I truly believe that the prosperity gospel is just a renewal of the catholic doctrine of indulgences. In the past Rome would give out indulgences in exchange for money.... the receiving of blessings, to get someone out of "purgatory" for example.

I've noticed several catholic teachings entering the christian churches, and I think this is just another of them.

Galatians 2:4: "...And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage)"

2 Peter 2:1-3: "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber"

Wow popeye, you just condemned everyone in this thread, do you include yourself?

"There is no way any of you have a secret place,or intimacy with Jesus."
My point is,who is spending time in his presence, then attacking his body?

You completely missed my point.

You attack his body, find like minded people to join your mocking, then wonder what happened.

You started the thread. You knew the outcome. It is a rehash big time.

You got what you came for. Dissention

Yet you are attacking me?

I did get what I created the thread for and that was a conversation with Allen's and a better understanding about what Kenneth Hagin actually taught and not what those who accuse him of being a wolf says he taught.

You probably missed my words in the middle of yours and others attacks.

I actually came to the conclusion that Hagin was probably, lead by the Holy Spirit when he was younger, but followed false idols of wealth and health as he got older. He repented before he died and wrote the "Midas touch" to rebuke the false teachings he used to believe and teach.

I would no more condemn him than I would King Saul or Solomon.

However you can go feel self righteous and condemn everyone with your words.

I merely state it is a false accusation and unjustified.

God knows my heart and He is my shield and my Rock.

Why is it that after 12 pages, threads on the BDF always get nasty?

Or maybe threads are like fish, after 3 days they start to smell bad?

It's like not only have you never seem a false prophet, but salvation can even be a bad thing under your broad brush.

Look at the literal thousands of perversions of salvation that many "churches" as well as cults spread like a flood.

Does that make salvation bad????

You prosperity "expert" have no clue what is going on.

Let me help you.

GOD = GOOD
DEVIL= BAD

PROSPERITY ( A RAISE,A GIFT,HIGHER PAYING JOB,INHERITANCE,ETC)= GOOD

LOSS,DESPAIR,GETTING FIRED,INJURY,SICKNESS,ETC = BAD

I WOULD NEVER IN A THOUSAND YEARS PREACH OR EMPHASIZE MONEY OR PROSPERITY.

What you guys do is demonize not only a biblical dynamic, but those members of the body that you think are doing that.

YouTube jockeys thinking they know what is going on.

You don't

Matthew 5:23 ►
New International Version
"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

***

Yeah it still bugs me..

Sorry folks, gonna need to pray more.

I really dislike being falsely accused and I need to ask God how to handle it.

What do you do when someone posts in your thread mainly to call you a liar?
You are a woman of God,but wrong about Hagin.

Apparently, you did not see your op defends him. Read it

prosperity message
So, what do you teach... the poverty message???

If so, WHY have you know given all your stuff away and be living under a bridge so you can be more "humble" before the Lord???

You know, according to many that believe Christians should be poor... God will love you more if you are poor

I heard Schambach in person back in the late 70's and I know he is with the Lord now before the throne of our Father - shouting like a wild man that is so excited about the goodness of God.

I love the story he tells of that cripple boy that gets healed of a bunch of different diseases right in front of him. He could hear the kids bones cracking as the Lord straightened him up. Awesome story of the goodness and grace of our Lord.

Sorry, but you're no authority on the true Gospel, because you don't preach or know it, nor upon who is with the Lord or who is not. Your assumptions and beliefs are purely subjective and not based upon the Word of God, but on twisted meanings, psychosomatic and other fake healings, and upon the false gospel of covetous idolatry a.ka. WoF/Prosperity gospel. 2 Peter 2:3ff.
