Dear Fred James:
I do agree that those who keep on sinning belong to the devil. However, what verse in Scripture did Paul specifically say these words? Granted, I agree Paul says be ye angry and sin not and do not give place to the devil; And Paul at the end of Romans 6 says that one yields themselves to which servant they want to obey. Whether it be sin unto death or obedience unto righteousness.
Granted, again, I want to make it clear, I am not in disagreement that anyone who sins is of the devil. For John says these words in 1 John 3:8. Anyways, I was just curious to what verse you were referencing by Paul here (with the bolded letters) that said, "Those who keep on sinning belongs to the devil."?
Well, from what I perceive in what you had written, it appears we are in agreement that those who teach a sin and still be saved doctrine are not going to make it. Matthew 7 drives this point home crystal clear. For Jesus told certain believers to depart from him because they worked iniquity (sin).
If that is compliment, I am only a messenger (as you know). The real glory belongs to Christ (for t. But thank you for the kind words.
I do believe we as believers have to stop sinning according to the Scriptures. And I do believe Paul when he asked the question, "Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound?" And then he replied with, "God forbid."
For Paul is saying no. No to those who think they can continue in sin (or those who believe in a sin and still be saved doctrine). In other words, these false Grace teachers today cannot continue in sin so that grace may abound. So they are indeed without excuse if they say they will never be able to stop sinning in this life because Paul refutes them in Romans 6 many times over.
As for you saying the words, "Please take this as a correction from the LORD thy GOD": Not sure who you are referring to here. Are you saying that I need to take what you say as a form of correction? If so, I do not think we are in any kind of disagreement involving the Word here.
Anyways, grace, peace, and love be unto you from the LORD.
And please be well.
Sincerely,
~ Jason.
