Not according to Bible history

Look at the image, Babylonian is the third kingdom.

When Daniel had the dream he was the third kingdom, the third world power that rose to rule the world, Egypt was the first power to rise and rule the world then God destroyed it. Then in its place the Assyrian Empire rose to rule the world. That makes Babylonian the third.
In Daniel 2 Babylon is the 1st (Gold) In Revelation 13 which also mentions the 7 headed beast it has:-
1.Babylon
2.Medo-Persia
3.Grece
4.Pagan Rome
5.Sea beast Rev 13
6. Beast from earth (2nd beast) Rev 13
7. Beast from bottomless pit Revelation 11 & 17

Compare the 1st beast of Rev 13 and the beasts of Daniel 7, if you put the beasts of Daniel 7 together you have a beast with 7 heads and 10 horns

John lived in the roman empire “one is”

John said “the other is not yet come”
He did not say 3 have fallen, "one is" and 3 yet to come.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

How do you know that the one is is not dealing with an end time power and is written for the last days. Revelation 13 has a 7 headed beast who is like a lion, bear, leopard and a dragon. That is a reference to Daniel 7 where we have
1. Lion=Babylon
2.Bear=Medo-Persia
3.Leopard=Greece
4.Dragon=Rome

From this Revelation is giving us clues as to who the 7 heads are.

Nice try but it’s pretty self-explanatory

Hi you might want to add these verses to that story

Daniel 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
[/QUOTE]Yes that's right Peter. Excellent.

There is a thread on chiasms in the Bible, shows chiasm in revelation would be good for you to read and understand it

According to Rev 17 the 7th beast comes out of the bottomless pit and continues for a short space but, comes back. The beast coming out of the bottomless pit in Rev 11 continues for only 3.5 prophetic days and it is this beast that comes back which is the 8th.
Revelation 11:7-9
(7) And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
(8) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
(9) And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
Revelation 17:8
(8) The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Revelation 17:10
(10) And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

but you were just saying they were seven empires...

Yes seven empires see Rv17 seven headed dragon

also you left several ancient empires out of your chart...who decides which empires are important?

Well, God decides which empires are important in Bible prophesy see Daniel 2.

egypt fell about four times actually...likewise for Assyria and Babylon...Those empires had a lot more than just one king each...

Dose not matter how many kings those empires had.

As Daniel said to Nebuchadnezzar 38-Thou [art] this head of gold. Not the king prior to Nebuchadnezzar nor the king prior to him.

Nor the king prior to the king of Medo-persia, his arms of silver.

Nor the king prior to the king of Greece, his belly and his thighs of brass.

Nor the king prior to the king of Roman, his legs of iron.

Why would God count more than one king prior to the king of the Assyrian Empire or the Egypt Empire?

38-Thou [art] this head of gold.39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all [things]: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

After the head of gold, Medo-Persia and after that the Grecian Empire and after that the Roman Empire legs of iron.

That’s who decides which empires are important, God and Bible prophesy

Egypt was the World Power and when God destroyed it (1)
The Assyrian Empire was the World Power and it had a king when it fell (2)
Babylon was the World Power and it had a king when it fell (3)
Medo-persia was the World Power and it had a king when it fell (4)
Greece was the World Power and it had a king when it fell (5)
Roman was the World Power and it had a king when it fell (6)
The other which is (not yet come) (7)

The 2 kingdoms before Babylon are Egypt and Assyria.

It could be when the Bible says the beast has 7 heads, that it means that Satan is the one that influenced the 7 world powers, referred to as kingdoms, and the 10 horns is Satan influencing the world by the world divided in to 10 sections with a leader in each section, who wait for the beast, the man of sin,to appear claiming to be God,to hand their power over to him.

The Bible says that the beast is the 8th king, and is of the 7 heads,or kings, which seems to infer that Satan influenced the 7 kingdoms, and is not of God.It seems like God is telling us that however those 7 kingdoms operated it is not of Him,at least not in it's entirety, for we see that in all of them there was an acknowledging of God,but still they held unto their heathen ways, and whatever knowledge they did have about God,they forgot it in the future.

The 7 heads or kingdoms seem to be Egypt,Assyria,Babylon,Medo-Persia,Greece,Roman Empire, the 10 horn kingdom.

It says 5 of the kingdoms are fallen, and the time John wrote Revelation the first 5 kingdoms were not in power.

John said one is in operation, and at that time the Roman Empire was ruling.

John said one is to come, which is the 7th king, the 10 horn kingdom, which will continue for a small time, which the 10 horn kingdom will rule during the first half of the 7 years tribulation period without the beast, which is a small time.

The beast is the 8th king, the man of sin.

In Revelation chapter 12,it says the crowns are on the heads, which seems to mean Satan deceiving the world in the spiritual realm by the 7 kingdoms.

In Revelation chapter 13,the crowns are on the horns, which seems to mean Satan deceiving the world in the physical realm as the beast, and the Bible says the 10 horns rule with the beast for one hour.

In chapter 13 it says one of it's heads was wounded and healed, which could mean that the 10 horns, the 7th head, could not handle the problems on earth during the first half of the tribulation, because of the 6th trumpet of a 200,000,000 men army that fights the world, which seems to be the Muslim world against the world, because they do not like the operation of the one world government and one world religious system, although the Arab governments will comply,at least at first when the world comes together.

God said at the end of the 6th trumpet, that man will still not repent of their evil ways, and they go about trying to still solve their problems,so that is when God will allow the beast to rule over them.

The beast will restore order from the disaster of the war during the first half, and during his speech he convinces the world to follow his lead to solve the problems on earth, and the 10 horns is healed and operational again to rule with the beast for one hour.
