After death, we all know we meet Jesus whatsoever. But have any of you imagined how would a judgment look like? Is it different for each for us or same process for all? Personally, I imagined Jesus sitting on a throne looking rather angry for the sins I've made, as unsaved and saved both. (I have no idea why lol)

So, how do you guys imagine it? God gave us creativity and imagination, I'd like to see people's views and opinions :)
Believers will not be condemned or judged as our judgment for sin took place on Calvary's cross (John 3:16-18, Rom 8:1) whereas non-believers will be judged for sins (Rom 6:23). I imagine that believers at the Judgment Seat of Christ will be elated to finally meet Jesus face to face and hear "well done, good and faithful servant" while receiving rewards according to their labour (Mark 9:41, Rev 22:12) :) . On the other hand, I imagine non-believers will have lots of unjustifiable excuses when the books are opened and their entire life is exposed to them at the Great White Throne Judgment. There will be some "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name" and "I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity".

what do you mean we meet Jesus after death?

I thought the Holy Spirit is here with us NOW and we are to have a personal relationship with God now.

God tells us to examine our own hearts and see if we are approved. to see if we need to repent and to learn every day and night.

I imagine after death God will gather me into His arms and wipe away every tear as He promised in the Bible.

Revelation 21
God Himself will be with them and be their God. [SUP]4 [/SUP]And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

When my friend died last year and revived, she told me she met Jesus. She wasn't judged because He told her to return back to Earth. There's a long story in it, but it's real.

Therefore it is by the reason one does what one does to whether they will be justified or not and it is
Galatians 3:8Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”
Galatians 3:11Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”
Galatians 3:24So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.
Galatians 5:4You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
Ephesians 5:2and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Romans 15:7Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
Romans 1:17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

That has happened to many peoples and we are to make sure scripture lines up and to me the whole Bible Old and New line up in LOVE the two greatest commandments that fill all the Law are both being in Love receiving the LOve from God that is in 1 Cor 13

We are no longer under the law, but under grace. I believe that doing the will of the Father means (as Jesus indicates) to love God above all and to love our neighbor as ourselves (what scholars call "the love command"). At Matthew 25:31-46, Jesus talks about separating the sheep from the goats (the righteous from the unrighteous). Here we are judged, not by the sins we have committed, but according to how we treated each other. Also, baptism is seemingly not necessary for salvation, for consider the thief on the cross, who asked Jesus to remember him in His kingdom. Jesus replies that the thief will see Jesus in Paradise. Obviously we should try to live a righteous life, for we must not put Christ to the test (1 Corinthians 10:9) and the Holy Spirit helps us greatly in our walk, transforming us.

I don't presume to know how God will conduct the judgment but in Matthew 7:21 Jesus says "Not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. We have to obey all of God's commandments to get to heaven. We have to do what Acts 3:38 says. Repent and be baptized for the remission of our sins and then live a faithful life. Including worshipping him on the first day of the week at a faithful congregation.

The Jews believed that those who lived bad lives and have many impurities must be cleansed in 'Gehinom', our modern translations call it 'hell'. It is the place where the 'Great God sits like a purifier of Gold and silver'. But first a blood sacrifice must be paid for sins. And the sacrifice is the Messiah.

Christians believe Jesus is that Messiah.

It is a touchy subject but i trust that Jesus would have known it the same way as the Jews did, not like our modern, Christian view on it.
So that’s what Gehenna is for? It is for “cleansing” unbelievers from impurities? Then what happens after the cleansing? They are saved? = Universal salvation?

Gehinnom, Hinnom (Hebrew), Gehenna, Geenna (Greek): It was originally a valley of Hinnom in Jerusalem (Neh 11:30), a literal place on earth where pagan sacrifice was performed but was later destroyed (2 Kings 23:10). The NT does not present it as the literal valley but the term is now used figuratively as the eternal Lake of fire or Hell, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (G1067) [Matt 10:28]. But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire (Matt 5:22).

Now let's see what the word of God reveals concerning the eternal permanent abode of the unsaved...
Matt 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Matt 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Mark 9:47-48
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Where will this everlasting (ad infinitum) punishment occur?
Rev 20:14-15
14 And death and hell [Hades] were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The Lake of fire is the destiny of the unsaved after the final judgment where they will be separated from God eternally. Nowhere in the bible does it say the Lake of fire, Gehenna, is for purification, rather it says it's a place of eternal punishment. The cleansing from sin is only through the blood of Christ when the repentant individual, while alive on earth, places their faith in the Saviour which is the only way to receive eternal life. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood (Rev 1:5).

It depends on the person, but I imagine for the self-righteous who think they are without sin, it will be the undoing of self-righteousness and the realization of the truth. And for the prideful, it will be bringing low of pride. For the heartbroken, it will be a love that knows no bounds. For the hateful, it will be the undoing of their hate. In all of it, there is a level of, as Paul says, 'knowing in full, just as I am known (by God)'.

I imagine for the people who thought God to be foolishness, there will be the realization that God is not foolishness. And for the 'unsaved' and the 'sinners' it will go something like the adulterous woman or the sorrowful thief on the cross.
Yeah they may have all those feelings, some may even confess that Jesus is Lord but it will be too late for salvation. The thief on the cross and the adulterous woman were still alive on earth thus had opportunity for repentance and salvation. In judgment no unbeliever will have valid excuse to give to God; they will hear "I never knew you, depart from me".

Y’all need to stop resounding this universalism stuff, Mediate...I mean Meshullam.

I agree we are saved by grace. We could never earn it or be good enough to deserve it. But God says if you love Him you will obey His commandments. That means all of them. How can we just leave off the verse in Acts 2:38 that says "Repent and be baptized FOR the REMISSION of ours sins." and Mark 16:15 & 16 that says "Go into all the world preaching that whoever believes AND is BAPTIZED will be SAVED". We can't just pick and choose which commands we want to follow. Of course we have to do other things like you said and treat others good. But it don't any good to be the nicest person on earth if you have not done what God says to do to be saved.

He says Born again of the Spirit of God, how can one do this today? Be Born again not of flesh but of Spirit here and now and our flesh still be alive? Or would it be our flesh still alive in the born again state here and now? I do not think God would have come in the flesh and do a half job do you?
Romans 5:10For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
2 Corinthians 5:20We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
You already knowyou are forgiven (reconciled by the death) now ask for the resurrected life here and now?

Jesus said if you love Him you will keep His commandments. When they asked Jesus what is the greatest commandment, He broke all 10 down into 2. Jesus said love God with all your strength, Then Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself. I see all 10 commandment in these 2, the first 4 commandments is loving God, then the remaining 6 is loving people. Praise God for sending Jesus, we would be so lost without Him.
