After death, we all know we meet Jesus whatsoever. But have any of you imagined how would a judgment look like? Is it different for each for us or same process for all? Personally, I imagined Jesus sitting on a throne looking rather angry for the sins I've made, as unsaved and saved both. (I have no idea why lol)

So, how do you guys imagine it? God gave us creativity and imagination, I'd like to see people's views and opinions :)

I don't think I could possibly understand God's reasoning when it comes to judgement. I trust it's infinitely superior in righteousness and mercy to anything we could come up with using our limited minds.

God will not be angry at us for our sins because we are forgiven. That is why Jesus died on the cross. We could ponder over what it will be like , but we will only know when we get there. I am looking forward to a hug, a smile and a brotherly kiss from my Brother. I personally think that we will be judged individually because we were given different personalities and uniqueness. I also think that we all will be judged equally, meaning that my sin is not worse than anyone elses. Sin is sin. We are God's children and He treats us as such.

As far as unbelievers, that is a different story. I don't want to be around to experience God's wrath He will have towards those who rejected Him.

The Righteous are not judged, according to scripture.

The Righteous are part of the First Resurrection, and bypass being judged....the Second Resurrection is reserved for those being judged...of which, die twice.

God will be at the angriest he has ever been on judgement day. It will be a frightening time. The ones that will be hit the hardest will be the ones that have no fear of it.

Is that why the Lord said such things as...
Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

I die and I am now before the throne. I am waiting for my public defender who has not yet shown up. I see the prosecutor and boy does he look mean.
The trial begins, and the prosecutor starts in and is saying all kinds of things against me that I have done prior to my death and being here now.
Then my public defender shows up in the room and sits next to me with his head bowed and not objecting to anything that this prosecuter is stating against me and I am worried oh boy UI am in trouble
Then the prosecuter rests his case and sitts down arrogantly. I am still worried
But then my public defender rises up and his robe starts flowing and as he stands he good morning Father, and I know as well as you know Father that_________________ he/she did all these things that Lucifer has accused him/her of. But thank you Father for you remmeber what I did not only for ____________ but for all the world and this one believed and from the time they believed your works by belief has come through in love to all others unconditionally, not as the world does.
Then the prosecuter stands again and says well ______________ did commit more sins this this and that.
Jesus stands up and states that after one has come to belief and received the Love that of you Father as in 1 cor. 13 and therefore all past sins are also wiped away as soon as they are past and Father you know as well as I know that ___________ never took advantage took for granted this amazing salvation that you and I provided through the cross.
The Judge raises the gavel and declares you the believer in him innocent and go on in to my kingdom
Psalm 100:4Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
As King David claimed before the cross ever came into place WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Therefore let us not:
Hebrews 2:3how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,

And all those that have rejected him will have known the truth period and will have had their chance to have changed their minds from unbelief to belief there will be no excuse none for God has by his Mercy given all the chance to repent and that is to change from unbelief to belief. This is what theHoly ghosts job is here today to do and is why the disciples had to wait for the Spirit of truth to come upon them and then by this and still going on today all will have had their knowing cahnce to be saved or not

I have always imagined meeting the savior differently. Without words, Jesus gives me a long, loving, hug and forgives me. That's as far as I've thought about it. Of course, in my imagination he's always about 7 feet tall, haha. Who knows?

And learn how to walk by Faith in him and thus say no to unrighteousness by receivng his righteousness and thus only stand in Father's righteousness, never any of our own as Paul so well said in Phillipians 3
[h=3]Philippians 3[/h]New Living Translation (NLT)

[h=3]The Priceless Value of Knowing Christ[/h]3 Whatever happens, my dear brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord. I never get tired of telling you these things, and I do it to safeguard your faith.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Watch out for those dogs, those people who do evil, those mutilators who say you must be circumcised to be saved. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who are truly circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We put no confidence in human effort, [SUP]4 [/SUP]though I could have confidence in my own effort if anyone could. Indeed, if others have reason for confidence in their own efforts, I have even more!

and read the rest of the story from Paul and why he can glory more in the flesh than anbyone else and yet he counts that all dung WOW!!!!!!!!

I beg to differ, God is not a tyrant for ll will have a conscience and know what they have chosen totally aware of it and ther will be no excuse for anyone. Therefore God will not be mad, for all will know me as he has said in the word from the least to the greatest and
Ephesians 4:13This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ
1 Corinthians 13:12Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.
Hebrews 8:11And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.

But this does not mean that all will choose God over themselves, but all will know and have made their choice

Hi Shy,

God is angered at the wickedness of the wicked. But we, they who are in Christ, are not under the Law. Sure, our deeds will go through the Fire, but we ourselves will be saved. There is no condemnation for those in Christ. Therefore, count it all blessedness that we are children of God and not the children of wrath.

We are to live on the renewed Earth after the judgement, but the judgement itself I have often wondered about too.

God says that all men are 'rendered according to our deeds' at the judgement, and he will 'bring out of darkness the hidden purposes of the heart'. Whether believer or non-believer, Jew, Gentile or Woman or Man,, 'all will stand before God's judgement seat'. We shall all be there for the 'ageless judgement'. And Paul says we all rise immortal in the blink of an eye when God calls the last trumpet, at the time that we rise from amidst death, to be judged. So we all have judgement to look forward to. But what does it entail exactly? I can only put forward educated guesses.

The Jews believed that those who lived bad lives and have many impurities must be cleansed in 'Gehinom', our modern translations call it 'hell'. It is the place where the 'Great God sits like a purifier of Gold and silver'. But first a blood sacrifice must be paid for sins. And the sacrifice is the Messiah.

Christians believe Jesus is that Messiah.

It is a touchy subject but i trust that Jesus would have known it the same way as the Jews did, not like our modern, Christian view on it.

It depends on the person, but I imagine for the self-righteous who think they are without sin, it will be the undoing of self-righteousness and the realization of the truth. And for the prideful, it will be bringing low of pride. For the heartbroken, it will be a love that knows no bounds. For the hateful, it will be the undoing of their hate. In all of it, there is a level of, as Paul says, 'knowing in full, just as I am known (by God)'.

I imagine for the people who thought God to be foolishness, there will be the realization that God is not foolishness. And for the 'unsaved' and the 'sinners' it will go something like the adulterous woman or the sorrowful thief on the cross.

'What shall we say, then? Shall we persist in sins knowing God's grace shall abound? Never may that idea come about!. We who decay from sin, how further will we live in it? Or don’t you know as many as were baptized unto Jesus, unto the death of him we were baptized? We are buried therefore with him, on account of the rite unto death, so that in the same way as Jesus was raised up from amidst death, by the glory of the Father we too should walk in renewal of life.
If we have become united in the likeness of the death of him, then we will be the same with the resurrection. Knowing this, the old man of us is crucified together with him so that the body of sin will be destroyed, and thereafter we will shall serve sin no longer. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Moreover, if we die like Christ, then also we trust that we will live again like him.For we know that Jesus, having been raised from amidst death, cannot die again; death no longer rules over him. Indeed, he died to sins once for all; next he lives, he lives for God. So also, you, consider yourselves to be dead indeed, to sin, alive moreover to God, the same as Jesus. Therefore, then don't let sin reign in the mortal body of you so that you obey the lusts of it, Neither allow any part of you to be used as an instrument of injustness, to sin, but come up to stand by God as though you are already alive from after death, and let all parts of you be as instruments of justness for God.

Also, hebrews;
And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already.

I was once involved in litigation of a wrongful discharge law suite. During the two years that this case drug out, I looked forward to the time that a judge would hear my case. Because I was justified in this case, I knew the judge would decide in my favor, and give me my just reward. When the case was settled, I was awarded $40,000 in damages.

At any rate, because we are justified through Christ, judgement is a time to look forward to with great expectation. This is the day we will receive our just reward. In every court of law there are winners and losers. Because our name is written in the book of life, we're the winners. The "great and terrible day of the Lord" will be great for us, and terrible for others.

I don't presume to know how God will conduct the judgment but in Matthew 7:21 Jesus says "Not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. We have to obey all of God's commandments to get to heaven. We have to do what Acts 3:38 says. Repent and be baptized for the remission of our sins and then live a faithful life. Including worshipping him on the first day of the week at a faithful congregation.

You will be judged for reward for what you have done in the body, not where you will spend eternity

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
John5:24
