No, what I am taking about is David being called a man after God's own heart but yet not being perfect. How could he be called that but yet not be perfect?

Sanctification is us being drawn back into a relationship with God. This is different than us "striving" to be perfect.
David was the one that said blessed are those that don't have their sins imputed to them.
David was under the law.

How could he be perfect like our father in heaven if sin was imputed to him.

See this is my point. Some people will tell you that you must be perfect and you must be sinless which is a false lie. We are to strive for it but we can in no way shape or form be perfect or sinless. If we could be either then what did Jesus die for? Jesus died because God knows we can be neither but He loves us so much that He made a way for us to enter eternity with Him. Yes strive for it but don't let your imperfections or you sin drive you away from God. Now don't think I am saying "do what you want" but know that thru the blood of Jesus you can be sanctified to God without perfection or sinlessness.

Right.... so Jesus was just playing a cruel joke on the woman who was caught in the act of adultery when he said to her to, "sin no more?" That doesn't make any sense. Jesus meant what he said. 1 Peter 4:1 says that they that have suffered in the flesh have ceased from sin. I am pretty sure the word "cease" here means to stop. Galatians 5:24 says they that are Christ's have crucified the affections and lusts. Okay, so did they crucify the affections and lusts or not?

1 Peter 4:3
For you(/we) have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—
living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

Precisely, and 1 John 1;9 is given to us so that we will stop sinning sooner and not later, therefore may be too late. Please be aware of 'counterfeits' and 'imposters' lambs and sheep of GOD, by CHRIST and for CHRIST. For they are the actual 'liars' preach and teach a different gospel than the 'one' is written and for us to learn by the Help of the HOLY SPIRIT 'as it is written'. And if you fall for them, you will end up accepting a different jesus and a different spirit. They have gone ahead of these Grace and Truth word/teaching of CHRIST and have no GOD. Welcoming and greeting them we take part in their 'wicked works'.

Apostle Paul said to the Church that, "Those who keep on sinning belongs to the devil." They are therefore 'slaves to sin' once again, for they have not truly buried their carnal/flesh/self's passions and desires. satan is not to be blamed for everything, and our learning is not to 'insult' him according to the 'epistle' of Jude. For according to Galatians chapter 5, our carnal/flesh/self's passions and desires 'wars' against the HOLY SPIRIT.

Therefore who is the true satan against GOD's HOLY SPIRIT, whom also we frequently 'grieve', in our 'lawlessness' and 'lawlessness is sin', and moreover who should have known better than an unbeliever?

As it is written and said by JESUS to HIS lambs and sheep 'who hear HIS voice and HE knows them and they follow HIM' in faith practicing and witnessing that;

"Be ye perfect as your FATHER in Heaven is perfect."

What an 'exposure' of 'robbers' and 'thieves' in the church and even here in this forum as we are 'witnessing' them who 'boldly' speak apart from the truth of LORD JESUS CHRIST written in the New Covenant/Testament/Agreement, are actually instruments of satan spreading lies, as the parable of the 'sower of wheat seeds (GOD's word/teaching) and the sower of weed seeds (satan's word/teaching), and they both sow in the same field (the world)', who also go on to 'beguile weak women' in the church in order to take part in their wicked works as well.

Another point this darling babes in CHRIST meant that she 'strife to become perfect' and she calls us to do the same and the Bible tells us so?

Who is preaching and teaching and encouraging who?

Sadly i see from the LORD a 'bitter' word/teaching for these people coming 'as a reminder' and 'a stir up of memory', that and 'as it is written';

"The blind leading the blind and soon they are going to fall into a ditch."

Please stop this story telling and games playing around the fire place at once! Or many of you who are 'lukewarm' are in a strong delusion one day believe the 'beast' in actually 'CHRIST' and follow him and in that same 'delusion' with him you will persecute GOD's true Church, as how the 'papacy' rule did to our forefathers, as they were the true 'Protestants' to that 'papacy' and 'all' to the every word/teaching of GOD that proceeded out of HIS mouth's rule. i have been mentioning about this 'strong delusion' to come, again and again in a another post 'cautioning' believers of their 'ignorance' to the every word/teaching of GOD, and i believe this a 'prophesy' to the Church.

When a believer 'testify', that they 'strife to become perfect' and encourage others to do so, one has bare false witness against the word/teaching of GOD of our Covenant/Testament/Agreement. Because 'strife' is one of the work/fruit of the 'flesh' that are evident according to Galatians 5;20 and therefore 'it' wars against the HOLY SPIRIT (verse 17), and that on our part grieves HIM. That is why one is falsely struggling to become perfect and never get there because it is the 'work' of their flesh and not the teaching of CHRIST.

As my fellow brethren 'Jason047' have 'testified' in plain written 'truth' that in other words, when the 'flesh' is in the way and it's passions and desires never immediately or sooner gradually put to death or in other words put to 'suffer', therefore we never cease from sin. Thank you 'brethren' for boasting about CHRIST as is the word/teaching, the 'spiritual manna' came from Heaven.

As it is written;

"If we keep on sinning will Grace abound in us even better?"

Please take this as a correction from the LORD thy GOD and be encouraged to learn spiritual knowledge faith and therefore 'testify' and also put them into faith practice.

GOD the FATHER bless you all in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST and count us worthy to escape tribulation.

Apostle Paul said to the Church that, "Those who keep on sinning belongs to the devil."

Dear Fred James:

I do agree that those who keep on sinning belong to the devil. However, what verse in Scripture did Paul specifically say these words? Granted, I agree Paul says be ye angry and sin not and do not give place to the devil; And Paul at the end of Romans 6 says that one yields themselves to which servant they want to obey. Whether it be sin unto death or obedience unto righteousness.

Granted, again, I want to make it clear, I am not in disagreement that anyone who sins is of the devil. For John says these words in 1 John 3:8. Anyways, I was just curious to what verse you were referencing by Paul here (with the bolded letters) that said, "Those who keep on sinning belongs to the devil."?

They are therefore 'slaves to sin' once again, for they have not truly buried their carnal/flesh/self's passions and desires. satan is not to be blamed for everything, and our learning is not to 'insult' him according to the 'epistle' of Jude. Well, from what I perceive in what you had written, it appears we are in agreement that those who teach a sin and still be saved doctrine are not going to make it. Matthew 7 drives this point home crystal clear. For Jesus told certain believers to depart from him because they worked iniquity (sin).

As my fellow brethren 'Jason047' have 'testified' in plain written 'truth' that in other words, when the 'flesh' is in the way and it's passions and desires never immediately or sooner gradually put to death or in other words put to 'suffer', therefore we never cease from sin. If that is compliment, I am only a messenger (as you know). The real glory belongs to Christ (for t. But thank you for the kind words.

As it is written;

"If we keep on sinning will Grace abound in us even better?"

Please take this as a correction from the LORD thy GOD and be encouraged to learn spiritual knowledge faith and therefore 'testify' and also put them into faith practice.

I do believe we as believers have to stop sinning according to the Scriptures. And I do believe Paul when he asked the question, "Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound?" And then he replied with, "God forbid."

For Paul is saying no. No to those who think they can continue in sin (or those who believe in a sin and still be saved doctrine). In other words, these false Grace teachers today cannot continue in sin so that grace may abound. So they are indeed without excuse if they say they will never be able to stop sinning in this life because Paul refutes them in Romans 6 many times over.

As for you saying the words, "Please take this as a correction from the LORD thy GOD": Not sure who you are referring to here. Are you saying that I need to take what you say as a form of correction? If so, I do not think we are in any kind of disagreement involving the Word here.

Anyways, grace, peace, and love be unto you from the LORD.
And please be well.

Sincerely,

~ Jason.

Dear brethren Jason0047, it was my mistake to mention Apostle Paul rather than Apostle John according to 1 John 3;8. i apologize that i am sorry. Please continue the 'Good works' and 'Good fight' in 'justification' and 'authority' of the GOD's Covenant/Testament/Agreement word/teaching, in order HIS Church not to continue in 'lawlessness'.

GOD bless you in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Learning to live under grace takes some getting used to. We are so used to living in the world that we don't have a real idea
about how God's grace works in our lives. If we don't know and believe the truth, we won't be set free by it.

When we are conscious of God's constant supply to us, we are living under grace. But, when we are conscious of the demand put on us to achieve, we are living under the law.” Simply put, the principle of grace is
supply, while the principle of the law is demand. The law says, “You shall…You shall not…You shall…” But under grace, God says, “I will…I will…I will…” (Hebrews 8:10–12) Under grace, God is the one doing all the doing and supplying, not us. This is our relationship with Him under the new covenant of grace.

When we start seeing how Jesus paid for our standing in Him., we begin to be set free from the idea we can make this Christian life work by sheer will power. We can't., He does the supplying. The Christian life takes on a whole new meaning as we are set free from the law to live by grace.

The believer is always to walk by faith and if the believer sins, he is to reckon himself to be dead to that sin. When he does so he is acknowledging his sin before the living God because of conviction in his heart through the Holy Spirit. God gives him grace and turns him from the sin, just like he did with the woman taken in adultery. There is nothing more the believer has to do and it is all by faith because of the finished work of Christ.
