Hey Sister,

We have found that telling the, their sin of homosexuality is sending them to hell will never work.

We have found that many women in this lifestyle are not in it for the lust of same sex satisfaction. In fact, many female homosexuals have a greater hurt and brokenness that needs addressed first. Many were sex trafficked by their single mothers to men and even women. The most common they were sexually and physically abused male relatives, including their Fathers, step-fathers and had a passive mother that stood by and let it happen. Many had Mothers who would do anything to keep Mr. Wrong in her life, including 3 ways sex with their boyfriend, daughter and even same sex between mom and daughter.

When Jesus heals the greater hurt and brokenness the homosexuality usually stops instantly.

Mercy, love and truth reach those trapped in this lie of the enemy...

The Church should stop assuming they all are debased and immoral and ask the Spirit to show them the greater brokenness and how to heal that. Humanity's brokenness matters to God, so it should also matter to us...
Fantastic post.

Some really useful advice here and some lovely comments too.

Can I just add...I never preach to either of these girls about their lesbianism being wrong, that is between them and God. I have tried to bring them to The Lord - mainly just telling them what I believe and why I believe it - it was one of them who at first asked and THEY bring up the lesbian obstacle and that is the stumbling block, it is why they will not consider Jesus, they themselves know they are convicted. This is why I needed to know the exact scripture which someone gave me here. These girls know that I am "different" but they also see that I can be fun and that Christianity isn't boring and all about being serious all the time - these things are not likely to appeal to such young girls...but try to let God guide me in this.

The verse AG gave, applies to women also. It's just as nasty and wrong for two women to have sex, as it is for two men..

Keep going.......

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Obviously I don't know the full situation here, but if you
show her these verses, she will probably get offended,
and whatever friendship there is will likely evaporate.
A clean person trying to rub off on a dirty one won't
clean that person , they'll only soil themselves.
All you can do is lovingly give her the cleaning supplies and let God take over.

John 15
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

Amen.

The log and the speck.

If we spent more time pointing people toward the work of Jesus, focus on God's love, get em saved, instead of condemning them for their sin. If we then just watched the Holy Spirit do His work (He did promise to finish the work He started). That might help some folks.
John 8:4-11
4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?”
6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”
8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
11 She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

Notice how Jesus says "Neither do I condemn you" before he addresses lifestyle.

He doesn't say "Go and sin no more then I won't condemn you"

What a beautiful encounter that must have been. How releasing that must have been.

Jesus eat with sinners, talked with sinners, walked with sinners and sought them out.
The dregs and downtrodden, those looked down on judged by wicked unbalanced human judgement.

Sin no more implies that Jesus forgave her. He did not condemn her, but neither did He condone her sin.

He loves people where they are and enough bring them out of where they are at.

The opposite of approve is reprove and one is good and the other is not. Rebuke means criticism,or sharp disapproval.pass these words up as often as you like. won't do you any good to ignore them, because that is what is going on. The truth of God's word hurt to the core, so they pass it up.

If it was that easy, then all would be free of this today. you got to be willing in heart to be cleansed before God will heal you. People are waiting on God, when really God is waiting on them. He forces no one, if he did , the person would rebel anyway because it is not what they want.

I think it takes discernment and honesty. When I was in ministry I made it clear that our example is Christ,we follow HIM and He is the only one who is perfect. I will fail, you will fail, but we're not supposed to be telling sinners "be like me",we're supposed to be saying "be like HIM". We're sinners, saved by grace and that is how we are to be a light to the world,to show them how to be like Jesus, not how to join a church and pretend to be a perfect Christian.

My father is an evangelist,Ive told this before. One night in the middle of a concert he stopped and began to preach on homosexuality and how it was sin and separated us from God. A young man came forward that night and was saved. When we spoke to him later he said he did not know that homosexuality was wrong. People in the church had been praying that he would get saved. He was about to get surgery to become female. In that situation the flat out truth was needed, but again, its a matter of discernment and being open to the Holy Spirits leading.

Not sure where that's paraphrased from, but Proverbs 16:6 reads:

"By mercy and truth iniquity is purged:
and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil."

Seems to match up pretty well with what I said.

All you can do is lovingly give her the cleaning supplies and let God take over.

The gay world, men and women that are trying to break free of this is wrestling against flesh and blood and will never be free. EPHESIANS ;6; 12; For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. {Demonic world with very strong influence}Even demon possession .They don't understand the spiritual world, that driving force that have them bound, and they can't get loose. MATTHEW; 12; 29; Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.. {Before they can be cleaned, the demons must be bound up first, and then the burden of sin removed which his the strong man's goods.
