objective Biblical truth is basically irrelevant.....to them.
Sorta like denying the truth that there isnt a pre-trib rapture, or Millennial Kingdom where Jews are sacrificing animals blessed by God, found any place in the Holy Scripture

Yup that's exactly what the fake pastors are failing to deny. They couldn't exegete their way out of a paper bag.

(Then Cometh The End)

1 Corinthians 15:21-24 & 51-54KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end
, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Perhaps because you lack reason?
No, because there is no reason to think that someone like Ireneaus, who lived way before Darby would have been pre-trib, or that variant of pre-trib that though only some saints would be raptured (is that the idea). There is no reason to think any of the apostles believed in pre-trib. The Bible does not teach it. Pre-tribbers read the idea into passage. There is no reason to think there are multiple comings of Christ after His ascension and before the New Heaven and the New Earth descends as described in Revelation.

There's actually a verse that says Jesus returns after the great tribulation. No verses that say He returns before. Even if you read Revelation chronologically and literally He still returns after the great tribulation. By now it's common knowledge the rapture and first resurrection occur when Jesus returns. It's very simple.

There is no reason to interpret any of these verses as pre-trib because there is no scripture that teaches a pretribulational rapture. Show me scriptures that lay out a sequence of events where the rapture occurs before the tribulation.

The Bible says that we are waiting for Jesus' coming. If Jesus coming is multiple events, the burden of proof is on you.

The resurrection and rapture occur at Jesus' coming according to I Thessalonians 4, c.f. I Corinthians 15.

"That wicked' is destroyed at the brighteness of the Lord's coming, also.

I am not pretrib, but I find your argument, which hinges on your interpretation of 'then', and ignores the book of Revelation, rather unconvincing. In the book of Revelation, there is a resurrection of the saints, followed by 1000 years, then a resurrection of the rest of the dead.

The verse says 'then', not 'immediately' or 'straightway.' It lays out a sequence of events but does not specify that they occur in a split second.

Let's apply your interpretations to some other uses of the Greek εἶτα, translated 'then' in the New Testament.
Mark 4
28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

Based on your interpretation of the use of the word in I Corinthians, when grain springs up out of the ground, it instantly has an ear of grain. There is no wait time. If you have a blade, BAM it has an ear on it. It sure seems like grain fields take a little longer than that from what I have observed.

1 Timothy 3:10
And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.

And if your use of 'then' is right, then deacons may only be tested for a split second. Is that right?

Revelation 20:5-6 is the verse you mention. It states the first resurrection of the dead takes place after the tribulation.
In 1 Cor. 15:23-26 Paul says Jesus was the first fruit that would be followed by those who are His at His coming.

Your claim of "Multiple" future resurrections is false

There is one future resurrection of "All" that have lived, and this takes place on the "Last Day" at the Second Coming, and final judgement

(THE LAST DAY RESURRECTION)

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth
; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 6:39-40KJV
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(THE LAST DAY JUDGEMENT)

John 12:48KJV
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Let us look at what the Bible says on this topic, instead of looking only at scriptures that do not prove your case.

Revelation 20
5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

If you keep reading, there is a resurrection after the 1000 years. Some of the earliest Christians took this quite literally, including those who were the circles around St. John, according to Eusebius' 'Ecclesiastical History'. He gives Papias as an example. Eusebius did not hold to this idea himself. More allegorical interpretations had come into vogue in his day. But he admits that the other view was an old one in his book. Justin also held to some rather 'literal' eschatological views in the early 100s.

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth
; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
How do you think this proves your point? There is no contradiction with what I quoted. Specific scriptures clarify more general ones.

Exactly how do you think these verses prove your point. 'Day' can refer to a time period. Are you saying you think the phrase 'the last day' has to refer to a 12 hour or 14 hour period of time?

Yes it does say (First Resurrection) in Revelation 20:5-6 Because there are (Two Resurrections) seen on the (Last Day)

(First) the righteous to Eternal Life

Jesus is Human and he is immortal. I am human. You are human. The Bible speaks of life eternal. How can you say 'no human life beyond this time.' That does not line up with scripture.

You did not deal with the verse from Revelation.

The glorified body isnt a human body, but a tangible spiritual body

Jesus isnt in a human body presently, he maintains the spiritual glorified body, being the first fruit of the resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:42-47KJV
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

I don't mean to derail your thread, but I feel that it is relevant to the topic.

In light of the pre, mid and post gathering of the church interpretations, I have a scripture that was revealed to me just a few nights ago while I was reading, which I had never even considered before as a proof of the church being gathered prior to the time of God's wrath which will be carried out via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgment, as well as the plagues that the two witnesses bring.

============================================================

I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.

============================================================

The punishment for adding to the prophecies in book of Revelation is that, the person who does this will go through those very plagues, meaning that they would have to be on the earth to experience them when they take place. As previously stated, the plagues described in the book of Revelation is none other than the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments, as well as the plagues that the two witnesses will bring.

All of that said, if being present on the earth to experience the plagues of the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments is the punishment for those who add to the prophesies in the book of Revelation, then how is it that we have people believing and teaching that the true church is going to be on the earth to experience those plagues?

And just a note for those who would claim that the church will be protected during that time: first, the church is nowhere mentioned during the narrative of God's wrath. And second, there is no scripture stated that they are protected. The only groups who are protected is the woman/Israel of chapter 12 where God cares for her during the last 3 1/2 years out in the wilderness. And the 144,000 who are said to be protected from the stings of the demon locusts of the 5th trumpet. Other than that, there is nothing mentioned of anyone being protected and rightly so, because the purpose of those plagues of wrath are to punish the inhabitants of the earth.

The mid tribulation believers would have the church going through a portion of those plagues. And the post believers would have us going through all of the plagues mentioned in the book. For Jesus doesn't return to the earth to end the age until after the 7th bowl has been poured out.

Just food for thought ......
Here's more food for thought:

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Irenaeus taught the Church would see the Antichrist on earth, and go through the tribulation, as did all the early church fathers

The pre-tribers do nothing more than take the second coming of Jesus Christ, and claim it's a pre-trib rapture
