of God, and you're telling me they were never saved? It says they fell away. They couldn't have fallen from someplace they had never been. It is quite simple.
Don't you have a Bible that goes through 6:9 where the punch line is?

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:

All those things could apply to Judas, who had a demon, probably even from the time he was picked to be an apostle.
that at scripture does absolutely nothing to support your ES theory. And I ask you again, after reviewing the verse above are you still telling me that these people were not Christians? If you say no then you're going to look foolish, if you say yes then you admit that he ES is not true.

I did not say that; you make things up. I say there are persons who actually trust Christ as Savior vs. those who only play church, professed Christians; these do not believe in the sense of trusting Christ as Savior, though they may believe facts, like the demons do about God. But they never (like yourself from all evidence) ever trusted Christ as Savior; like religious Nicodemus was told, you must be born again. Cassian, look in the mirror.

Heb 6 describes the two, commenting in 6:9 how the author is convinced of better things that apply to them, things that accompany salvation, in contrast with the professors before.

1 John 2 describes them. Apostates were never in the Church.
"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us."

You should

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

include

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

vs 11-12

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

which emphatically

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

denies OSAS.

No it does not!

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

If OSAS were in fact scriptural,

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

those verses are pure nonsense

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

and just wasted verbiage. [nonsense!]

How can a warning vs mere profession be wasted verbiage?

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

It is God's power

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

but it is ONLY through

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

Man's faith.

So, when are you going to put your faith in the Lord Jesus as your only & sufficient Savior? When will you trust Him with your destiny?
You can't get to Heaven without doing that.
I didn't expect you to actually agree with scripture. You have proven beyond any doubt that you will do anything and everything to change, modify, add, subtract from scripture to make your false theory work. It is quite illuminating just how many ways you have used to make ES fit. YOu have practically excluded most of the NT and thus have your isolated texts which is how all false teachers function. It is the theory above all else. The more you try to make it fit the more foolish you appear.

HAVE A FEW ISOLATED SCRIPTURES:

Rom 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

Rom 3:21-30

But now apart from the law a righteousness of God hath been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction; 23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God; 26 for the showing, I say, of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus. 27 Where then is the glorying? It is excluded. By what manner of law? of works? Nay: but by a law of faith. 28 We reckon therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yea, of Gentiles also: 30 if so be that God is one, and he shall justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through faith.

Rom 4:1ff

:1 What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, hath found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not toward God. 3 For what saith the scripture? And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him who works, the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but as of debt. 5 But to him that works not, but believeth on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness. 6 Even as David also pronounces blessing upon the man, to whom God reckons righteousness apart from works, 7 saying,
Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven,
And whose sins are covered.
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not reckon sin.

9 Is this blessing then pronounced upon the circumcision, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say, To Abraham his faith was reckoned for righteousness. 10 How then was it reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision: 11 and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while he was in uncircumcision: that he might be the father of all them who believe, though they be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might be reckoned unto them; 12 and the father of circumcision to them who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham which he had in uncircumcision.

13 For not through the law was the promise to Abraham or to his seed that he should be heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they that are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of none effect: 15 for the law works wrath; but where there is no law, neither is there transgression. 16 For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were. 18 Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall thy seed be.

19
And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; 20 yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 Wherefore also it was reckoned unto him for righteousness.

Rom 5:1-2
Being therefore justified by faith, let us have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and let us boast in hope of the glory of God.
Rom 9:30:
What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith: but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by works. They stumbled at the stone of stumbling; even as it is written,
Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence:
And he who believes on him shall not be put to shame.

Rom 10:4ff

For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby. But the righteousness which is of faith says thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down:) or, Who shall descend into the abyss? (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

"Faith", "through faith", and "things that accompany" should be understood, so that we do not misunderstand scripture.

Hebrews 6:1-12
Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, [SUP]2 [/SUP]of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And this we will do, if God permits. [SUP]4 [/SUP]For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, [SUP]5 [/SUP]and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, [SUP]6 [/SUP]and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame. [SUP]7 [/SUP]For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; [SUP]8 [/SUP]but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.[h=3][/h][SUP]9 [/SUP]But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, and things that accompany salvation, though we are speaking in this way. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints. [SUP]11 [/SUP]And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, [SUP]12 [/SUP]so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Another foolish attempt. You cite several that deal with Justification by faith, but the rest all deal with faith, from faith to faith and through faith. All phrases that categorically deny OSAS, since there are almost 200+ texts that state man can lose faith, thus not inherit eternal life. God ONLY works through our faith, no faith, no eternal life.

You are certainly welcome to try again. Repeating it often does not change that it is a false teaching.

Radius radiated:

" didn't read the 54 pages, but has anyone said HOW MUCH/MANY good works/repentance is needed to be FULLY saved. I need to pick up one of those good works measurement thingies after work tomorrow to keep track."

The answer to dear Radius is approximately as below, but to do enough works requires completely it to the exact amount, going beyond what I post:

While your statement is true Jesus is still saying Follow me and sin no more or has his message changed?
John 8:10-12

King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
[SUP]11 [/SUP]She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

[SUP]12 [/SUP]Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 5:13-15

King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]13 [/SUP]And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

[SUP]15 [/SUP]The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
Amazing Newbirth, how you used the old Birth in and of carnal nature, to sin no more, and oh boy, I would nor ever wsnt to sin again, if that were me, being told to not sin anymore. I think she probably did sin again, just as you have, I have, Paul had, Peter had, John had, even after being born again. Why? Our flesh nature is not redeemed and yet born again

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

[h=3]Philippians 3:10-21[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [SUP]11 [/SUP]if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. [SUP]12 [/SUP]Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. [SUP]13 [/SUP]Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [SUP]14 [/SUP]I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. [SUP]18 [/SUP](For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: [SUP]19 [/SUP]whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) [SUP]20 [/SUP]For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [SUP]21 [/SUP]who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Did Paul ever become perfect in and of himself ever? Did Peter, did James, Jude, Luke, Mark, Matthew Abraham, Noah, Jonah or any of the First Testament saints or the second Testament Saints.
Why Did the Disciples have to wait if they could be perfect and expel the whole Gospel of Christ? Do you see your own flesh in the way? And now others also.
Peter kill, and eat? What does that mean? What needs killed in each and every one of us? Could it be our own flesh?
Philippians 3:3
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Would that not be our own? to let go and trust God to do through us as Christ did? Or do we just have to have a piece of the pie, by our dung, as Saul was doing as Saul. Who if walked by flesh , had and would have more reason to boast you think?
And yes from God through Paul, this is meant to harm your precious flesh nature, love you Brother
Philippians 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

If one wants to see the truth it is always there as promised
Matthew 10:22

King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]22 [/SUP]And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

This brings to mind Judas Iscariot who was one of the twelve given power to heal and cast out devils.
Matthew 10

King James Version (KJV)

10 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Are you trying to be hated to prove yourself approved?
Romans 14:18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

So in interpreting this by flesh carnal nature, we now have sects, I am right, my group I worship with is right, I am now closed minded and make enemies with others, except those only in my accepted group.

And we as flesh carnal, weak people, call ourselves different I wonder, and can only see me if I am as the rest of the Human nature in only loving those that love me
[h=3]Luke 6:32[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]32 [/SUP]For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

Oh and so it is not sole-scripture, read the whole Chapter and ask Father for the meaning and see self as filthy rags. and yell, beg, plead for the Mercy, and then maybe pour out this Mercy to others in real love, not the intellectual BS, please it is for your good
Re-read over and over Phil 3.
No matter everyone's choice to be humble and stat humbled or not

Neither does scripture say that we are saved by "faith alone".
Romans 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Romans 2:13 (for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Can anyone other than Christ do the Law perfectly, and be perfect?

So then see please past the stubborn carnal self mindedness as babes and move unto maturity if god permits this it will be, I know and trust, God to carry on the good work God started in anyone that believes.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.

And yes fro anyone to say they beleive and does not do the works of love per 1 Cor 13:4-13, has not believed complete or does not beleive at all, and I am thankful for iot to be God to sort this out, not me, you or anyone else:

Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Thank you Lord that one and many that do believe can and will rest in you by you, and in this rest do so much more that they did before in and of themselves in a Joy, peace and a rest unfathomable to Human flesh, where one needs to see:

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

you see what you want to see.How many ends are there...what is the purpose of salvation if not for eternal life. Your problem is you are saved before you endure to the end. But the scripture says
Matthew 10:22

King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]22 [/SUP]And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
I am no scholar so you can check this in the Greek.
1 Corinthians 1:17-19

New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]17 [/SUP]For Christ did not send me to baptize,[SUP](A)[/SUP] but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom[SUP](B)[/SUP] and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For the message of the cross is foolishness[SUP](C)[/SUP] to those who are perishing,[SUP](D)[/SUP] but to us who are being saved[SUP](E)[/SUP] it is the power of God.[SUP](F)[/SUP] [SUP]19 [/SUP]For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
Everyone one when fiorst born in this Human flesh nature, sees what only they want to see. Waht they desire, so in a nutshell
Self-serving
Serving others as what I need
Serving God alone that does love us all. First knocking out our own board in our own eye, to see to remove the speck in our neighbors eye. how haughty, naughty, of our own selfishness you think?
It is all God, Christ the Son is risen and lives forever more, and comes to the ones that beleive to live in them as if they are perfect when we all know we are not, therefore I die daily to me daily as if I am not alive so that the power of God rests upon me, in all humility, praying you all get it
The mystery of the Gospel since time began
[h=3]Colossians 1:23[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]23 [/SUP]if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
How you doing with that yourself Brother, you got something there to share how to not ever sin again, predicting future, or can you or I or anyone predict future events?
i truly never want to sin again, yet have not found out how to keep completely from it, except have learned not to harm neighbor, yet have bad thoughts still from time to time, and have unintentionally harmed others. while in anger when things don't go the way I think they should
please share, for I do not ever want to sin again, and you too I think, please?

Another foolish attempt [foolish is human pontification without scripture]. You cite several that deal with Justification by faith, but the rest all deal with faith, from faith to faith and through faith.[salvation through faith alone] All phrases that categorically deny [false] OSAS, since there are almost 200+ texts [false!] that state man can lose faith,[false] thus not inherit eternal life. God ONLY works through our faith, no faith, no eternal life. [so best trust the Lord Jesus for eternal life!]

Another foolish attempt.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

You cite several that deal with Justification by faith

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish,

but the rest all deal with faith, from faith to faith and through faith.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

All phrases that categorically deny OSAS,

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

since there are almost 200+ texts that state man can lose faith,

I give them e t e r n a l life, and they will n e v e r perish

thus not inherit eternal life.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

God ONLY works through our faith, no faith, no eternal life.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

You are certainly welcome to try again.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

Repeating it often

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

does not change that it is a false teaching.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish

As I stated earlier, a Christian from the 1st century to the current one would have understood clearly what I was stating. It has been the Gospel of Christ from the beginning.
That you cannot understand it as it was given and preserved is because you have been persuaded by false teachings, including OSAS.

I have heeded to God's word. You are the one that has adopted several man devised theories they imposed upon scripture which I have pointed out to you.

Until you remove your blinders you will never understand scripture.
You can hold to these views, but they are not what scripture has always taught. If you prefer you own intellectual theories and other men's theories you are certainly welcome to them. They are not for me. I trust and believe in Christ and His Gospel, not philosophies of men.
Attack, attack, danger Will Robinson, Danger and your up Atwood, are you going to attack back, are you going to walk by flesh nature?
Are you Cassian?

[h=3]1 Corinthians 3[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. [SUP]2 [/SUP]I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? [SUP]4 [/SUP]For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? [SUP]5 [/SUP]Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? [SUP]6 [/SUP]I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. [SUP]7 [/SUP]So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. [SUP]9 [/SUP]For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. [SUP]11 [/SUP]For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [SUP]12 [/SUP]Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; [SUP]13 [/SUP]every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. [SUP]14 [/SUP]If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. [SUP]15 [/SUP]If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? [SUP]17 [/SUP]If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Badge of servitude to satan and babylons merchants of the earth who buy sell loan and borrow with the stamp etching creation of servitude and subservience of the credit system a stamp etching that does SPEAK!
pixels...

sa 24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
Isa 24:2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
Isa 24:3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.
And those with Spiritual ears listen, God does not have any one better than the other from God's viewpoint. Maybe just maybe time to quit ignoring and doing our own thing, and passing by another Lazurus, that God has put at our gates, to care for as the rich man did, ignored God's calling, word in Luke 16, to feed God's sheep. Lazarus right there placed in front of him, had to walk around him or over him, placed right at this rich mans gate
Note: Who is the rich man, is he named? So it is you, you and you. And why is Lazarus named and not he rich man?
The rich man, as we all are rich in some way, and have what others do not have.
So when God places a Lazurus at your gate, what are you doing about or going to do about that? Ignore God or do as you know to do
What did the rich man go to hell for? Not doing the works, or for ignoring God in what to do, about whomever is placed at your gate for whatever reason
Maybe time to learn to discern, when to pick up and feed and when to walk by, God knows we do not do we?
And King Nebuchadnezzar had to learn by chewing the cud of the ground, did he not? So learn to listen in Spirit and truth from Father through Son maybe?

Good morning Homward.

"In many things we all stumble."
"He who has suffered in the flesh [to death] has ceased from sin.

Until you die, you will find yourself sinning. We are like Peter walking on the water take eyes off the Lord Jesus & stare at the waves, then we sink. He will reach down His arm and pull us up, not letting us drown. We must trust Him in order to have Him in the center (heart) and to be filled to all the fullness of God (Eph 3).

Let's sing is:

The hand of my Savior is strong,
And the arm of my Savior is long;
Through sunshine or rain,
In loss or in gain,
The blood flows from Calv'ry to cleanse every stain.

There's room at the cross for you.
There's room at the cross for you.
Tho millions have come,
There's still room for one,
Yes, there's room at the cross for you.

So here you are, a man who trusts the Lord Jesus as your SAvior, even trusts Him for eternal life (not just a chance at it). You are secure in Him. And that security does not lead you to want to sin at all, but to please your blessed Savior Who suffered so much to give us eternal life, & eventually everything.

The flesh lusts vs the Spirit
& the Spirit vs the flesh.

That process never ends in this life. The fact that the flesh has a strong desire (lust) & suggests it to us, is not sin; it is temptation. If we internalize it and make it our lust, then it becomes sin.

But the Christian life is not lived by concentrating on our sin or obsessing on it. We know Whom we must concentrate on; & He is much more delight to contemplate than our sin.

I will finish this in PM, Bro.

Have a great day.

Philippians 3:10-21

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

You think Christ had not the power to forgive sin then? Do you really know Christ? Will he ask you that which is not possible? Do you read scripture in faith? Do you really trust God?...
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Let go of your doctrine of man and see the light of Christ ...

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
